So far so good Ive been using them for several years they do not inflate their prices. Hopefully they will stay true to their trustful nature.. a lot of great work done on many of our cars.

Because of my job I am on the road a lot and due to that I am frequently having to keep up the maintenance on my vehicle (spark plugs, oil changes, etc.) I frequently use Priest and Holcomb Auto and they are very informative on what they will be doing to my vehicle as well as getting things done in a timely manner. For example, the last time I was in I wanted to get my oil changed, brakes done, and my fluid levels checked and topped off, if need be, upon inspection the mechanic came and talked to me personally and told me that they could change the brakes if I absolutely wanted them too but the brakes were still at 60% and did not need to be changed. I can honestly say that it makes me very happy that there are still businesses out there that are so honest with their customers because I am certain if I were anywhere else, they would have just changed the brakes and charged me when I did not need them done. I 100% recommend this business as they have always done right by me!

I was calling to get an estimate I gave the woman my car information and my phone number to call me back when she got the information. I didn’t hear for about 30 minutes so I gave a call back but no one answered. I waited an hour since I had last heard from them and still no one answered the phone. Very unprofessional.Edit*They call me back a whole day later being very disrespectful to me and then hung up the phone on me. This place needs to work on their customer service. If you don’t want to be disrespected then I suggest you stay away from this place. I do not recommend getting service at all from this place. I recommend going to maximum auto repair. They are nice, have great customer service, are more affordable, honest with their customers, and are very great at time management unlike this place.

I had an engine replaced on an 06 Lincoln. The work was shoddy. I had multiple engine codes the next day, and Darlene said it wasnt her fault. It took them a month after promising 10 days. Darlene tried to con me into believing the work was being done when the car sat for 2,3 weeks in the back lot. I ended up calling the police. I would not recommend this company to anyone. The service is poor, and they will not keep their commitment.

I’m sure this place is okay for general maintenance repairs, but do yourself a favor and go elsewhere if you have to do anything else.I ended up spending THOUSANDS to have my vehicle repaired correctly at a different body shop. I gave them 3 chances to correct it, but like many other comments say…they will not stand by their work, the lady up front is rude, and you have to pay cash or you’ll be charged insane amounts to use your card and my vehicle still wasn’t fixed. I was told by them to just go to the dealership after I wasted my money. Again, I can’t say about their routine work such as alignment or oil changes but I won’t be going back to find out.

I would highly recommend this mechanic shop to anyone living in Powder Springs, Hiram, Douglasville and Dallas area. Its a family owned business. Their customers service is amazing. Their prices are better than the chain mechanic shops around here. You can tell that they love what they do and dont overcharge for the labor or parts.

Absolutely the worst customer service ever. They didnt even check what I asked them to on my car after I waited 3 days. Had to have them re-check the car. No apologies. Gave me info my dealership says is incorrect. And after their receptionist put me on hold for over 20min the person that forgot about my phone call criticized me and said they wouldve hung up 15 min earlier and called back. Imagine blaming someone for their patience instead of being kind. Disgusting. Ill never use or recommend them again.Just take a look at their replies to criticism in reviews. What a joke.Edit: The company reply is false and laughable. They had my car for 3 days (I brought it in Tues morning first thing and they first called Thurs evening, tyes/weds/thurs is simple math), didnt even look at what I asked, and were rude and took an extra 4th day into Fri before looking at what I asked in the first place and chopping an attitude. I was never once rude about how long they took to look at it. Imagine being this trashy AND liars. Hilarious if it werent so disgusting.Oh and the dealership said tsbs are just instructions for shops on how to fix things. They are not recalls and there are none for my car. Ha. Cant get anything right I guess.

Excellent and professional work done in a timely manner. They actually cut the cost from the estimate when they found the part needed was not as costly as expected. They could have charged me the full cost and kept the extra profits. But their honesty will bring me back for all my repair needs! Highly recommend.

In November of 2020, I came to this shop not knowing what I was about to get into, I took my car to 3 other shops prior and they misdiagnosed the issue!! They took their time to figure out the problem, found it and fixed it! They didnt try to price gouge me for it either. Ive had more issues since then, but theyve been fair and honest everytime Ive come back! KUDOS TO Darlene, Red, Tommy and the rest of the staff!! 5 STAR QUALITY!

Great shop. My daughter recently moved to GA. I called Priest because they were close to where she stays and she needed a part replaced. I ordered the part over the phone from NC. They scheduled the visit and got her in and out of there in great time and for a great price on labor. They took care of my baby and did good work.

Before bringing my car to Mr. Priest, I had work done by another shop in Marietta on Manget Street to replace knock sensors and harness. They charged me $200 more than the quote... They did horrible work. Left a screwdriver in my fan blade and engine compartment. Had to tow vehicle back. 2nd attempt was a failure also. They did not attach the carbon cannister vac hose and left many parts unattached and on valve covers. The check engine light would not clear that I paid them to clear. Mr. Priest looked under the hood and fixed my car FOR FREE! He and his son were so nice to me and my wife to help us get our emissions to pass. I would suggest them to anyone who wants QUALITY & HONEST work done right.

This is the best auto repair shop Ive ever been too. They are extremely trustworthy and go the extra mile to help you out. I come here for oil changes (which are a great price) but recently had them check my car out due to a warning light being on. They informed me that the part that needed to be fixed was under warranty. Darlene at the front is so sweet and showed true and sincere care when it came to helping me. Very reasonably priced I needed a starter on an f350 diesel called a company in Acworth they said the starter was going to be almost $800 They could put it in for $125 I told them the part at the parts store was only $200 and they said we cant make we cant meet that price and they cannot take anything from me so we didnt call them back we called priest they told me how much it was for an hours labor. Then she told me that if I wanted to bring the part from wherever that they would accept it. Thats all I needed to know I brought it in there They did such quality and fair price that we added an oil change to it highly recommended

Great customer service. Brought in my Ram 1500 to have spark plugs and ignition coils replaced. They offered to personally give me a ride home if I wanted but i decide to sit and wait. The staff keep me up to date with what was going on with my truck and also brought out the old spark plugs to show me the condition of them. Will definitely come back for more services.

Best auto repair shop on the West side of town! They have always been great to me and even done service while I had to wait...twice on the same part they covered under warranty! I couldnt get an emissions last year because the emissions place computer couldt read my car and said it was the computer in the car and tried to get me to go to there place to get checked out, took it to Mr. Priest and he had Gary check it out and it was just a 5 amp fuse that had blown. Thats honest folks!

I have a 1970 Ford ranger and was quoted a price for new hedders. Even though the installation took more hours of labor to complete than what was quoted, I was still charged the agreed upon price! In a nutshell, very honest, great work and reasonable prices...read on for more detail...We recently moved to the Cedarcrest area. My wife had taken her car to a different shop near our home because it was making a pretty substantial noise; THAT shop (I wont say the name, but its really close to the CEDARCREST/crossroads area) told her that BOTH the alternator and water pump were bad, as well as the serpentine belt, and all needed to be replaced...the estimate was about $1200. Something about the detailed estimate didnt sit right with me...primarily that my belt had been recently (20k miles) replaced and the alternator was $300 (price was for part ONLY, not including labor). Being relatively new to the area I didnt know where else to take it for a second opinion.I asked around and a coworker of mine, who had lived in the area his whole life, recommended Priest-Holcomb. The online reviews were good, so I decided to take shot.I could tell right away this was a family run shop, they were friendly and easy to deal with. I left my car with them and my wife and I went to run some errands. A few hours later they called me back and said that the alternator was failing, but there was NOTHING wrong with my water pump or serpentine belt. The cost, out the door, was a little under $300...less than the other place wanted for their part ALONE!They dont have a fancy shop or 20 flat screen TVs in the waiting room, but they do good repair work at a reasonable price...and most of all, they dont try to take advantage of you. My wifes car runs fine now and I have found a mechanic for everything going forward.

Y’all have some great reviews I need to bring my 98 mustang by.. I’ve just been havin a hard time with it recently.. it barely comes around corners in the rain an for some reason it goes dead as soon as you turn the car off. It takes about a hour or so to start up again

Very honest people. Took my truck here today 12-6-17 told them what I thought was wrong with it. ( which wouldve cost a whole lot more) but they found where noise was actually coming from and even took me back and showed me. They even ask if I was gonna take truck and fix myself but since they were so honest which is really hard to find nowadays I let them go ahead and fix it for me. Pay it forward. These guys are the bomb. Ive had my truck in there 4 times now. Once for engine swap that took a week or 2 to complete. Ms. Darlene works the office and she called me every day to give me an update and tell me what other parts I needed (engine mounts, hoses, etc.) They even saved all the old parts and showed me that they were bad. I had my truck towed to them once and they had me up and running that same afternoon. Ive seen the way they treat other customers as well. Theyre not going to take advantage of you if you dont know anything. They will give you options and If you ask them to fix something that isnt broken, they will tell you its not broken. Theyll still change it if you want of course but they will tell you if you really need it first. Theyve done this with me and Ive seen them do it with at least 3 or 4 other customers as well.Theyre very honest people and a family owned business. Ms. Darlene will give you fair and accurate quotes. The guys in the shop are a bunch of good ol boys who will answer your questions and address your concerns. Theyre not your shady mechanics who are gonna try to upsell an air filter and offer to change your blinker fluid for free if you buy their brand of oil.My truck is my best friend and I am not a rich man. They understand both of these statements and treat me and my truck accordingly.

Had my suv towed there, i could not get it running. Within the day they told me that i had an intake manifold leak. Fixed it promply. Was still acting up and took back. They then found an ignition coil was bad and only charged me for the part. They then offered me a free oil change for them not catching it the first time. Thank you guys so much! My wife says that it is running better than it has in years.
