Can’t believe this place has been down here this whole time. Really good food and a vast selection of beer. The tables are nice and clean and the atmosphere here is extra chill. The staff had a cool vibe too. Our food did not take long at all and they were attentive. Pleasant experience for sure.Also there is free parking. This place is awesome.Thank you to Kendall for the effort and hospitality. We will be back!

Cool location, decently priced beers & the while theres not any food you can get some cool local treats like Chips & Dude, Sweet Chocolate or order from next door. The long bench style seating is great for big parties, but my pro tip is probably dont wear a dress unless you want people to see your panties, if youre cool with flashing skirt it up. Overall pretty cool place to spend a few hours before catching a show in Deep Ellum or get a group together for beers & board games.

Great local watering hole. A well curated beer list and quiet cliental mean its the perfect place to explore a new beer and have a conversation or read a book. Good menu is limited but everything you want at a bar (soft pretzels and great beer cheese? - check!). A strong recommend for a lazy afternoon.

This venue closes at 11:45. The website or window signage should not say closes at 12 if I cant get a beer at 11:45. I have never used a bike share program until tonight just so as to make sure I got here in time and to no avail. If your taps stop pouring, the open sign should be off.

Always a nice beer selection, and now with food - its a solid go-to in the Fair Park area.

Met up with a friend at this place. As a wine drinker, I was glad to see they have about 6 diff wines to choose from. The Olema pinot noir was my choice and i enjoyed thoroughly with some wings and brussel sprouts. Look forward to coming again to try the hummus.

Beer selection and service are amazing. Huge selection of many styles of beer. Food service kinda slow, as they are just beginning their food. Quality of food is good and tasty. Give then a couple weeks and it will be all great.

Been around for a good amount of time. This is a great place to eat and drink. They have added a new kitchen as well as a new chef Peter. Try the Juicy Lucille and Greek salad. Just wow!! I also got a glass of False Idol Trust Fund Baby. What a great pairing. The Lucille is a burger modeled from Minnesota burgers. It contains cheese inside. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I recommend it!

Great selection with average prices this is the place to try out cool craft beers. Excellent vibes in here. Street parking in the area. Also close to a dart stop. Service is good even when they get busy. Not the best neighborhood to walk at night alone.

We visit Craft & Growler about 3 times a week. The crew is wonderful! They are knowledgeable about the beer they serve and can help with suggestions when you want to try something new. They are a funny group and incredibly nice! They have a live tap list on their website and the digital pour app, so you can always see what is available before you head in. You should also check out their social media pages because they have weekly deals for to-go growler fills. There is bar seating and then several large tables for singles to large groups.

This place is a hidden gem I don’t know my beers but as far as spacious bars with a local chill environment it’s perfect. It wasn’t crowded when I went and they have board games so that’s a bonus. Skip deep ellum and come here!

I’ve been coming to CG since it opened a few years ago. The staff is amazing, and might be one of the best parts of this place! The beer selection is always on point and great about letting you try before you commit to a beer. I’m seeing a lot of reviews about how long it took to get served because the staff was busy.....uh yeah that happens here BECAUSE THEY ARE BUSY. Cut these guys some slack and try to put yourself in their position. It’s not easy serving a full bar of people, and patience goes a long way. LOVE THIS PLACE!!!

Awesome craft beer bar. Robert (manager) is extremely knowledgeable in the beers and was able to fit the taste of 4 distinct peoples taste buds. Spent over an hour with our group and educated us on do much. This will be a regular spot when we are in the area.

Staff is the best! Normally no rowdy crowds here (exception is the fair!)The staff is knowledgeable, down to earth, friendly, and totally adapt to your tastes. I have seen them interact with a diverse set of customers and they never disappoint. I have seen them greet all customers that walk in as if the were old friends. Adam (bartender) and their GM (I never get his name!) are great people. They will talk your ear off (about beer) if you ask questions, or they will leave you alone if youre just trying to enjoy a beer on your own! Its a place for everyone.

Pros- beerBeer here is excellent!Cons:Food- the food is mediocre at best. I wouldnt eat here again. Pretty sure the chicken was microwaved. You can see into the kitchen and the cook doesnt wear a hairnet which is concerning.Service- You must order at the bar, which is only a problem if you have more than 5-10 people in the bar. To get a refill or to tab out... You can be waiting 15 mins.Ambiance- bar was silent for a good 30 mins while we were there. No background music or anything... But in the bartenders defense, she was slammed and didnt have time to change it after the football game was over.

Great beer, chill environment, friendly bartenders. The decor is wood with a comfy kind of rustic but clean feel and they have a lot of games (jenga, pick up sticks, cards, board games, etc). If you need a table you can reserve it ahead of time for free.

I love this place. If you like craft beer and want to try a variety, this is a great spot. Bring your growler or purchase one there because you will want to take some home with you. Fun place to hand out and have a beer or two with friends.

They have an amazing selection of beers on tap, and the service is absolutely incredible. Its rare to find a bar that brings out water as soon as you sit down and then continues to refill that water anytime you run out, but they do that here. The bartenders are really friendly and will help you select a beer if you ask. The atmosphere of this place is also really cool. Its quiet and dimly-lit, so Id highly recommend it for a date location.

Such a cool spot! I found it when I first moved to the DFW area and have regularly visited since. The staff are always super friendly--and they wont lie to make a sale. Ive heard them have plenty of negatives about some beers they carry, and the honesty is appreciated. We cant all like everything, and theres sure to be duds somewhere in the enormous and ever-rotating selection they carry. The prices are much cheaper than if you got bottles--just make sure youre the type who can (or have friends that can help) finish off the whole growler before it goes bad.

Awesome place with a HUGE selection. They sell a number of different growlers and have every kind of beer you could imagine. There is no food here, but they allow you to bring in or order in from the places close by.

This was a great find. Craft and Growler has a cool look with some great artwork. The beer selection is on point, the staff is helpful, and they have some of the coolest growlers Ive ever seen! Definitely worth checking out to grab a beer and growler (drink there or take it home).

This place is awesome. 42 taps of hard to find beers, delivered through a tap system that will make the beer last longer. The people are cool, the atmosphere is great. Anyone that loves beer should go pick out their favorite growler, fill it up with something tasty (I am a fan of Peticolas), or sit and enjoy a beer at the bar. Brilliant!

The beer selection here is one of the best in Dallas! The menu changes constantly and they always seem to get those hard to find beers. The location isnt in the coolest part of town, but its worth the trip. The interior is nice, the atmosphere relaxed, and the beer is top notch.

My absolute favorite growler filling station/ beer bar in Dallas. Staff and knowledgeable and friendly, venue is never too crowded, and environment is nice and relaxed. If you want to try a whole bunch of different stuff, this is the place to come. (Cant beat the prices either)

I dont understand all the fuss, took ages to get served. They do have a great selection, but there are many other places I would go to with less of a selection to get nicer quicker service.

Love this place. Giant tables, tons of beers and music is kept to a low, conversational value. If you want to go out and actually hear what the people youre hanging out with are saying, this is one of the few spots in Dallas.

Old Downtown Dallas style without the crowd. On par with the Bluffview Growler. Good food choices available from local sourced places like Pizza Lounge and Expo Bar. DART gets me here and back too. (Dont drink and drive.) The Big D spot for craft beer. For reference, the Medilsum Moth is 5 stars.

On a hot Summer day I highly recommend Jacks Lemon Ale.

The last two years we have done work info sessions here and it has been a great space for mixing and mingling alongside great beer. Parking can be a challenge when you have an event with a heavy turnout, but I doubt that is an issue on a normal day. A little off the beaten path for many, but the beer and environment are worth the trek.

Visited 02/24/16. Surprisingly, the place didnt have that much of an atmosphere. The layout is nice, and their pours are all reasonably priced ($5 each for a 6-oz. snifter and 10-oz. glass of appropriate beers) for what you get. Do clarify what you are getting, though. I went for a keep-the-growler event, and my beer request filled it only halfway before the keg died. The guy who was serving me said we could work something out and pro-rate it for how much was in the growler. He then suggested I could also have that poured into a 32-oz. take-home growler (a tiny-milk-jug-looking container) for a charge for the container and put something else in the growler. I didnt care for either of the other two keep-the-growler beer options but he had said hed work with me so I went with it. I didnt realize until later when the itemized bill came that I was charged for a 32-oz growler fill plus the take-home milk-jug (plus the growler and two drinks Id actually ordered). From a business standpoint, there is nothing wrong with this, as that is effectively what happened, however thats not an interpretation of working with someone Id have expected, considering the other option was to pro-rate down the cost of the filled growler. So, I did like the place, but I learned that I should not be so trusting and need to clarify things more. Nothing dishonest took place, but I feel that I was led on into an unwanted upsell.

Dallas original growler bar/tap room, located in the former site of the legendary Millenium antique shop on the corner of Parry and 1st. Directly across from the State Fair Music Hall, the renovated space has a bar with approx. 40 taps, a large selection of growlers of many types, a solid selection of bombers, some glassware, swag. A large number of tables, benches, and sofas with excellent views of the adjacent Fair Park and the Cotton Bowl. Consistently well-constructed choice of beers--both local, regional, and national. Some of the more esoteric choices can be pretty expensive, and there are, in truth, other less expensive, growler shops in town, but no other local shop can match the steady supply of exclusive and imaginative offerings. Happy Place for Peticolas Brewing fans, with multiple selections always available.

Lots of taps to choose from and tvs to watch. Not a ton of parking, at least free parking. It is a cool location though.
