I use Monticello Liquor for all of my events (which as a party planner, is monthly!) They not only offer incredible selections at great prices, their customer service is above and beyond! I can not recommend them enough!

Happened to see this place while out. Based on photos I knew it was worth visiting. I was pleased at how warm and transparent the staff was. (Thanks Scott!) My experiences have taught me that I should appreciate a store that doesn’t try to get over on people and has a quality selection. This is a store I greatly appreciated. The store owner allowed me to sample items as well which was a unique experience. Their knowledge base helped me to feel confident that I was buying the right bottle. I will be back.

Best liquor store in Dallas...Easy parking and the staff is super knowledgable. If I am going to this store I am needing a specific gift for a certain special client. The staff always knows just what I need to wow my client. (this is important when you dont know a ton about wine/champagne!) Ricky even helped load the cases into my car. A Plus!! Will be back soon!

This is a great neighborhood liquor store. The staff are always welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly. A much better experience than a big box store. I definitely recommend!

Super helpful employees. They helped me pick out some new tequilas that I hadn’t tried yet and also gave me a couple of tastes. Very friendly. And as always I prefer to support local businesses instead of chains.

I love coming here! The staff always greets me with a warm smile and they are so helpful. Also, they sell soju! Flavored soju at that! I have a hard time finding it so that was a pleasant surprise. I wanted to share a special occasion with my daughter and her husband who were buying their first home. She is a first responder in Dallas and the pandemic has been tough for all of us but especially her. Her Dad and I live 200 miles away and could not be with her so I called Ricky last night and he delivered a bottle of Champagne this morning just before they signed the papers for us to be able to celebrate this great occasion with them! Thank you Ricky for helping make a parents day, going above and beyond and allowing us to show our kids how proud of them we are!!!

Called to say I was around the corner. Showed up at 9pm on the dot and the locked the doors already. Literally walked out locking up ask I’m outside. Not saying I was on time but could have cared a little more considering I was there. Guy told me to “have a good night” as he locked up knowing I was the one that called saying I was coming around the corner.

The owner is a gentle soul who is wise in the arts of yoga and meditation and shared his vast knowledge of essential oils with me during my visit. He anointed me with jojoba oil and smudged my shakras with sage he picked himself during his time in Rowanda working in the peace corps. Very happy customer here. I went in there for the first time. I had called previously about Moonshine and the guy, Joe, was very nice.He explained what is moonshine, and history and asked to come by if I had further questions.Today I went in. Joe attended to me. Showed me the moonshine selection and gave some recommendations. However, was not pushing a sale.I did buy the punch moonshine.While I am not a drinker, I went there for christmas gifts.The selection, prices, and service was great.

The owner is super friendly and the staff is always helpful. The website shows many items that they sell but not everything. Browsing their shelves I found a lot more selection than I thought they had. You can always call and ask if they carry something specific. Prices are average to any other liquor store. They have a wider variety of beer than I thought they had incuding a good selection of IPAs.. If you visit often and dont find what you need, make a request because theyre open to ordering it if they can.

All the employees were nice and helpful. They even offered to hold my bottles while I searched for others. Even more, they complimented my fresh hairstyle.

I was searching everywhere this Christmas for a bottle of 25 year old Highland Park scotch. I couldnt find it anywhere locally except at Monticello. While I was there I also found a lovely cigar and had a nice chat with the staff. It was an excellent experience and I will be back. Highly recommend.

When I had a problem with a nice bottle of red and went back, the owner/manager offered me a lime. Im not kidding - a lime. All I wanted was an exchange or some other solution. Dont buy any nice wines here - if the bottle is corked or otherwise bad, the best youll get is a free lime. lol.

I had been trying to find a rare liquor bottle Amrut Single Malt Whiskey but wasnt able to find anywhere in Dallas and this was the only place that had it! Definitely seem to have a good collection of rare hard to find liquor! The owner was very friendly too.

One of the cashiers placates friendlyness and service. I guess the more youre willing to spend and the least particular you are...the better you will be treated. Yes its a business but we deserve more for our money. Shop around.

Visited very briefly. I walked around and found a brandy I was willing to try. I walked up to The counter and presented my ID and payment. The cashier wouldnt check me out. She said my debit card needed a chip in it. Walked outside and the Caucasian gentleman who checked out ahead of me told me hes checked out before with a credit card without a chip. So I went back into the store to ask why they allowed the other customer to use a card without a chip and they said it was a new store policy... Maybe one they only choose to enforce on African American customers ONLY.... Maybe, maybe not but theyll never get my green money
