Loved my experience here!! Open late, so clean, the staff is so helpful and friendly, the store has literally everything and the food is so tasty. Definitely coming back!! :)

I have been to this place around 10 times for lunch and I keep giving them another chance because I live down the street. The vibe is awesome, the food is not. They consistently don’t know their own menu and repeatedly mess up my order.Overpriced, takes forever, low quality food and service.

This place is a hidden gem. I needed a quick bite before heading into work and decided to try an acai bowl. I had seen them many times before at other places but never ordered one.It was absolutely delicious. Very fresh.And healthy.I also ordered the Turkey Rancher. Awesome recommendation.The employee who greeted me (who I assume to be the owner) was full of energy and excitement about the things in the store.They also have grocery items they sell.Go there and try things!

On 07/17/2021 at 5:15 pm the slim very short young lady at the acai counter was very very very rude. the tall men at the other counter was very very VERY VERY rude. NEED SOME CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING!!!!!

Some assembly required. Waited a hour to pick up a online order. I ordered a grilled cheese, that wasnt even toasted, just some lightly warmed up cheese on bread. I went home heated up a pan and finished cooking it. It was really good after it was actually toasted on both sides. Check the before and after pics I attached. Weak sandwich game for a Bodega.Edit: See attached receipt, I did not get anything free, I paid for all the extras I requested.

First time here and we are very pleased with the service and our Acai bowl was completely AMAZING!! 😋 Owner walked us through our selections and was veryfriendly. Will definitely be back again!

Wow! Blown away by this bodega and the superb customer service! Cameron was so knowledgeable and great with açaí bowl, he constructed the most delicious one for me! He did have unnerving eye contact but in a good reassuring way :) I felt like I was in tulum eating the açaí bowl, I wish I could live here and just eat this 😅😎👹😌💯

Love this place! Fresh, delicious food and amazing customer service. You can grab a meal, a drink, and different grocery items. You will probably end up hanging out talking to the owner or someone else who works there because they are so friendly and inviting. Definitely worth making this place a consistent go to!

Bodega is so convenient as I live in the same building. I only went there twice as I am new here, the guy is so nice and friendly.Lunch sandwich was good, the place is a bit pricy for the grocery goods, but when you want a jar of a marinara source at 9pm for your night pasta during lockdown, it is a great solution lolI have to yet try other items on the menu!

One of the best hidden gems in Dallas! Great people who always greet you when you walk in, good beers on tap or to go, and an dope food menu.Highly recommend their pizzas or the turkey rancher sandwich but they’re all good portions and reasonably priced.Awesome neighborhood feel and one of the best parts about living in the Design District.

The Cuban Sandwich was very good, and held up well as I was eating and walking. The tater tots were not the best though perhaps would work well if eaten immediately inside. There was a little confusion with the staff but I had the sandwich in hand within 15 minutes.

Very unprofessional - store hours are bogus they’re never open on time and close randomly. The hours on the door and Google are wrong. Food is amazing and they have the potential but if you can’t rely on them to be open then what’s the point? And don’t bother trying to call cause no one picks up.

Very convenient place if you need to just pop by to pick something up from the store. If you arent short on time though, the food from the grill is worth the short wait. The atmosphere makes it an enjoyable experience and the beer on tap is a great addition too. I make it a point to stop by whenever Im in the area.

Convenient with a great vibe and awesome food. Burgers are handmade and the grilled cheese is to die for! Fresh ingredients and everything is made to order. Can’t wait to go back and try the Cuban sandwich!

In Downtown Dallas but needing a cool spot to enjoy a quick lunch and drink? The Bodega at Hi Line has all you need to be well on your way from beverages, hot food cooked on the spot, essentials like toothpaste and even COVID masks to help prevent the spread! Cant talk more highly of the staff here too. The owner David is always there making sure things are running smoothly and treats you like family.

Great atmosphere with a genuine staff to make you feel at home. Very quick friendly environment with a great menu to choose from. I definitely would recommend this to anybody in the downtown Dallas area. The opening hours were always convenient for me. Hope you can enjoy the same experience I did going there.

Love the Bodega! This place has the coolest vibe, the friendliest staff, breakfast anytime, chess, delicious açaí bowls, and ALL my favorite CBD beverages!! Sometimes I just go by to chill and have a Night Rider cold brew coffee at the counter and soak up all the good vibes there. The Bodega is a hidden GEM in big D!

I absolutely LOVE this place! Super cool atmosphere, great service, and delicious food! One of the owners, Tuck, is such a cool guy. He never fails to provide outstanding service to all of The Bodegas guests and Tuck also cooks up a MEAN fried rice with chicken! Keep up all the great things yall are doing with the place and if you havent visited yet, youre most definitely missing out!

David the Owner is a great guy! He is passionate about what his store provides to the local residents of Downtown Dallas. His store has great food, local beer, and snacks. What we loved most was the story behind the Bodega with its handcrafted furniture and unique setting. Definitely a place to host your event, have lunch, or just grab a few items if you live in the Amli or Katy Trail! GO SEE DAVID!!

The service and convenience is 5 stars all the way but.... I only came for the chopped cheese. Ive been looking tirelessly for a chopped cheese sandwich that mimics those found in NYC. Yes, I go every quarter before the obvious idiot suggests that I go there 😒 . Just as a courtesy to those NYers looking for our sandwich, this isnt it.

The reason I gave this 3 stars is because of the guy at the front counter had bad service skills. He looked young and probably doesn’t know how to communicate well, but I asked for a menu or something to look at the options and just ignored me. I then saw a small bored with the letters already coming off and you couldn’t really tell what was what. I asked him another question about the menu options and he simply replied “naw” then pointed for next person to come up. Maybe coaching him on how to interact with customers would be great. Other than that very clean place, people who were stocking up goods welcomed me, and loved the environment. Maybe I’ll come back again and receive better service cause I would really love to try the food.

Bodega at Hi Line is literally my favorite place ever. Weather it’s picking up Knight Rider Coffee in the morning or coming in for the quesadillas for lunch, this is the place to be. They also have a huge wine and champagne section with great prices and specials. David (the owner), takes a ton of pride in his new Dallas concept and the customer service and home vibe they give is unmatched. My personal fav is the Terrazas Altos Chardonnay and a chicken quesadilla with their homemade tomatillo sauce. AMAZING!!

Really friendly staff and good vibes all around. Came here on a visit from New York for an authentic Chopped Cheese and sandwiches. Cool place to just hang out get some food and other necessities. Would recommend for anybody in town!

Such a cool spot to go to in Dallas. A lot of the products are local and you can really get a sense of what Dallas has to offer here. Oh and the cuban sandwich is bomb!!

Super, crazy, mad freaking cool spot! The people are welcoming, the space comfortable. The vibes are pure and positive and THE FOOD IS GOOOOOOOOOD!! Also they have a number of diffrent healthy things that may be new to you. Its a MUST visit!!

Dined here multiple times during my visit to Dallas.Im not the type to hold back when I try a new restaurant so I ended up ordering quite a lot of food.Pizza - larger diameter than most personal pizza spots Ive been to. Crust was on point and pepperoni had that nice spice kick that pizza pepperoni often lacks compared to pepperoni found on sandwiches/charcuterie boards.Ultimate breakfast sandwich - probably my favorite item that I tried (breakfast food is the best kind of food, dont @ me). The eggs and the jam were the highlights of the sandwich for me. I think its served all day, which is always a plus.Italian hero - as noted in the pizza review above, their pepperoni is absolutely on point. This carries over into the Italian hero.Turkey rancher - not much of a turkey guy, so this was probably my least favorite but if youre into turkey sandwiches then this is for you. The bolo roll & the micro veggies really sets this apart from other turkey sandwiches.Fries - amazing. I usually dont like thicker fries because it just feels like Im eating a thing of baked potatoes, but theyve got the size down to a good ratio between crunchiness on the outside and potatoe-y on the inside. The seasoning is a cherry on top (not literally).They also have a good selection of vegetarian items, but I didnt order them because Im not a rabbit. (Just kidding, I applaud the vegetarians for being able to cut out meat; we definitely eat too much of it as a species). If the other menu items are of any indication, Id imagine their vegetarian options are delicious as well.Other than the kitchen items, they have a solid selection of convenience shop items (snacks, basic household items, tobacco products, etc). They also had coffee, juices, and pastries from local vendors. Im not much of a juice guy (Id rather just eat the fruit its derived from) so I cant speak on the juices, but being the coffee and pastry fiend that I am, I enjoyed their selection on those products.TL;DR - wide selection of kitchen & shop items, delicious hot food and locally sourced products. Highly recommended.
