Everyone here is super nice and friendly. I’ve been here twice and always leave happy. The best thing here by far is the Steakcon and the Wagyu Hotdogs… those two things alone will honestly change anyone’s life!

Amazing service, and there are a few tables with people hanging out and chatting. Beer on tap and different drinks available as well. The butcher actually answered all our questions with details on how to cook it, for how long, on which fire and up to which temperature... As well as where the cow was from, how they raise most of the animals that they end up selling and what theyve done to make it to such a position of pride and great service. I cant recommend this place more.Oh, and by the way, the piece of Ribeye that we bought is, still to date, the best piece of grilled meat I have EVER tasted. Thank you so very much.

We are new to TX someone suggested we try this place. We did. On the day we stopped in there were 4 employees two whites and two black men behind the counter. I didn’t get a sense of welcoming from the woman at the register yet she was helpful in answering my husbands questions. What we ordered was delicious and we sat out back while we ate our sandwiches. I’m torn because of the lack of welcoming I can’t say I’d return or even recommend this place. I’m not sure, maybe I’ll try them one more time and see then, I’ll come back and update this review, how’s that. The stars are strictly for the food not the service.Oct- 27 I’m back with an update ok so we have been back here a couple of times since my original post. The service has improved some, this time there was a tall white man behind the counter who was quite engaging and friendly the food is really good, pricey yet good. Let’s increase the stars now.

This place is greatness. It had been on my mind to checkout and so I dropped by to pick up a steak for dinner. They recommended a cut that I hadnt tried before -- chuck flap. It looked like a mini strip with really beautiful marbling.Cooked it in cast iron over medium-high for 4.5 minutes on each side. Kosher salt and a small slab of Irish butter.It was one if the best butchered steaks that I have had in a long time. Good work and thank you for the recommendation.

We recently engaged the Meat Shops catering service for a corporate dinner at my CEOs house. When I mentioned that I might be looking for some event rentals, Kelli jumped right in and helped me execute every step of the planning and configuration. She was the consummate professional and extremely patient and creative with last minute requests and changes. The food was absolutely incredible and received rave reviews from my entire team. The atmosphere she and her talented team created was absolutely magical. We couldnt be more delighted with our service and will definitely be booking them again!

Great new local butcher shop. The meat is expensive but exceptional, and the staff is very willing to help guide you. I bought some steaks that I took to a party and everyone was very impressed with the taste and quality. I will be making this a regular place for nice steaks.

So I am a huge chef, and I have a nice smoker, and I’m incredibly used to going to barbecue places and having the food honestly be not quite as good as I can make it home. This place blows everything I can make out of the water, 100 percent would come again.The raw cuts are also superb as well, the bacon was very good. I think I just found my first local butcher worth my time in Dallas.

Great selection of pre-cooked and raw meats. Sides were really good too. The brisket was great and was the best re-heated brisket Ive ever had, although admittedly thats not a tall bar to clear. The pimento cheese was smokey and spicy, I recommend that as well. Well be back.

I was so excited to find a LOCAL butcher, but disappointed that they didnt have grass fed beef. I love beef but I like the healthy version, which is grass fed with the omega 3s etc. I wanted to try the wagyu, but the guy told me its grain fed/fattened for the last 6 months! That destroys the benefits of being grass fed earlier in life. I dont want beef that has been fattened on grain -- thats exactly what Im trying to avoid. Back to Burgundy Local for me.The wagyu cows may be treated better than the poor cattle jammed into feed lots, so thats a plus in my book. I will say they were friendly and word is their prepared food is good, so for a restaurant outing I would eat there, but not the grain fed stuff for day to day nutrition.

I had one of their new hero sandwiches. The lamb was flavorful but too fatty. It did not have quite the right mixture of Greek spices and the ziziki sauce was too sparsely applied. So many of my friends rave about this place, so I will definitely be back to try something else. Maybe Greek lamb is not their expertise.

Great little spot, nice patio out back with picnic tables and corn hole set up. Their sandwiches are amazing and the selection of wagyu beef is great! They also serve beer and wine so come in and stay for a while.

Great little butcher shop with a nice deck, picnic tables, and corn hole out back. We split the charcuterie board with friends and they had 6 beers on tap and select wines. The pastrami sandwich was greatness! Brought home tubs of the smoked potato salad and pimento cheese and it was all done really well.

Outstanding brisket hoagie for lunch today. Looking forward to buying high quality meat too. Duroc pork, yes please.
