I don’t leave many reviews but felt like I just needed to for this place. This was my go-to place when living in Dallas and I would send everyone their way. Now being states away…it’s still my go-to spot and I not just have their candles shipped to me! Love is an understatement for this place.

Absolutely loved this candle shop! Cole, the girl that welcomed us in made our whole experience such a positive one. She was extremely attentive and helpful, telling us everything we need to know about the candles and what makes them so unique. I loved the No. 8!

So many amazing smells that we walked away with 4 different candles. The vibe of this shop was so on point and I look forward to burning our No. 10 and Texas candle made by Society by Jackson Vaughn.

Very cute shop, amazing scents and candle smells, but pretty pricey products.

Tried shopping today for items I needed, but they didn’t clearly want my money or business, since they never unlocked the front door. There was an employee that set out and watered plants then went back in and locked the door. Website hours say 11am, I tried the door at 1130am, called twice and nothing. I drove away at 1207pm. Bad for business, no sign on the door, nothing! I’ll go elsewhere.

Small, but powerful smelling candle shop. They sell a couple of well known brands of high end candles as well as the house brand. I picked up a soy candle and one by tatine. They were enforcing a 4 person limit in the store due to covid, but some patrons were ignoring this.

Society is simply one of the best retail shops in the Bishop Arts District. Their selection of candles is unparalleled. They have something for everyone. My personal favorite is candle No. 5 with notes of Fresh Cut Lavender, Thyme, and Basil. Exceptional!

The No.2 candle is a constant favorite in our house. The Dallas candle is a close second. Society reminds me of a wonderful candle store I loved as a child in Houston at Westbury Square.

This place is quaint and quirky! My favorite type of shop. I love the variety of scents. I was able to get a unique gift for my sister.

Best candle smell sampling experience Ive had! Sample candles have glass bells over them, so you can lift and smell the scent in the bell! I bought some unique candles here as gifts for my family back in Illinois.

Not only is this place a little piece of heaven in store form but the customer service is beyond helpful. I called to purchase some candles for my sisters bday and they were so patient and helpful through the whole process. Robin (at your Preston store) and Laura (in the Bishop Arts store) really took the time to really make sure everything went smoothly. I cant say enough good things about them, best customer service Ive had in a long time! Super refreshing to see. These girls deserve a raise!

If you love candles and alchemy this store is ideal. With a more than vast collection of scents, tonalities, essences, expressions this store is the best and place Ive found (in Dallas) for high quality candles. They also sell soaps and lotions and candle accessories. A beautiful store.

Lovely locally handcrafted fragrances ranging from yoga mat spray and perfume to incense and candles that will satisfy a wide variety of preferences. The ingredients are eco friendly (essential oils), not animal tested, and part of the proceeds go to benefit animals.

I am in love with this place. The coziness of the space, the friendliness of everyone here and its an aromatic massage for your nose. I was introduced to the Society candles here and I have purchased 3 since my first visit.

Love this store, can get very busy at the weekend and during the hoiliday season. Amazing selection of candles from many different suppliers. TIP if like us you didnt know this: smell the jar, not the candle :)

Used to be a fabulous store but new people work there who seem more interested in making it a basic candle store than anything special. I’ll just order online.

Great store and products. Friendly and helpful staff.

Gets kind of cramped when there are more than 6 people in the shop, but I always love getting to explore inside. I’ve bought several candles of the JV brand and they never disappoint.

That No9 candle is amazing!!!! Ive been a Yankee candle buyer for years, this is a nice additional place for me to go and get candles. They also, deliver!!!!!
