I saw a 2020 Ford F150 XLT with 9500 miles about 5 months ago. The price was good but needed to see actual photos of the truck. Chris Barrett took pictures and sent them to my cell phone. Flew in from California and the truck looked as advertised. Took it for a test drive and everything checked out. Gave Chris the cashiers check and drove home. 5000 miles later and everything is still great, they even threw in an extra key (it only had one). Very happy with my purchase and saved a bundle compared to California prices. Thanks Chris for all you help.
I bought a 2017 hyuandai elantra - CERTIFIED With a warranty of their choice & my deductible at 250$ - the car sale price was 8500$ after they put on taxes & the warranty of 2775.00 & the gap ins - the price leaving the lot was 11, 500.00That i was told was financing & all through wells fargo! 0 down & payments affordable i was so happy! Since the 1st of march the overflow jug didnt have a cap on it at all, no antifreeze in overflow jug which they did fix that - BUT I. Was suppose to get a new windshield because it had a crack that was right in middle of front windshield & also the undercarriage engine splash shield was bowed & after lookimg it was. Zip tied all way down front so that also was promissedto be fixdd because the car was certified & it came to me like this! But covid19 & excuses & the guy who sold me the car - LEE just saidSorry - well he promised these things would be taken care of, & now hes sorry! I waited up in front of hertz car salds for 2 hours waiting for someone from hyuandai to come & look @ my engine splash shield cover & noone ever showed up! This is such a dissapointment because i havent had a.newish car in 22 years & im sure this will be my last one! Hertz needs to take care of the customers that have purchased a car & been pd in full 4 it!
Salesman Lee was very nice and personable. I bought one child a car there 2 yrs ago and was getting another child one now. I asked what total out the door price was and that I was a repeat customer hoping for a couple hundred dollars loyalty bucks maybe? Cash deal, no finance. Numbers submitted to “manager” and purchase price came back....not one penny discount. I just got up and walked out. My advice would be to expect price listed plus TTL and $150 doc fee without any lower consideration. Needless to say, my 2nd and 3rd children will get their cars elsewhere. Too many used cars out there to be treated like that.
Hertz Car Sales is the place to buy your next car, hands down! We bought one at the Irving location a couple of months ago and had such a great experience, we thought wed give them another go. I started just looking around online, found a couple of cars I liked and filled out my info. Elvis contacted me quickly, I told him what I wanted, and after a few emails and phone calls he had everything ready to roll - before I even got there. They even let me send pictures of my trade in! I changed my mind on the car last minute, and it was not a problem at all. We were there maybe 2 hours total including test drive AND switching cars. These guys were super easy to deal with, friendly, accommodating, and honest. The pricing is not only no haggle and hassle free, but also seems to be quite a bit lower than most of their competitors. I cant imagine buying anywhere else. If you want to argue about pricing and waste an entire afternoon fooling with a car deal, then there is everyone else, but if you want your experience to be simple, honest, and straightforward, look no further. 100% recommended!
I worked with Elvis to buy my car. 2017 Hyundai Elantra SE, bought in 2019.Front passenger wheel cover was broken, inside was not cleaned and smelled like tropical air freshener with cigarettes. Ash was on the dash and where you shift.Back drivers side where the door closes is cracked near the bottom.They didn’t give me a second key, after two months we finally received the “second key”, which does not work for my car. Key pad or key. When I called about it they did not fix the issue.Because the key for my car cannot be copied at Walmart or any other general store, had to go directly to Hyundai.We have bought from hertz before, but I do not plan to buy another vehicle from them again.
DO NOT GO HERE!! They prey on the people whom they assume have bad credit, and will run your credit on whatever they se fit without your authorization. I applied for a car that cost 16,000, my credit was run instead on a car that cost 24,000. I then was informed that my down payment was 10,000 dollars, and it was not until after I told the sales person that I wanted to come in and make my down payment that I was informed of what they had done. That is now how you treat people and I would not recommend going here. Chris and Elvis, the sales consultant and the manager were also extremely rude and felt the need to yell at me via phone conversation. Do Not Go Here.
We are very pleased with our car buying experience. Our expectations were definitely exceeded and we are thankful to have worked with Elvis Below. He really went all out to make the car very nice for our daughter and she is thrilled with it! We wouldnt hesitate to do business with him again in the future.
I inquired about a vehicle on a Monday. Sent 2 requests for contact but never heard from anyone. I finally called and was told they had received my inquiries and it had been assigned to a salesperson who I won’t name because he may have performed well with other clients. The notes indicated he had tried to contact me via phone and e mail. Not true. No record of contact. When I spoke with him he said the vehicle was there. I told him I was very interested in it. We set up a firm appointment to see the car on Saturday. We confirmed again on Wednesday. Then Friday I get an e mail that simply stated the car had been sold. No explanation no call. I passed an opportunity on another vehicle because of this appointment. Unprofessional at all levels. A great customer experience brings you business and a poor one costs you business. Hertz will be fine without my purchase but to many situations like this will ultimately keep your ratings down.

Would not do any business with hertz anymore. I want to share my experience at hertz with yall. A few years back I bought a 2013 Toyota Camry and was very happy with the car, the price was right the car was right and even the whole car buying experience was great. Ive recommended several friends since who have bought cars there. So when I needed another vehicle for my wife hertz is where I looked. My wife test drove the highlander and loved it! So I went the next day to my bank to get pre-approved for a loan so I could purchase the vehicle. When it was time to send over the purchase order to the bank hertz increased the price by $4000 which took it up to 29990 from 25800 ( i included a snapshot of the original internet price) . So my wife and I were very disappointed. The main reason Ive bought from hertz in the past was because of the no haggle pricing, their transparency, and their inventory, aside from the inventory it seems like their ways have changed. If I knew I was being roped into a BAIT AND SWITCH game I would have gone to any other dealership to play that game. Hertz car sales has really left a bad taste in my mouth so me and my wife have taken a break from buying a car and would not do anymore business with them any more.

This was the best used car experience Ive ever had. Thank you Chris Barrett and his team! We knew we wanted a 2017 Jetta. Chis showed me what he had, and that was that! It was so quick and painless. We came from out of town. The car was exceptionally clean, from engine block to trunk! The test drive proved the car was in great shape and well maintained. They also provide an oil change before it sells. Tires had great thread as well. Undercarriage was immaculate.Because its a previous rental, do not expect floor mats or a second key. However, Chris researched if my car still had a second key. It did, so he requested it for me and I am awaiting its delivery. My car did have the original users guide in the glove box.
Everyone at Hertz Mesquite were great and very helpful. Walked in and walked out 2 hours later with a 2015 Chevy Spark. They got us a phenomenal interest rate. Lee was great and made this car buying experience effortless!

It would be 5 stars but I had to deduct 2 stars for follow up customer service. Beware that they sell cars in Texas without the front license bracket to place your front license plate as required by state law. My son took his car back to have them to have them mount the front plate and was told by the manager that since the sales rep that sold him the car was not there they would not provide a front bracket nor mount the plate as promised by the sales rep. He had been stopped by a Mesquite police officer on his way to the sales office and since they refused to assist him he had no choice but to go to Walmart and buy two screws and mount the license plate directly on the bumper. Way to go Hertz Sales! I wonder how you handle your warranties if this is how you handle after sales.

I had my son submit an online credit app to get him pre-approved as a first time buyer. The dealership calls me and asks when he can come in to sign the credit app for submitting. I explained to him the app HAD been signed digitally on their website and thus he can submit to get an approval before we drive an hour to get there. He then insisted we come in and sign the app and make sure we like the car before they do that. Apparently the person who claims to have been doing this for 13 years has not heard of getting a payment call and substituting collateral with the lender. NEWSFLASH- I was TRYING to tell you how to sell us a car but you want to do it YOUR way. Let me know how that works out for you. There are a LOT of dealerships between us and your store. If you want the usual run-around dealership games, by all means, go here. You wont be disappointed.
Bought the expensive warranty, but now that I need repairs I cant find a mechanic who even takes the warranty company.
Just bought a used Nissan with 33 thousand miles on it. Still under manufacture warranty.NO Haggle at its best. Their listed prices were lower than dealer lots. Im assuming thats because dealers build in haggle room, but I dont have the time in my life to waste just to get the feeling I worked hard to negotiate a deal or down.There was no pressure to buy. They were interested and helpful but show no hint pressure to sell.We were already driving a rental of this exact year and model so were able to compare the ride of their car vrs our rental with only 6000 miles on it.There was no difference between the two.Theirs was clean and rode smooth like the low mile rental we had.They fixed a few paint nicks on car and for $130 they have a locksmith onsite for 2 hrs a week who will make you a spare key fob. That less than half what dealers charge.This is the second time Ive bought a used car from a rental agency. The other was Enterprise.Both experiences were painless. Never thought Id buy a used rental car, but so far the experience seems far better than buying from a dealership or a stranger.

Came in from Oklahoma because Austin said the car was on the lot. When I arrived there, the 2016 dodge charger r/t wasnt there. The online site said the car was there for 24 days. Lee (one of the sales people) came and apologized. I was satisfied with that. Never again will I come back because I went ahead and bought a 2016 dodge challenger for a little more. Worse experience from this dealer and very ghetto looking.
Great Experience- I DO NOT DO CAR DEALERSHIPS. AT ALL. PERIOD. THE END. This was a great fast, no haggle, no pressure, no problem sales experience. I recommend Hertz if you are a stealership person. Car was listed over 2k below KBB. They had ample banks and I was able to drive away in my car in a total of about 2 hours. JC Barnett was fantastic. It took me all of 2 minutes to arrive and get in the car for a test drive. I would most positively purchase from them again. Thank you. I LOVE MY CAR!!

Even though we ended up purchasing a vehicle, the manager did not explain anything about what we were signing and was rushing us even though we waited for a long time to generate the documents even though we paid cash. It took less time at another dealership where we financed car. I even brought up about recalls and they said they could not sell a car with a recall yet it turns out there is a lawsuit regarding the vehicle which we did not know about.

I inquired by email about a particular car by VIN and description. The sales person located the vehicle and we made arrangements to travel (140 miles) to the dealer. Upon arriving the vehicle was waiting for the test drive and my inspection. We drew up the paperwork, ran the credit check (loan was pre-qualified), and shortly thereafter the sale was completed. The entire purchase price of the car was financed with no money down. There was no haggling, no attempt to sale unwanted extras, and everything went smoothly. Ive never had a better experience buying a car.

Absolutely horrible experience. Maybe theyre so used to renting they just dont know how to handle buying. The guy never bothered to get off of his lazy butt. He never tried to show me the car I was asking about. When i asked about the paint damage he said we dont put any money into the car until after you buy it... I honestly felt like this man genuinely did not want my money. Foolish on his part because with cash in hand, I was ready to walk away with the title.
My Aunt and Uncle, and Myself went three weeks looking for a car and every time we found one they sold it from under us. I wanted a KIA Soul and the ones we would find were very high mileage for a high price. We decided to just go in and see what Hertz had a few days later. Lee was so helpful and we walked out with a 2015 Nissan Versa Note! Purchasing was easy and they didnt charge a lot for TTL like dealerships who buy the rental cars they are now selling and rack up the prices. He put two new tires on it, filled it up with gas and even took it through the car wash for me. I love my new car (also first car) and i would recommend anyone to go to hertz and buying one of their vehicles ! Low millage with great price and new vehicles.

A total waste of time. The salesman Israel was great but the management is horrible. This was the worse customer experience i have ever had in my life!!! They attempted to sale me a Certified Preowned vehicle that was leaking gas!!!!! This is supposed to be a diamond dealer through Capital One Auto Finance Navigator but they are unprofessional and misleading. We test drove a 2nd car that ran out of gas before we left the parking lot. I plan on filing a complaint with Capital One about this so called Diamond Dealer they allow on their site, a BBB complaint and a letter will be sent to the State Attorney General.

1) I presented as a very, very, very meticulous, picky, and brooding possible-car-patron.2) Hertz was very, very, very patient with the very picky, brooding car patron.3) Their teammates take care of each other, i.e. context, the associate assigned to me was on flight on the day of my pick-up and the manager took care of me. And then, when I came in on a day-off, their other teammate took care of me when they were both away from keyboard.4) They took on making final polishes to car without additional charge @o@5) All the papers also good and good.6) It is clear as day on the website that no haggling at the store is allowed on the sticker price on the website. :))7) Ideal go-to for first-time car peoples who arent ready to do the big car thing yet.Shout out to Lee Wilson, Egor Ushakov and Richard and Mechanic. I took a friend here and the experience was awful. The car they were approved for had a gas leak but was marked certified. The 2nd car ran out of gas as she drove out the lot. One manager was so disrespectful and referred to my friend as dude.. Stay away from this place..

I was really disappointed with their services especially the finance manager. If he wasnt smoking cigarettes he was talking in riddles. We they ran credit they put ten hard inquiries on credit report. Which lower my credit score my score was in mid 600 now it is in mid 500. I did get a car from them but I will not recommend Hertz Car Sales in Mesquite to nobody.
