Amazing shop - the always changing in inventory and the revolving consigner items are just one of the many reasons this is a gem in the midst of the highland/university park.

A great place to find unique furniture

CONSIGNER BEWAREDo not consign with this seller, they do not take good care of your items! We attempted to consign a dining room table with Area 25. Upon retrieving the table after they cut short our contracted consignment period, we were horrified to find deep scratches on the table top and that the varnish was ruined on both of the leaves because they had been stored in a storage room with no air conditioning and had melted together. Our table will now need to be completely refinished. I suspect they wanted to get rid of the table quickly because of how badly they had damaged it. When we confronted the store with the damage they told us that it would cost “more to fix the table than it is worth” and they refused to take any responsibility for destroying our table. If you are looking to consign, don’t risk it. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else!

This is a shop that offers more traditional modern furniture. All nice quality. The pieces and accessories as clean lined to be sure. some are market samples and others are consigned. Prices can be a bit high.

I consigned several items through area 25 and had an amazing experience. The furniture was nice, but other stores were either declining to take them, or offering ridiculously less than the items were worth. Area 25 staff made it extremely easy. They also sold it for more than I was expecting, and did so extremely quickly! All in all I had a wonderful experience.

Highly recommended- very helpful staff for us interior design illiterate dudes out there.

Love the things they sell. I bought an Onyx bowl. It’s a beautiful piece of art. Everyone was super helpful and friendly. They even helped take the bowl to my car. Will shop here again!

All of these people writing reviews that state they supposedly witnessed an event where the store employees ridiculed a woman due to a crying child? Sorry, I dont believe them. I think theyre lying and trying to intimidate the store owner and employees. And if there really was a child crying excessively, GOOD FOR THEM FOR TRYING TO make the store a peaceful, quiet place. I dont go shopping to hear screaming children.

This didn’t happen to me but I witnessed A family getting told to get out the store and A worker told the woman to take that (referring to her infant son) out of their store! That was THE MOST DISGUSTING THING IVE EVER SEEN! From that I will never go there again, I caution anyone who goes here. I wish I could give them A 0

My wife brought my here, shopping for our new home in Dallas. Love the unique quality of the pieces here, will definitely be returning for more. The customer service was the cherry on top of the experience of purchasing furniture here.

I rarely take the time to write reviews. I feelcompelled to after what I just witnessed at this store. I went here to do some shopping and as I was about to leave, I hear a woman yelling, “shut it up, and get it out of here”. I walked back in, and noticed she’s yelling at a family. This woman continued to yell and told them, they fit in better down the street. I was mortified, and repulsed by her behavior. While this business may not care, I won’t shop here again. It’s not okay to talk to people that way, let alone customers. DISGUSTED.

The owner of this store is Cheryl Lawrence. She does what she can to hide her identity(including lying to me when I asked for the owners info, and calling me stating she was Kate the manager) You will notice below shes given her store 5 stars. This women attempted me physically assault me, called my son it several times and when she contacted me, threatened to call CPS and stated because my toddler was crying in her store I neglect him, and I dont take care of him. Never in my life have I been treated this way. Im in shock, and disgusted. She had no remorse, was hateful, and posses the poorest customer service skills I have ever seen.

They take really great pieces of furniture! Ive bought several things from them and feel like their items were priced fairly and all were so pretty!

This past weekend, I cringed when I heard an employee was yelling at a family, because their young toddler was crying. “Shut IT up!” and “Get IT out of here!” were some of the disrespectful and appalling insults hurled by the rude, uncouth worker. With so many choices out there, guest services needs to improve immensely.

This is the ultimate luxury consignment store. Great location, excellent customer service, and unbeatable quality pieces.

Be mindful of how you treat others! Uncouth and disrespectful behavior by the owner. To call a crying child an “it” and tell the family to leave.... Shame on you!

My family and I were here today. I have a toddler, after a while he stated to cry for maybe, 3-5 mins. The employee came flying around the corner, yelling at us. She said, “hey, get it(it referring to my son” out of here. She proceed to tell me and my husband, “this isn’t Target, and we can go down the street”. She offered no apology for her rude, harsh behavior. She continued to speak to us like we were beneath her. She stated that we were bad parents for allowing our some to cry and she could care less if he’s “2 years old, or 5 months old shut IT up” She REFUSED to give the managers name, and because I kept asking threatened to call the police. I was recording her crazy behavior, and this women literally lunged at me to take my phone from my hands once she realized I was recording her. I have never felt so humiliated, or disgusted in my life.

If I could leave 0 star I would. I’m am disgusted with what I witnessed in your store by one of your employees. And to think that people like that are still allowed to work with customers. Stereotype is one thing, but to make a comment degrading people is another. This store will never get my business.

Disgusted by the owner of this store, what Ive read, and how Cheryl treated customers. I will never shop here, and I will let everyone I know what happened to that poor family.

Horrible customer service. Owner is two faced and only cares about her bottom line, not true customer service. Never returning.
