Didnt look too much at the produce as Im travelling, but it looked great when I walked through. Didnt look at most of the refrigerated but the tofu section was good Pulmuone (firm, soft silken, fried) and lots of pickled veg. The pantry goods section was great with its selection - both quality/quantity - with all of the essentials and extras. Korean cooking basic seasonings, pastes, sauces, grains/beans, kelp, bagged soup, and such. Lots of candy/snacks/instant ramyeon too. I could only find Ito En Barley and Matcha tea, not their normal green, but they had a large assortment of other teas from Korean brands (along with jarred teas like honey lemon).
Good for casual grocery. Not much stuffs as compared to hmart and the normal stuffs are available there. Good for fresh vegetables and fish options.
An Asian market with comparable pricing to American and Mexican stores. Nice produce section and meat market. Small bakery selling pastries. Live fish in tanks. My Korean neighbor and I go every couple of months from Ft Worth.
Our friends had us stop here on our way to Houston for a quick lunch. This is actually a Korean Market but they have an quick food area. Oh my goodness the food was incredible! We had to stop on our way home too. Fresh, super flavorful and such a great price. I think all of this was $7.50 and the hot pot was one of the best I’ve had.
Im old customer here. Everyone work peoples are very kindly 99 % guarantees
They have more variety in products than other big grocery stores. And they have deep fried squid at $4.99. If youre lucky, you may find Korean style meat balls, gogi wanjya, freshly made in the morning. I bought a small box ($5) with 8 wanjya, about 2.5 inches in diameter and 1 inch thick each.So yummy. Thank you Komart.
We bought a watermelon here and it was rotten when we got home and cut it up. All the groceries here are very old and seem expired. The ice cream seems frozen for a while and wasn’t replaced with new ones. The watermelon had holes in it and made me want to throw up. Never come here for korean groceries…
Delicious fresh Korean foods and sides! Plus it Super affordable!! Today we had their bulgolgi, bimimpap and fried dumplings! Amazing!! They also have lots of side dishes freshly prepared you can buy to take home.
Last shipped here 5 years ago.
We love Komart for anything Japanese, and Korean. I stock up on Nato (normally so hard to find!), Dried squid, ponzu sauce, green tea, dried mushrooms and spicy noodles. The prices are great and they have a rewards program for frequent visitors.
Theres a restaurant inside, best Korean food!
I love the takeout food from the cafe but the fresh produce needs some improvement.
Excellent local grocery store for Asian items.Produce and seafood are very cost competitive as well.
Anytime I am in Dallas I go here. Has all the things I remember when I go see family. At a fair price
The food here is great
Wonderful place I so happy I went
The best Korean food court! Authentic Korean food and super nice people. Thank you for the best kimchi, Mrs. Kim!
Had a good experience with my daughters there. Had a big selection of Korean snacks, and a huge selection of dumplings. Great experience!
Quick, easy, to find when I need something in a jiffy. Relatively clean and well lit. They also have various small stands that offer food and goodies almost like a mini bazaar.
Best Korean Food court in townThe food court is amazing. Wide menu selection and reasonable price. Quality puts Hmart to shame.Would recommend #11 #9 and #7.
Very good Korean supermarket. Not as big and fancy like Hmart but good selection of food. Check out the food court. Very reasonable priced entrees. Some are on par with more expensive nearby restaurants.
Loved the food! I ate the pastry shaped like fish with frene inside. In the front of the market. However, they get upset or do not want to provide quality service if you don’t buy anything. Her demeanor changed after we bought something. Come for the food not the people. The owner/manager was kind as we went in to purchase items.
Grocery section is pretty good, although some prices are a bit high for meat/seafood. The deli section at the front has a large selection of hot dishes at a great price.
Such a great people full of hospitality and neat professionalism. Thank you.
I got stomach pain after eating fish cake from here and gave all to my dog. With this pain I took medicine. Drain out my strength. I could not eat anymore. They didn’t want to refund or credit either. Lost money $6 for whole thing. Peanut was not fresh enough got moisture in it can’t eat either. I bought one box of radish and one of big radish got rotten fungus. All this happen at one shopping. I can’t shop there anymore. They said they can give one radish for this incident. Too much gas for the one radish. No more trouble.
The portion of Korean food is good. I was not able to finish it. Miso soup was good.. the best part was, Korean stuffs were so easily available... And cheaper than in Korea itself!! How much bargain can you ask for.
Frozen seafood is cheaper than Hmart but you don’t know how old.. and vegetables are usually not too fresh. Dry, frozen or sealed food is safe to buy with better price than other Korean groceries.
The people were so nice and friendly, the prices are affordable, and there is an enormous amount of variety and products! I will go back as much as I can. Im an american, so Im sure I stuck out pretty badly, but everyone was still so nice and kind and didnt eye me like I was a weirdo.
Area is nice and even though everything is in Korean, they do have English speaking cashiers. The KoMart store has a wide variety of food and Korean items, but the food in the KoMart is not very good according to actual Koreans. Youll be better off eating at the Korean restaurants near by.
We got sick here ...
Been here a couple of times and the food has always been descent. This time though it was leftovers. I ordered a #11 and so did my daughter. The gentleman in front of us too. They both received a bowl full of broth with noodles and short rib. I got bones and noodles sticking to the hot bowl due to almost no broth with some type of pasta looking thing. I asked what happened but they said that number 11 and walked away. The Spanish guy behind the counter just said yup thats how it comes. How disappointing. Never going there again.
Terrible! Horrible! Unacceptable!!Came here for pick up the groceries at 11. Got here around 11:45, where are my stuff? Already paid for???? Waiting 30mins... still not ready... won’t order again!!
Side dish section near the front door women are very rude. Wish the owner hires better people.
One of the best Korean market in town. $6 Korean food court is awesome. You get what you pay though so dont expect upscale Korean restaurant quality. I prefer Komart over Hmart.
Komart was really great for finding what Korean food we needed. They have a huge selection of food and a little restaurant inside of the grocery store. The only negative was that its a bit dirty.
Its a pretty good Korean market. Has a good variety, service is good.
Selling truly traditional Korean food, you can feel more Korean here than in Hmart store.
They have good and many side dish.kimchee.fishcake.bean sprouts etc.Specially, produce and fruits price is very cheap. Also, traditional mungbean cake, korean styles mini beef parties.Go try.
Place is a bit dirty. The groceries are definitely over priced. But the food is good. So I visit often for that.
Their food court is an excellent place comparing its prices. But never, never buy any pre marinated beef(bulgiki), pork(jeyuk bok eum) because those pre marinated meats are not a good quality meats. All fats and recipes are really BAD.
Great lunch counter and descent grocery store. Like the selection of kimchee.
Are Pretty Good Things To Buy in this Store.
Excellent Korean grocery. The OG of Korean stores along with Shin Chon Market and Poong Nyun. You will find banchans straight from Korea as well as the latest imported snacks, ramens, etc. I live closer to Hmart but am willing to drive over here just because of the variety of Korean specific goods they have. Plus their homemade banchans are cheaper.
Price is acceptable. And the food is delicious.
They have a nice selection to choose from but it doesnt smell to great
Good selection, and not as dirty as some of the other Korean stores nearby.
Crowded and not the cleanest. KoMart can have some good deals, but the facility is showing its age. A lot of business has been taken by the newer and larger Super H-Mart in Carrollton. We shop there because it is more conveniently located for us.
For some reason I like Ko-mart than H-mart. Cozy, quick shopping, fresh vegetables, and good food.
6 bucks for most everything in the food court. This store has been going strong for 10+ years and is my favorite choice to get my korean groceries.
Do not eat at the deli in the grocery store. It is disgusting!!!!! I ordered the bulgogi and they said I had to pay for the sauce. That makes no sense. Its not BULGOGI WITHOUT THE SAUCE! Why would you sell me bulgogi without telling me its really just beef and onions with no flavor. The staff us rude too.
Great hospitality with excellent varieties of products at great prices!
A couple of months ago, I went to Dallas from out of state and purchased a $200+ rice cooker from KOMart home goods/small appliance store. I explained to the salesperson (young man) that I was from out-of-state, looking to purchase a rice cooker for my mom because hers was causing problems. He sold me a gasket that would fix her problem, but I decided to buy a rice cooker while I was there because finding a large selection of rice cookers in Oklahoma is not so easy. The rice cooker he showed me ticked all my boxes, and he went into detail about the 1 year warranty. After the purchase, he folded the receipt and taped it to the box in a manner where I could not read anything printed on it - especially the fine print. He said I should leave it taped to the box and keep the box so that if I had a warranty issue, it could be addressed. He never mentioned that the receipt warned about a three day return policy. Of course, had I known about the three day return policy, I may have not been so quick to purchase the product. The gasket did fix my moms problem, and I never even opened the box for the rice cooker. It sat in my spare room until the next time I had a chance to go to Dallas (military TDYs mostly kept me from going sooner). Granted, it was two months, but the box was in perfect condition. They had three in stock, so it is obviously an item they keep in stock and could easily resell. It is not like it was on sale when I purchased it or at the time I tried to return it... They detached the receipt from the box and just flat refused to refund the item – citing the three day return policy that was on the receipt the salesperson had taped to the box that I could not read. They didnt offer a store credit, they did not offer to take the item if I paid a restock fee – nothing. All I got was a - “Sorry I didnt tell you about the return policy. Its just that nobody ever returns these.” Now, Im stuck with a rice cooker I have no use for.I implore anybody reading this review to not shop at Komart. Not only will I never go back, I will never shop at any of the stores in the same shopping center because business owners tend to locate their businesses with other businesses of like-minded owners. From now on, I will be an H Mart girl. Please, let these business owners know that this type of customer service is unacceptable and give your hard-earned money to people who will stand behind doing the right thing.
Some people here try to cheat you. There is one female cashier with glasses who will try to charge you a different price or try to not accept your card as a credit card and insists on charging as debit (because the merchant pays less fees for debit (like 10 cents) vs 2% transaction fee for credit card). She only tries this on non-Koreans or Koreans who cannot speak Korean fluently. If credit card bothers them so much, they can put a limit, like at least $10 needed to use credit card instead of acting like this. There is another person, a young guy, perhaps her son (I can only assume as they are both weasels), who also tries to cheat people. He tried to charge me double the price on an item thinking I would not know, but I did, and I brought it back and it was clear from the weasels face that he knew he got caught. If you are non-Korean, go to the checkout where there is a non-Korean cashier. Better yet, go to Hmart and dont support Komart as Hmart does not pull these stunts. The others who work at Komart dont seem to be weasels like these two so its too bad these two cast a pall on the entire place and on Koreans, or at least Korean immigrants, not Americanized Koreans, in general. After the weasel son tried to cheat me, I avoided this place to a large extent but thought I would give it another try as it is close to me but then the weasel mom was so nasty, I think I will be avoiding this place. I am an immigrant but do not support bad practices that some immigrants try to bring over to the US. Sure, US businesses are guilty of bad practices, ie Whole Foods market mislabeling the weights of prepackaged foods, but at least that was non-discriminatory (and if you are shopping at Whole Foods, you have to realize you are getting ripped off and overcharged all the time), while these weasels are discriminating and targeting certain people. I heard they are building new Hmart near Komart, hopefully that will happen soon.
Love this place I missed it when this place was in Irving.
If you dont like ok a have the solocion dont GO😏😏😲
Never wanna go back this place,it was so stunk and all the seafoods they got looks dirty and old, dirty place
I come here when I want good Korean food for a really low price. 6 dollars for cold noodles or bibimbap is a grab.
Komarts fish department has excellent service. Especially Mr. Kwang Soo? has exceptional skills in slicing sashimi and makes beautiful sashimi platters.
This store is well organized and nice staff
Great store, very organized with a wide variety!
Fresh food, clean and prices are reasonable.
Reasonable prices for goods.
Cheap (sometimes)asian (mostly korean)

The market next to Komart is so good. In particular, I always go here to buy rice cookers, and the uncle is always kind and explains it well!
Its great to be able to find everything about Korean food and drinks.
Everyone works hard, but you can’t always be kind.I understand emotional labor dealing with many people.Employees, please do your best.
I was so annoyed at the comart on July 3 .. I think that the female employee is a cosmetics corner employee in the comart .. Maybe that day the woman is helping the front food corner in the cosmetics corner for a while. I do not want to go there when I am a woman, but I think that all of the other employees are despising because of that one woman. Real unkindness
Its a long way to go from home.
It looks like someone in the bakery and cosmetics Kone is the same person, but kindness is like an old man.
I can not go because the staff is not cheap. The staff are rude here. Never come here run! They even treat native koreans bad too.
It is a good place to try something different. How good.
