Weve been going to Dive West for years and panicked when the Greenville location closed. So glad they reopened even closer to us. Everyone on the staff is so knowledgeable and friendly, we really appreciate them. Weve bought gear and land airfills here and the service has always been great.

Love this place ! The manager is amazing and always helpful with the older dive equipment we have. The pricing is good some things are the same price as on Amazon. Very good people and they have been in Dallas forever.

I love Dive West. My husband and I have taken several classes and gone on several trips with Gordon, Brandi and Brent. They are always helpful and friendly. If there is some scuba gear they dont have in stock they are willing to order it.They are a full service dive shop offering scuba diving training, scuba diving and snorkeling gear, wetsuits, air fills, scuba diving equipment rental, dive travel, scuba equipment repair and annual service.Gordon worked at Dive West for years and purchased it from the original owner a few years back. Brandi has been part of their team for years and she is super helpful and caring. Diving is their passion and it really shows.I recommend Dive West for all your scuba diving needs in Dallas, TX.

I signed up for private lessons to get certified to dive, which admittedly, I was a bit apprehensive to do, but friends told me Dive West has had a great reputation for decades and not to worry. I could not have asked for more genuinely nice, fair, professional, helpful people than Gordon, Brandi and Max. I received my certification today and I can unhesitatingly recommend them to the most apprehensive, persnickety, beginner diver there is.

Wonderful place and people: Gordon and Brandi are great people, highly reliable, and truly honest. I dont know how the prices compare to other shops but I dont care. I would happily pay more for the service and wonderful equipment recommendations I have received.

My Wife and Daughter took the Open Water class with Dive West. Gordon has a great team of instructors that are professional and keep it fun !The dive shop has a great selection of gear for all levels if diving and what they dont have, they can get for you.Tiny bubbles to you !

I selected this dive shop, because it is an authorized repair shop for the regulator that I use. When I came to pick up my regulator I discovered: 1) a punctured hole in one of the hoses, 2) new scratches on the protective glass over the computer, and 3) a broken clip used to attach hoses to BC.Initially, one of the representatives agreed to bring these issues up to the management. I did receive a call from a very rude person name Brandi. I could barely say a word, while she was shouting on the other side of the line. She refused to listen to what I was trying to tell her, while telling me that she is not going to cover the damages related to the glass cover and the clip. Brandi also added that it may have been the repairman whom the shop uses. To that I told her, I gave my regulator to the shop and not the repairman.When I finally got a chance to tell her that I could care less about the cover glass and the clip, I do have a serious problem with the puncture in the hose. She essentially rudely hung up on me and before she did, she told me to call the next day and speak to the store manager.I surmised that the puncture occurred at the same time the clip was broken. I am not sure what happened and how it happened. However, there were a few places, where my regulators and the hoses were banged up.The punctured hose presents a major safety issue. Even if the hose is not completely punctured through today, it could potentially develop a leak during a dive.

Went in yesterday to pick up my gear that was in for service. My computer and hoses were all hooked up to someone else’s first stage, even my mouthpiece was on the wrong rig. Check your gear before you leave this place. Called on Thursday to check the status, was told it’d be done next Wednesday. Then got a call that it’d be ready on Tuesday. The third call said it was ready to be picked up now. Pretty unorganized group. I’m not even sure they did anything. I guess I’ll find out in the water on Thursday.

During service they lost my BCD, broke my regulator set then said it was my fault and theres nothing they could do about it. The lady runs around the store and talks so frantic it seems shes on crack. Gordon just dont seem to care. Oh, did I mention the prices are a total rip off? Must be that North Park rent payment. Dont waste your time or trust your gear to these crooks.

Never been diving before. Needed a wetsuit for an upcoming trip to Bonaire. Walked in, and was greeted nicey by the staff. They helped me get what I needed, hassle-free. They gpt a fitting room too. For someone who has no idea what theyre doing (me), they really did show me what I needed. Great for equipment, and would recommend this shop to anybody looking for reasonably priced diving items.

I took the SSI Open Water course (via a $199 Groupon) with Dive West, and I had a great experience. Gordon helped me with picking out my mask, snorkel, and fins, and both he and Brandi are so friendly and welcoming and helpful. Our class size was small (6-7 people) and our instructor Heather was awesome. She was really patient and explained everything really well and made sure we were comfortable with all the skills, giving lots of personal attention. I really cannot say enough good things about Heather. If youre considering getting certified, I whole-heartedly recommend Dive West.
