This store has a large inventory of exercise equipment for nearly all gym enthusiasts. It is clean and well organized, and the equipment is good quality with several brands to choose from. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Busy Body Arapaho has been so helpful in creating my home gym space. David and Hunters expertise and guidance make choosing the right equipment for your fitness needs a smooth and easy process. I plan to use them for all future purchases and highly recommend them to anyone looking to spruce up their home workout environment.On a side note, I was also very pleased with the repair services they offered on my current equipment and received great advice on the best tune up practices to extend the technical lifetime of my equipment.

I had and amazing experience at this location on Arapaho rd. The entire staff was very patient in answering all my questions and believe me I asked many. The entire process from beginning to end was pleasant and I have already been back to buy additional equipment. Some of the equipment I wanted was not there and they took their time to find me a machine that was perfect for me and again did not rush me not one time. The went over all the features of every equipment and I thought that was priceless. I would recommend anybody to this location. You would not be disappointed in anyway with this location guaranteed.

I checked out this Busy Body to purchase some work-out equipment. I was pleasantly surprised with the staff that was very helpful. I had the luxury of having David Lamont helping me around the different items to purchase that fit my fitness goals. He was very knowledgeable about all of the equipment, and the different weights I was looking at. I was very happy with the weights he helped me out with. I would recommend this location, and if you need any assistance, speak with David, he went above and beyond without being pushy in my purchases, and his knowledge about everything was spot on.

Building a Home Gym I wanted to make sure I did it right. Everything I have purchased from Busy Body has been great. Their EXPERTISE was key. In particular when I purchased a treadmill. After doing some research on my own I went to Busy Body where there expertise was priceless. They helped me decide on a brand and model they usually didn’t carry which meant they weren’t going to make much money on the transaction but they did what was best for me - I appreciated that - something that’s hard to find. It was the same price as what was online. I wanted some one local to install it - no trivia task it took their two guys over three hours to install and I get a LOCAL place that will come out if I have problems. PLUS they said if I could get a doctors prescription they could credit the sales tax - no one else seem to know that - save me almost $700 on sales tax! They were great with following up as with the pandemic everything took forever but they kept me updated with text and always returned my calls. Obviously I had a great experience with them and would highly recommend them.

Arapaho store was well-arranged and clean......David the manager and Hunter were polite and knowledgeable and answered all my questions and made intelligent recommendations. Pricing was in line with other fitness equipment vendors.Delivery was ahead of schedule and the set-up guys were a pleasure to work with. Very polite and had the job done quickly. We are delighted with our Horizon 7.0 treadmill.The only downside is the guys forgot to leave us the smaller metric Allen wrench for tightening some of the screws, but I can pick one of those up at Home Depot or Lowe’s.All in all a great experience, and I’d highly recommend them for any fitness equipment needs.

I called Busy Body Dallas on Arapaho randomly looking for information and was extremely glad I did. The call was regarding someone to disassemble and reassemble a home gym. The Manager recommended Trey Martin who did an excellent job and exhibited a great attitude and high degree of professionalism. I called back to Busy Body for some further information and was very impressed with the Managers responses. I will definitely visit this location for my future fitness needs.

I’m building a home gym in my new home but I’m a bit of a novice. I came in the shop searching for multiple pieces of equipment and David Lamont not only helped me with the equipment selection, but gave me great advice on a well-rounded fitness routine for my wife and I. Glad I walked in!

An update. Received a call this morning and delivery will be tomorrow. Also received a follow-up call from Craig the company’s President. He wanted to make sure that whatever went off the rails is now fixed. To be balanced and offset my initial poor review, it does matter how companies react and recover to mend a situation with a customer. I now fully understand what happened and grateful that Craig took the time to personally handle this. All is good now.

Great place to get your workout equipment

David Lamont was very helpful when I made my purchase.

I purchased an Octane Elliptical machine from this location last month. I paid almost $1600, which included sales tax and delivery. To buy directly from Octane Fitness would be at least $2350 to include delivery and assembly. Im still pulling off protection film from the Octane Logos on machine, including a sales tag. Im pretty sure the original owner, NEVER used this product. Since I work from home this has been a great machine for me to jump onto several times a day. It has a lot of levels and settings and is quiet. The delivery men were very professional and helpful as well. They made sure it was connected and running properly and showed me all the various settings. I would recommend checking this store before buying any of the expensive NordicTrack or Bowflex machines.

I have been to this location a few times, the employees are always helpful and the pricing is fair for equipment/weights. With heavy equipment not paying for shipping on the merchandise is a savings.

I had a strength trainer machine that I needed to have removed...sell, donate, etc. I called the Busy Body store located on Arapaho in Dallas, Texas and spoke with the store manager, Jared. He offered several suggestions regarding a donation and told me to call back if none of his suggestions worked out for my timeline & he’d arrange for the machine to be disassembled and taken away. His suggestions for donating didn’t work out so I called Jared back and he set up someone to take care of my need. Jared was patient during each call as he listened to my plea and couldn’t have been nicer. He was also very professional, knowledgeable and extremely helpful.

They are nice, professional and they aim to please you. Although my original plan didnt workout, they found a different option that was just as good and better priced. Ask for Maxwell.

Not worth the trip! I little too expensive unlike what they advertise online - touting non-existent low prices.

After shopping for weeks at online and regional retailers I finally found Jared at Arapaho Busybody. He answered all my questions -- spoke to me like I was a person and not just a client -- and in the end delivered exactly what I wanted. He even stayed late one day to help me pick up the equipment. I am thrilled with the final product and would recommend Jared and Busybody for anyone looking for workout equipment.

So we have been calling this location for some time, never recieved a phone call back, decide to go in. Walk in, guy never even looks up, and when we asked about equipment all the guy could say was O well this isnt my store so I dont know anything about it. Yes I understand its not your main store but if you sell exercise equipment then you probably should know something about,hmmm...exercise equipment? We were very interested in a particular elliptical but when asking basic spec questions all he could say was I told you this isnt my store so how would I know. Whoever does own this store you wouldve been better off keeping your doors closed then having this guy there.

Scott was very helpful when I bought some fitness equipment a few years ago, and since then has been my “go to guy” whenever I need any products or advice. He is very knowledgeable and always happy to help. Now that he is working for Busy Body I will be referring all my Dallas friends there.

This review is for the 5403 Arapaho Road #103, Dallas location.We recently purchased a few items for our new home gym and the store manager, Robert Morgan, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He worked with us on prices as we were buying a few different items (I had no expectation for this). Overall the process was smooth and seamless. It is always nice to have a salesperson who truly works to understand your needs and can explain equipment pro/cons to you. The equipment and service here is quality unlike some of the larger sporting goods stores where you might find cheap equipment for cheap prices and have salespeople who cannot help you beyond reading the item description in front of them.

I wish I could give more stars than the maximum. Every single part of our experience here was fantastic. Jake helped us out, and not only was he friendly and professional, but *super* knowledgeable. We had visited a few other fitness stores prior to coming here, and what really stuck out was how I really felt like Jake wanted to help us; I truly believe he had our best interests in mind. He asked about our goals, style, and injury history in order to help us pick out the perfect elliptical and gym, then worked to get us a great deal. I dont believe I will ever shop anywhere else for fitness equipment, purely based on the experience I had here today.If you read this, Jake, thank you so much!

Outstanding purchase experience at Busy Body on Arapaho in Dallas. We were greeted by the store manager, Robert, who was VERY informative, not at all pushy and helped us make a much better purchase that we would have online. The unit looked barely used, saved us thousands over new and allowed us a higher quality machine too. When we go to buy more machines for the office gym at the Miller Ad Agency, well definitely be going to see Robert and the folks at Busy Body again!

These guys are AWESOME. So helpful and accommodating.

Posting on behalf of Theresa Billage:I bought a Bowflex Max Trainer online...was extremely excited to get my health on track after years of dealing with health issues. Once I received it I was like a kid on Christmas morning, I ripped the box open, my husband put it together for me. I was a bit leery after seeing how much plastic and how cheap it felt. I have used Precor elliptical in the gym and this is NOTHING like those infomercials describe. I started thinking that maybe the only way to get a gym feel on an elliptical is to buy a gym quality elliptical. So I stopped in at Busy Body to see if there was a used Precor gym elliptical. Jared helped me, he was so nice and was excited to see me, he was very kind and definitely had my best interest at heart. He explained the differences and told me its pretty sad Bowflex never allows you to try their machines before you by them...I went ahead and purchased a Precor 447 elliptical and I ABSOLUTELY love it!! I didnt have to splurge and spend the money to get a gym quality one, this one is perfect!! GO SEE JARED! He even helped me get my tax back, got me a free one hour demo with a trainer...I am almost in tears typing this...I am so thankful I made the decision I did. I dont usually write reviews but I have lost over 30 lbs and Jared still calls me to check and see how I am doing. Amazing service, genuine service, absolutely no complaints!!

Bought a item from this company for $2,000 less than 2 months later doesnt work. we have bring someone out to fix it and we are charged for a service call $100 and repairs of $700. We got no response from the company. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM they do not back up their products
