The location is convenient and easy to get to. The prices are a bit expensive but they usually have what youre looking for. The staff is sometimes friendly but overall this is a good place to get last minute items you might need for a job at a Security or Police agency

Sometime back I posted a review that GT distributors lost my business. They refused to let me bring my dog in as I had done many times before. I returned to that store to try and make a purchase. They said my account had been closed due to my last review. I am no longer allowed to shop there they refused me service. I wonder if they do this to all people that put a bad or negative review.

Firearms have been hard to come by lately, so when I saw that GT had the rifle I wanted in stock, I made the 70 mile trip.The trip was well worth it because Im always treated like family and I love that they back the blue.Michael Hunter assisted me today and he is extremely personable, knowledgeable and made the whole process seamless. Great place for firearms and gear. Ammo has been hit or miss for a while, but its getting a little better lately and their prices are very competitive. Service has always been top notch here and Ive recommended GT to countless people and will continue to do so. Also, military mondays bring 15% off on accessories (not guns/ammo).

My experience at Gt distributors was like no other. I had previously gone to at least 3-5 other gun stores as I was interested in purchasing my first fire arm for self defense. I was a rookie to the gun industry so I had very little knowledge about weapons. I did not feel welcomed in any store that I visited until I came to GT distributors. A friend referred me here and as soon as I entered I felt welcomed and very comfortable to the point where I purchased a gun on the spot! All I needed was a helpful and respectful person to answer my rookie questions and Juan, Stuart Nix, and the gentlemen in the picture (I’m sorry but I forgot his name) did exactly that and much more! I felt so comfortable that I even called my brother to come, which he also ended up purchasing a gun. My brother ran into some difficulties in the application process and Stuart Nix went above and beyond to help us both walk out with what we wanted and even stayed a little after closing to make sure that happened. I’m grateful that I had the honor and pleasure of meeting these fine gentlemen and the experience was an easy 5/5! I already recommended a bunch of friends to come here and will continue to do so!

Went looking for 1911 mags, found Sig 1911 mags with bumper pads, the associate made sure they fit my Springfield. Before I walked out the door. Good catch on their part.

A phenomenal store and firearms supply shop. The staff is patient and knowledgeable. They receive FFL shipments and have never let me down.

I dont frequent this store but when I do I usually purchase something. Be it a magazine or two, ammunition or some type of firearm accessory. The store mainly focuses on Law Enforcement and Military but it is open to your concerned citizen. Pricing is fair and Ill definitely be coming back in the future.

Knowledgeable staff, great attitudes, and they couldn’t be more professional. Although gun stores can be overwhelming because of options and needs, Micheal helped me pick out a CCW based on what I wanted. The sale wasn’t pushed and he didn’t rush me, even though the store was in the last 15 minutes of closing. These men like their jobs and their customers, make sure to ask for Micheal if you don’t have a lot of experience with firearms.

Mary in the front was awesome they have a whole check in process to limit the amount of ppl going in. Michael was the person that helped me and Im glad he answered all my questions even tho I thought they were dumb. I ended up getting a Glock 17 9mm and a shirt to match. Highly recommend Michael and this business.

Edit: I did tell customer service associate that I was picking up a gun I ordered. Told her I drove over an hour to get there. Let her know I was told to arrive 2 hours before closing which I did. I did all that and still was told I couldnt get the gun I ordered. She did extend my time on picking it up. Got there 2 hours before they closed and was told they couldnt sell it to me because they had closed the gun counter. Now I can wait 2 weeks after having already waited close to a month before I can get the gun. Terrible customer service.

GT Distributors is a great place to get your firearms, accessories and ammunition. They may not have a firearm in stock but theyll give you a quote in writing and arent price gouging like most of their competitors are in the current market. Ive become acquainted with alnost all of the staff in the Dallas store and they have all been very friendly and super knowledgeable and even consulting each other to ensure that they answer my questions correctly when needed. Joseph, Stuart, Karl, Justin, Brock and Brandon (hope I didnt miss anyone, I think Ive dealt with all of them at one point or another) will take good care of you and offer solid advice from behind the gun counter but those guys stay pretty busy so Ive leaned on Juan, Christian and Monica up front also to answer a couple of questions for me as well and to place orders for accessories. Give the folks at GT Distributors a shot to earn your business and theyll shoot straight with you.

GT used to be a great place to go for gear. Now not so much now!!! Staffing is minimal, help with anything is difficult, boots out of stock, and duty belts out of stock. Thought maybe the last couple times I went it was just a fluke. Starting to think its the norm now.

I went to GT today for the first time. I had been told that this would be a good place to go for help, since I am new to firearms. My friend was absolutely right!Karl at GT was so patient and very helpful with all my questions. After listening to my problem, he recommended two pistols that he thought would be best for me, and I plan to try one at the gun range before I purchase one. When I finally decide on which pistol to buy, I will definitely go back to GT to purchase it. (As an 82-year-old female, I needed all the help I could get and I got it from Karl! What a sweetheart!!) Gigi distributors is a great place to buy a used police trade-in firearm.

GT Distributors Dallas is a step above the rest. Discounts for every group of first responder. The gun counter works like a meat counter. 1st come, 1st serve type basis with a number system. Seems slow at first, but simply due to the volume of the traffic and level of care given. Was taken care of from walking in till I checked out. Will be back for sure.

A ammo, gun, clothing, everything accessories store with a very nice selection of shotguns, ARs, pistols, sights, scopes, magazines, clips and more. Brands that the police rely on. When I needed there customer support the crew there went above and beyond to make sure I was a satisfied customer so A++.

We dont do Google reviews, but have decided to provide a lengthy one in this case.Been doing business at this store for about 8 years. Have a company account at this store, and at least one of our employees has a personal account at this store. We keep coming back.When working out of our east Texas field office, we drive 3-1/2 hours one-way just to do business at this one store, then after doing so drive 3-1/2 hours back same day, 7 hours total, all the while passing right by a dozen of GTs competitors along the way.We like doing business with GT in general, particularly at this store, for multiple reasons. They are professionals who are competent in their field, know their stuff, and are very straightforward. Theyve so far proved to be dependable, truthful about possible waiting times for out of stock items, and then delivering as promised. Prices are very reasonable, too.In these somewhat hectic times, for in store visits, reasonable people expect to have to wait in line for long periods of time. We dont mind waiting. We like the way GT handles it with their numbered ticket system. Its organized, runs smoothly, isnt chaotic. Come in, take a number, sit and wait your turn. They provide a long line of chairs for customers while waiting. Look around while waiting. Restrooms are right there handy and clean. When your turn comes, you get all the time you need, no pressure to rush. Even beginners get all the time they need, and some weve seen take up a quite a bit of time. Not a problem, they need it. Also, we have never seen anyone discriminated against because of gender, race, language or occupation (i.e. civilian vs. LE). Everyone is treated the same, with salesmen being courteous to everyone. Have also never seen anyone being pressured to buy.Our only inconvience, and its not a big one, is that GTs account system is set up to identify you principally by phone number, and if you change your phone number, that cant be changed in GTs system. Yes, they have your name and other information, and yes, they can note the your new phone number in the notes in your account. But when you step up to the counter, you have to give them your old number for them to call up your account. If you are placing an order that requires them to call you back, you have to be sure to tell them to put your new number as your call back number on the order record. Not the sales staffs fault. Thats just the system.We have GT online accounts, too. Evidently, those are different from store system accounts. Same good treatment online as in store.Not sure this can be seen by public in reviews, as it appears that Google has shadow banned us for some unknown reason.by ResourceAnalytical.com

Great variety of firearms, ammo and accessory. Very knowledgeable gun experts (specifically Ed!) on hand to help you decide on the best firearm for your purposes. Monday is military discount day 15%. Blue Label Glock weapons on hand with Law Enforcement and Military pricing. Wide variety of holsters, clothing, gun accessories, flashlights and police gear (with credentials only). Prices are the best around. Good selection of used guns as well.

Loyal to their customers by keeping prices fair and inventory coming in. One of the few places that have ammo (sometimes with the purchase of a firearm). Hidden gem for the public and public safety community.

Hands-down the best gun store I’ve been to and one that I am going to keep going too especially when I become a LEO. The fact that police officers/sheriffs deputies from multiple counties miles away come to the store just to buy stuff says it all. There’s only one minor thing that I don’t like and it’s that I’ve had a few incidents where I’ve called to ask for a product and they say it’s in stock but when I show up they don’t have it in stock. But don’t let that discourage you because the service is amazing, I Highly recommend this store.

Updated on January 10, 2021.The wait here is crazy. I waited 3 hours to be seen. You have to have a number ticket. If you decide to wait with out a number you take the chance if not getting seen. I had the last number for the day. There was one guy left after me that waited for 3 hours as well. He didnt have a number. They told he they were closed and he would have to come back another day. Which I think is messed up since he waited 3 hours to be seen. They could have helped him. Especially since he was just picking up his order. The pull the number wheel super early in the day. So if you miss getting a number you might be out of luck getting help. Also they have double their transfer fee in less than a few months. Its $60 now. Seems like they are only interested in making money. Everyone else is around $35. I recommend going to a different place for a transfer. Also to GT owner saying I am throwing shade. It is called FREEDOM OF SPEECH! I am writing the TRUTH whether you like it or not. I dont will not be a returning customer anymore and will tell everyone else to shop elsewhere.Old review: friendly customer representatives.

My review is not regarding the customer service at your location. As I said, your staff was polite, professional, and courteous. Your selection of merchandise is varied and fairly priced. However, refusing to sell body armor (unregulated in Texas, with the exception of standard ITAR regulations and possession by felons) to civilians is purely a managerial decision. I understand the reasoning behind the decision (risk & liability), but I do not agree with it. I ultimately took my business elsewhere, but that does not mean your store is a bad place to shop for first responders. As far as I can see, the store has an exemplary selection of goods for law enforcement, which is the intended nature of your store. This review is very single-issue.
