The lights are great, but service from the staff is poor. Our light fixture arrived with a crack in one of the bulbs. I called to report the issue and spoke with two different people. Still issue hasnt been resolved, I have left multiple voicemails with no follow up. Light is still broken and we got the lights back in March!

Service is lacking, they keep nothing in stock despite having a warehouse. Phone calls never returned. Buyer beware if you install a light and don’t like it, they will not return it. Even if you do not install it they charge a 25% restocking fee. Terrible company, terrible policies. Shop online, Lumen is 20-30% cheaper and they take returns no matter what. This place is dead to me.

The person we had the appointment with handed us off to her assistant that rushed us on out. We werent buying for a whole house so werent worth time I guess. Huge selection of very modern light fixtures. Others available in catalog. Minimum 2 weeks wait time for delivery.

Be very careful with this company, they do not accept returns even if they tell you they do. I returned some lights that I paid by check and they dont want to return my money because they paid the return to somebody else by mistake. Kaye Gilbert, one of their employees told me many times she would help me get this fixed and she never did. Waited for 8 Months to get this resolved. They could not care less.

I have used Lights Fantastic for Years for my residence and rental units. Staff are knowledgeable, helpful, and focused on excellent service. There have been a couple of glitches, but resolved quickly.

Spent thousands of dollars at this store in the past. Most recently I received a price quote on all lighting associated with a 6 figure kitchen remodel. The quote was 12 pages and I was rushed to sign off and place a down payment. Reviewed the estimate and found we were being sold more can lights than we discussed or the job called for. Over sold LED lights at double the cost with extra parts that were not needed. Notified LF rep and he deleted the extra lights but not the can assemblies. Notified rep and can assemblies were deleted. The LED fiasco was the last straw. Emailed and called LF rep numerous times wanting answers .... no response. LF was knowingly trying to rip us off, grossly negligent and/or totally incompetent. No more LF in our future. Buyer beware!

I was very pleased with my experience in getting some not so common ceiling fan replacement parts at Lights Fantastic. Maribel was very helpful in locating the parts I needed on a fan that is several years old and was able to noticeably beat any online price I could find. I will shop there again in the future.

This place has great selection of lighting fixtures and fans. The staff is very friendly and eager to answer questions. I highly recommend this place. They will even work with you on price usually.

Not only a great selection of light fixtures but a staff culture of excellence. They make doing business with them easy from selection to purchase. I even had to return one of my purchases and there was no questions asked nor any signs of hesitation. All they wanted to do was help me find what I wanted and make me feel important. I highly recommend them.

I could not find a lamp for an under the counter fixture at either Home Depot or Lowes.Lights Fantastic has them in stock. I have used them for other hard to find items and they always came through. I give them 5 stars.

My mother and family have been customers over 20 years with Light Fantastic on Greenville Ave, Dallas, TX.This place has really change, Staff was not professional, Snobs, heads up in the air, rude, Etc. etc etc.I brought to store to have service a beautiful large antique table lamp. I needed assistance to bring in from my automobile.Walk in store, Several employees (2-3), looked at me as I walked in, dropped their heads and continued to do whatever they were doing.No one ever acknowledged or greeted me...Since I continued to stand in store, a guy finally came over... no tag, ask what I needed and I stated I would like help with brining in a large lamp for repair, I turned and begin walking toward door.He hurried in front of me and started asking did I need a light bulb, in which I did not reply walking to my vehicle.As I open the trunk, he prop the lamp slightly with 2 fingers and said “ We don’t repair lamps”, I asked when did you stops? he said about 2 years ago.I asked were they referring this business to another place ( only after I asked) he said yesand walked away back to store, I followed 😉When I followed him back in, he began talking to his associates as if I was not there.I asked him to please redirect his attention to my request in which he did inpatiently pulled out a slip of paper with a few shops on it, Circle the one he assumed would be near me ( he never asked) and abruptly said for me to give them a call.As I turned to walk away, neither he nor his associate said, Thank you, or anything!We will never return to this store again and suggest you not as well.The store also has an extremely Low and skimpy selection.Thank you!

Bad customer service and hard to return items. Not adding any value to a shopping experience, more flexibility shoping lights online.

Pricing and selection makes you feel slightly foolish if youre a thrift store or Amazon type shopper. Friendly staff and youve got to respect the in-person helpfulness and knowledge. And of course keeping your money local.

Knowing that I can always find the unusual light bulbs to fit my fixtures is wonderful.

Driving by this place always catches my eye!!! Like most brick and mortar stores you can find their products cheaper online but its nice to see it in person.

Great variety but had to wait for 5 minutes before anyone offered to help.

Have done a lot of business here through three houses and 35 years in Dallas. Unfortunately now Id avoid Lights Fantastic like the plague. Installed three fans--one wobbles even after electrician service call. Another has no variation in speed at all. Purchased about 2 months ago and just installed Lights Fantastic will not exchange even with a 20 percent stocking fee. Spent $1300 on two fixtures- in the same order. One sent to me with defective ballast. New ballast has arrived but I have not yet had it installed. Stay tuned...
