Jim is very knowledgeable and experienced when it comes to serving your motorcycle needs. Hes been in the business for a long time and takes pride in his work. Excellent service!
Searching for tires for my 2009 street glide. Checked on line for price comparison. Sabine was very competitive. He quoted me a fair price to change my tires. I was very pleased
Jim is a very likeable guy, doesnt get irritated by the many phone calls I made (coming from little rock had to keep a schedule) and I asked many questions also. Had him dyno tune and do some other things to my 2016 Kawasaki ZX14R. Couldnt be happier with his service, personality, or prices! Will see you again when its nitrous time Jim and thanks for the hospitality!
I rode my GSXR to get dyno tuned and the FI light came on after two baseline runs and it was the set valve code. So he had me look up online how to disable it which was just a wire that needed to be cut and after he cut it my gauges stopped working and the fuel pump stopped priming. Reattached the wire and it still didn’t fix the problem. I realize sometimes things happen but the reason for my low rating is because he had no idea what went wrong or how to fix it. He just kept saying “well idk!!” Went there expecting to pay $250 for a tune and leave with a better running bike and instead I left with a bike that won’t even start and a $300 towing bill plus who knows how much I’ll end up spending fixing the problem. Not cool. I did hear good things about his tuning abilities so I haven’t decided if I’ll go back for the tune once it’s fixed or not.
I brought Jim my bone stock 2006 GSXR 750 mostly wanting him to diagnose it on the dyno to make sure it was running smoothly and running like it should. I have a power commander so I was looking for a little extra power as well. He let me stand right there and explained what he was doing every step of the way. Left with a smoother running bike and an extra 6HP for a great price. I will definitely be back.
I took my bike at the beginning of August it wasnt ready for a month... When I got the bike back I asked if he test drove he said yes so I trusted him pay him and on the way home the bike broke down in the exact same way as it did before!!! His response guess we should have road it 10 more minutes. Although he is a nice guy ***I Would NOT go back***Also my back tire was flat when I left...
Top notch shop. Dyno service tightened my bike up, and they prorated the charges. 1/5 the cost of anybody else I found locally. These guys won my business by delivering exactly the service what I needed.
Honest, skilled advice on bike condition and what if anything should be tended to. Im not a wrench, so it was nice to get a solid piece of mind before riding off across country.
This place has had my bike since June of this year..he never answers the phone...I popped up on him after 3 months only to find nothing had been done to my bike...he only tells me there is no copper in the oil but he started it up in front of me...but I thought u drained the oil?...he was supposed to call me back hours later to let me know whats the deal with the sound coming from my bike...here it is 3 weeks later still no call and no answers to my call or voicemails....its been since june....and this guy was bragged about by others to take my bike there....at this moment I cant understand your it takes 4 months to fix or say u cant fix a motorcycle...worst experience Ive ever had with a reputable mechanic..and Im in the automotive side of the same business....just not acceptable.
They did a great job. But it took way longer than promised. Jim did keep me updated though .
I had a big bore kit and S&S cams added to my 05 Road King and had it Dyno tuned elsewhere, but the guy doing the first tune couldnt quite get the rough spots out between 15% & 20% throttle. I also felt like it was running a little hotter than it needed to, so I started researching Dyno tuners in North Texas and all signs pointed to Jim. He rocked it! Got 6 more ponies and about 10 more ft/lbs of torque! There are no rough spots left, she pulls like a beast and feels like she is running cooler! Nice guy too. Im very glad to know there is someone available that will take the time to get it right.
Great Motorcycle Mechanic, fixed my Kawasaki and at a fair price. Also got a dyno run done, found out I got 100 horses. Only $40 bucks for the dyno run, sweet deal.
I orignially took my 07 gsxr 600 to jim at sabin to have him get my bike back up and running, do to putting a new motor in the bike. The first day i took it to him he told me he had a full house and that it would take a few for him to get to my bike(which i understood). 2 months later i get a message from him saying its ready to be picked up, i give him a call back to let him know im on the way to pick it up and he tells me well its not quite ready to be picked up just yet, i ran it on the dyno and its running like shit on the low end so i give him another MONTH to get it figured out and every time i would call him he never answered and when he would id get the same response every time yea were gonna get it on the dyno this week i got that answers for weeks. i tried being as patient as i could with jim, but i could tell he was putting my bike and on the back burner. After a YEAR AND 3 MONTHS of my bike sitting in his shop i was FINALLY fed up with it and went to pick my bike up only to see IT WASNT EVEN RUNNING ANYMORE! the last time i saw it he had it up and running but just kept telling me it runs like shit on the low end. So when i asked him if there was a reason it wasnt running now his response was well idk!?!? After i took my bike to another shop(same day i picked it up) i see that my water pump has coolant corroded ALL OVER IT and it wasnt like that when i brought my bike to him, he never mentioned it to me. Not saying he does bad work but it was def a BIG waste of my time. I dont see me going back or recommending him to anyone, doesnt seem like he cares that much about his customers, hes pretty terrible at communicating as well.WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY.
Quick fast efficient and knowledgeable.problem go see Jim
Awesome bike shop. Two thumbs up.
Think I payed a fair price for brake chain and sprocket and front fork replacement.
I have had 3 different motorcycles dynod by Sabin and he did thourgh and professional tune on each one. I would recommend Sabin Performance for any repair work and dyno for any make of motorcycle.
This guy got almost 19 MORE HP out of my 2005 FZ1, with only a Delkevic Carbon Fiber Exhaust, Ivans Jet Kit and a Dyno-Tune. Throttle response is incredible, and no cold start problems. Theres not another guy Id go to in DFW. Ive owned 2 bikes since I sold the one he worked on, and I wish I had it back. It was the smoothest, most responsive bike Ive ever had. Im haing him work on my Bandit now, and I will post the results.
You can tell his passion is Motorcycles. His whole shop if full of them and their parts. But this man is a complete beast at the dyno and is spot on with his tuning. He knows the ups and downs of tuning and I have never seen someone so smart in this field before. I took him my M109r and got it tuned and the fuel/air mixture fixed to normal levels. After the tune and riding for about a week, i noticed my 9 was running rough at cruising speeds and popping alot. I told Jim my symptoms and he immediately knew how to fix it. I needed a TRE on my M109r and he found one for me and installed it super quick. Instantly it fixed my bike and I could not be happier! This man is where you need to go for your bike. My buddy has a GSXR 750 and is scheduled next week for a Dyno run and tune. And he is so picky on who works on his bike but he has seen how good Jim is and trusts him. If you need a tune or repair Sabin Performance is where you need to go.
Jim knows what he is doing and is good at it!
