Owner amazing, the waitress was new so sweet and accommodating. AND this gluten free crust is EVERYTHING good in this world !!!

Friendly wait staff, but upon seating, I realized this was the kind of restaurant Gordon Ramsey would don a terrible disguise for, as its in dire need of a makeover. Leaky air conditioning units and faulty ceilings are sure to make anyone weary. My family had eaten here before and claimed it was decent, so I didnt want to purely judge it on appearances alone.My wife went with Lobster Ravioli and I opted for the Blue Cheeseburger. Presentation was ok but the main reason my review is low was the bun for my meal was harder than a hockey puck.Plus the prices are a tad high for out of the box fare. I paid the same as I wouldve at an Italian chain like Olive Garden, but the ambiance and flavor would have been far superior had I opted for Olive Garden.Im not eager to give Lovers another shot. Should I choose to do so, I will update the review. First impressions though were not favorable at all.

This place is awesome. I eat here at least two to three times a month. You can get Italian pasta dishes, pizza, or even items from the Bennys Grill Menu, including delicious burgers (even a vegetarian Portabela burger), and one of the best Gyros in Dallas. They also have fantastic sweet potato fries. The pasta dishes are huge and can be shared. Their pizza is out of this world! There is something here for everyone and at very reasonable prices, except some pizzas due to special ingredients, but still worth it considering we are talking gourmet, not typical delivery, about $18 for a 14-in chicken & goat cheese with spinach & sun-dried tomatoes for example. Great place to meet friends for a night out. They also have beer and a TV for those not enticed by the delicious food.

The best New York style pizza around! Their pasta dishes are superb as well. Been going to this place for years and they have always had the best food and friendly service.

We order for pickup/delivery mostly. The food is amazing every time, tastes so good and always hot and fresh. Staff is always friendly too. This is definitely one of my favorite places! The chicken alfredo is delicious!

Love this place. You can have Italian or get a burger. The calamari is always fresh and the lobster ravioli is absolutely delicious. My only complaint is they dont have premade sweet tea. 😂

First time coming and I have to say the service was great, the place was clean and the food was awesome! Not sure if it was the owner or manager but he seemed very involved and even brought me a sample lobster ravioli which was good BTW, I thought that was very nice. Granted, Im here near closing. However, I dont understand how this place isnt packed. I came here from the Colony, where every restaurant had a 1 hour wait. We got here and there were only a couple other customers. The pizza is amazing, the service is great, and they had the game on.

Lovers is always great food. Bennys, in the same location, is also wonderful. Both have unusually good salads. And Im not a salad fanatic. Anyway, always good food, nice employees, good prices.

Dine in ambience and hostess was good. Thats it. Food was not so much. Had barbeque chicken pizza. The taste was not good. Chicken pieces were not fresh and had a weird smell. Probably will never visit again.

Got a calzone. It was a party in my mouth! Best ingredients and very delicious. More than I expected.

We have ordered from Lovers many, many times over the years and it has always been great; However, tonight was below par. Wings were burnt and cheese sticks and pizza were cold. Disappointed ☹️

It has very good pizza, although they can improve if they serve more vegetables on the pizza.

Pizza was so good, I almost forgot to take a picture. My son had the beef ravioli, said it was good. Place was clean, not to loud, and our waiter was very attentive. Will definitely come back.

Food was disappointed. Lasagna was way overcooked too much meat. Shrimp scampi had too much tomatoes and tasted more on the saucy side than lets say the butter lemony taste. The roll were very disappointing. We appreciate the fact that the cook divided a slice of pizza between my mother and I but the bottom was kind of on the burnt side. The salad was good. Place was very clean.

First time trying out this restaurant and we had a positive experience! We were instantly greeted and our orders were taken quickly. Our salads arrived within minutes of placing our orders and the rest of our food was out shortly after. The interior of the restaurant was pretty nice too.

Spaghetti and meat sauce didnt taste good like last time I ate there. Had to wait for bread as was baking, but when it came it was so hard I banged it on the table and you could hear it. One waitress, who I has to flag down when asked about bread and to pay. If there was only one complaint I wouldnt write this, but this time, I had to.

The food was excellent and the service attentive and kind.

They have absolutely great service, the food is great... in fact it’s so good I ate it 3 days In a row. And there dedicated to the community ( they stayed open during the snow storm). Great jobs guys.

Found this on Google and decided to come for dinner.When I walked in there was just like a lattice wall and the bar to the left. No hostess stand so I was a little confused as to what to do, the manager or bartender just kept looking at me and holding the phone to his ear, finally a waitress walked in from outside the patio and I asked her ummm...do I just seat myself? And she responded yea sure you can sit anywhere you want.Apparently there are two restaurants in the same place because she game me two menus to order from. The establishment was decently clean, there were some flies and nats flying around and I did see a couple of ants crawling on the wall 🤔, guess this shouldve been a red flag.The waitress was nice. I ordered the Mozzarella Bread, which was a French bread loaf cut with a garlic or butter topping and cheese with tomatoes, there wasnt really any seasoning. The bread itself was soft but again there was not really any flavor unless you dipped it in the sauce.For the main dish, I ordered the Works thin crust. It was nothing to rave about, again the flavor could have used a bit more seasoning. The basil on top was wilted and dried because it looks like they placed it on top then put it in the oven so it dried out.

Pizza is consistently delicious! We don’t ordered from anyone else but Lover’s. Period.

Most pasta dishes are good here, especially the Alfredo. Pizza is okay, the dough on pizza has changed since the location has changed. The staff is always friendly and nice. They have several dessert options like cheesecake and tiramisu. They have red and white wines available.

Ive ate here at least a half a dozen times. I try to have something new each time I go in. So far my favorite is the chicken parmesan

We got the chick parm sandwich and a 12 pizza. Both were very good, but the parm is the best for a budget while still wanting something very tasty and filling.

First time going to Lovers Pizza and the experience was simply okay. We both thought the food was decent but it felt like the calzone should have been cooked longer, i have never had one that soft before. That may just be how they cook their calzones there so im not taking off too many points for personal preference. The service was a little slow for lunch, considering there werent a lot of patrons there at the time. My sister liked the stuffed cheese tortellini but not enough to take the leftovers home. I would give them another shot though and try the pizza next time around. If i go back, ill post an updated review.

Real tasty pizza!! Different compared to many other local New York style pizza joints.This one is very good, fast, & the indoor settings are very cozy.

They served the most delicious kinds of pasta and pizzas in town. Their foods were to die for. The place was so spacious and clean. The ambiance of its place was captivating. It feels like youre in Italy. The staves were very accommodating and friendly. A must-visit pasta restaurant in town.

I had pizza, fried green beans, chicken wings, garlic bread and taste of the eggplant parmesan. All were great.

Some of the best pizza and meatballs in Dallas, and their home made sauce makes the pizza. We always stop here after a day at the Arboretum. Great spot for family get togethers and birthday parties, theyre very accommodating.

Okay my family and I found out about this place by googling best pizza near me since we were looking for a very cheesy pizza. Well although the food was good we didnt get the cheesy pizza experience we had hoped for. I also ordered the lobster ravioli which was good until my husband noticed hair in my plate! I know one of the things thats always a problem or said to be a problem at restaurants (hair in my food). My appetite quickly left. My husband ordered linguine with chicken and just to add chicken was an additional $3.75. My daughters ordered the lobster ravioli and calzones. They thought the food tasted alright as well but havent expressed any desire to return. The atmosphere was pretty good but I cant see me or my family returning. Im still looking for a pizza place with really cheesy DELICIOUS pizza!

I ordered 3 entries. My chicken wasn’t grilled and were very thin cuts seems it was boiled and my noodles were really strange. I’ve had a great experience at Lovers Pizza and Pasta before but something about this location makes me not want to spend time there, VERY DIFFERENT FROM MOCKINGBIRD LOCATION. That’s where I first had a wonderful experience trying chicken parmigiana. This place deserves to be shut down for sure

Great New York style pizza.

Fairly speedy service when the waitress was paying attention; the food came quickly and our glasses were always full. We seated ourselves when we came in, but definitely regretted sitting in a booth (theyre not made for short people). The atmosphere is relaxing and quiet, and the food is acceptable (albeit a little on the greasy side). 8/10 would come here again.

No frills local Italian joint that’s been around since ‘95. They have moved locations a few times but have maintained quality over the years.Sometimes you just want someone to bring you a giant Sicilian pizza and plate of chicken alla panna to eat in front of the TV while watching Schitts Creek for the third time without having to change out of tour pajamas. In that case Lovers Delivers!

Ok. The food is good. I called my order in 20 before I got there. When I showed up I did not expect the food to be ready, but.... they hadnt even started it. I waited 30 outside before I got my food. I get it, stuff happens.BUT they didnt even acknowledge that my order was failed to be started before I got there. Not cool.

First time going here and extremely impressed by their pizza. Super fresh ingredients and great crust. Will definitely be coming back.

Just bought $40 worth of pizza, one 12” white pizza and one 14” add your own toppings pizza. Both were supposed to be thin crust, but the 14” was thicker than any Dominos or Pizza Hut regular crust. I then called to make sure our order was correct and instead of making it right, she just told me that “Neapolitan meant hand stretched and both my pizzas were thin crust”. I will never go back and I will make sure to spread the word on their poor customer service. See my picture! That’s thin crust??

Good pizza, but the pasta sauce was way too sweet and Id recommend avoiding the pasta entirely and going for a pizza or burger. Employees were polite and attentive, and the music being played was pleasant.

So today I went to grab a pie cause i enjoyed it yesterday when I came in. Long story short. Dude had an attitude and was rude. It said it offered curbside pickup. I was trying to ask and he wouldnt even let me ask he was just saying let me put you on hold. So I had to get my one year old out the car and go inside. But when I got in you can wait over there cause he was first. Not knowing that I had already ordered. Thank God for the young lady that waited on me yesterday. She and the pizza is the only reason I gave it three stars

Always excellent...everything so good and they have the best simple Caesar salad in town!

The service was excellent. We ordered an appetizer of the fried ravioli which had no taste whatsoever and the dipping sauce was overly sweetened tomato sauce. For the entree I ordered the spinach manicotti which again had no flavor whatsoever I had so I had to add salt pepper and parmesan cheese so I could taste something while they ate it with the overly sweetened tomato sauce. I dont think Ill be going back again.

I love this place! Friendly, helpful staff. The best Eggplant Parm in the city. The food is freshly prepared, not reheated frozen food. There are lots of different foods and tastes to try. Their house Chianti is surprisingly good! I also like ordering slices of Supreme pizza to take for lunch the next day. Good neighborhood restaurant, one of my favorites.

I love this place. Its an older place but there sell pizza by the slice. There staff is very nice and friendly but at times can be inattentive. Weve had multiple waiters assist us in one visit. The bread knots are really good. The seafood pastas are great! Some nights you may be the only guest. Other nights the place is packed. Havent figured that one out. The staff always greets you when you come in. Very family friendly. I enjoy it there and will continue to eat there.

Best Italian food in East Dallas. Every time we go we have to get pizza, fettuccine alfredo, and my husband gets the stromboli. We always leave with leftovers but we cant skip out on any of our favorites. Great little hole in the wall location, good wait staff, quick service, high quality food, GREAT prices, and they deliver!!
