This Dollar General gets five stars right away for handicap parking right in front, no steps to go up, and automatic front doors, because Im disabled and have to walk with a walker! This store is always clean, well lit, with uncluttered aisles and friendly, helpful clerks!I was fortunate enough to get a $100 Dollar General gift card from my best friend for Christmas, I can use my skimpy EBT card here, and this is close to home, so Ill be picking up on a lot of their bargains for a while.This store also seems to have some of the nicest customers around who have offered to help get my bags and walker loaded in the car for me!Also when I take the time to download there are pretty good coupon deals available on their mobile app which when combined with store sales makes up for a little higher than other bigger stores selling prices.

Decent prices...the ladies who work there are ALWAYS talking to each other, completely ignoring the customer, hardly acknowledging them as they check out. The male cashiers havent been that way. Just being honest. The female associates need to take a course on customer service, and SHUT THE HELL UP !! Good experience other than than.

I wanted to make everyone aware that this is by far the first bad review I post in any website towards service. Since I am a manager at a hotel I know what It is to get bad surveys but this dollar general by far pushed my buttons!!! I went in on march 3rd around 2 pm to buy detergent for laundry and decided to tell the clerk that was there to please go over their rice merchandise because a few days ago like last week I bought a small pack of rice and once I cooked it and ate it and served it for work my fiancé noticed the next day it had maggots in it. The clerk decided to inform me of how the dog food plastic plates and rice gets sometimes infested with maggots since it comes from their warehouse, which I thought she should of been discreet about. No customer needs to know of what problems your store is going through specially after eating a plate of rice with maggots!!!! The last thing she said is that next time I come around shell give me a dollar discount!!! Honestly this employ shouldnt be working there she doesnt know a thing about CUSTOMER SERVICE I felt insulted and laugh upon with her stupidity !!!! Never going back to purchase anything that can potentially go into my mouth or my dogs mouth!!! And I will spread the word to my fellow dalton folks.....
