Review only for their cilantro shrimp dumpling. Again another place I go to for this item only.Social distancing at four customers in the shop. They have an assortment of things to purchase here. What I love about their cilantro dumpling is they have water chestnut inside. Decently priced. If you need chopsticks or a container for sauce ask.
My go to for some quick dim sum pick up! Is it the best dim sum? No. But for the price you can’t beat it. It’s savory enough that I think about going there every time the cravings heat up! They do have a decent selection to choose from and if you’re in the mood for some hot dishes they serve them as well. Just make sure you bring enough cash, you can easily get carried away!
TC Pastry is no frills, but has great dim sum. I come here at least once every 2 weeks to buy sweet pasties, lotus buns, and egg tarts. They have great dim sum although service is subpar, but not really what you come here for.Be better if can pay with credit card. Burmese restaurant next door is very tasty although rather expensive.
I love their hot spicy wonton and its cheap too.
Great bbq pork buns and dumplings! Reasonable prices and quick service.
This place has delicious and affordable dim sum. Ive been coming here for years and it never disappoints. The spicy wontons are my favorite. Cash only.
Soymilk was burnt. Over all the food was subpar. Their San Francisco counterpart is much better.
Dim sums are not good here. I think there are better options even in Daly City.
Best baked buns in the area. I really enjoy the fries wontons and egg rolls too.
This place has great food at low prices.
Amazing shrimp cilantro dumplings!!! The pork buns and chicken sausage buns were good, but I prefer a little more filling and less dough. We will be back to try many other items on our next trip.
This spot is the one I always prefer. I visit plenty of restaurants but to this one I constantly return again and again. The team is very welcoming and the cooking they place on your table is so tasty. I am always happy to have a decent meal in this restaurant. Highly recommended.
Really good! Wish they hade more dim sum options or at least some type of menu to look at. Maybe it was just the language barrier. Overall food was great I highly recommend.
Great dumplings🥸
Great place been going here for years
Cash onlyDim sum sold at the prices of my childhood
T C Pastry is still my favorite dim sum source in the north peninsula! Theyre reliable and consistently offer a wide variety of high quality, delicious goodies! And their setup is successfully implementing Covid-19 guidelines: distancing, protective barriers, masks, etc. So glad to know T C Pastry is still with us!
Nice place for dim sum and pork bun, hotdog bun
Average dim sum, but will do in a pinch if you don’t want to drive to Chinatown or the Richmond district. The curry puffs were very tasty but the har gow lacked flavor. On the other hand, the shrimp cilantro dumping was good. I like the steamed chicken bao option but it was an average rendition.
Great dim sum, comparable to what you can get in the city with some additonal items. I cant remeber what all I had but I do remember it was all very good!
Love the buns here and the sweet rice cake have not been disappointed
No frills dim sum with take-out counter and some seating. Cash only. Line out the door, but it moves fast. Relatively inexpensive and pretty yummy.
Good and fresh Dim Sum and variety of Chinese baked goods.
Great and fast service. 👍👍
Last Wednesday it was my first time here after nearly 3 years and I loved it again. This little restaurant is still as good as it was back in the past. Actually, it got even better; believe it or not but we got our food so fast -- its hard to tell how this place can remain so organized without wait staff. Amazing!
One of my preferred spots to grab some food. good location, always clean, and fantastic customer service. Highly recommended!
Great dim sum
Inexpensive tasty dim sum, though choice is limited. Always has a queue even before the pandemic.
Affordable good dim sum place. Theyll be line of customers at times but these ladies at the counter are quick and efficient. Not a good place to take a girl out on a date but definitely a place to get good dim sum if you have a crave for it or just want some period.
This place can get busy at any time of the day, I dont mind waiting in line, the girls at counter takes your order, gets your selection right their rings up at register. I find that even though their is alot of customers wait time is speedy, the rice cakes & buns are so fresh and warm. My favorite is the bake bbq pork bun, not the white steam one, and the coconut cocktail bun soft has good amount of coconut and kept warm in the steamers.
Affordable Dim Sum. I always get the shrimp and cilantro. Small place. Not great for large groups unless its take out.
Pretty good dim sum selection considering this is not in Chinatown San Francisco. Ive been buying takeout dim sum from here for about 15 years and, unfortunately, have seen the portions get smaller and fillings get less plentiful. The baked pork buns, for example, went from over 5 inches in diameter to a little over 3 inches in diameter today. And the fried egg rolls used to be filled with pork & veggies. Now I cant find any pork in the egg rolls. Still a great value compared to fast food burgers.
I love dim sum...theirs was ok...poor service... And zero hot sauce.... 99 market is better...
Hole in the wall restaurant with limited indoor seating. However, dim sum and pastry selection is plentiful. Cash ONLY at this location. Sometimes, lines leak out of the door, but its worth waiting for their warm Chinese pastries and dim sum. Plenty of parking and inexpensive.
One of two locations (the other is on Irving by the park). This establishment is the fast food of dim sum, and I mean that in the best way. Theyre not about atmosphere or a particularly opulent dine-in experience; they are about having a wide variety of quality dim sum at a good price ready and waiting to hand to you as soon as you come in the door. They know their business and do it impeccably.
Nothing beats a bowl of fresh hot congee 粥 and fried Chinese donut 油條 on a cold winter morning. Their baked BBQ pork bun 焗叉燒包 and sesame ball 煎堆 are delicious. And I am pleasantly surprised to see the sweet rice cake 白糖糕 there. Bring back childhood memory from HK....
Affordable and cheap prices for SF standards. Cash only. Delicious food. The wontons had an amazing curry taste to them.
Excellent place to get your Chinese breakfast fix. Buns, porridge, dim sum, and even wonton noodles.
Been buying takeout dim sum for almost 20 years, always consistently delicious and amazing value for excellent quality!! Add in plenty of free parking and I wouldnt go anywhere else!! And talk about the memory of counter staff; I can rattle off a dozen items and they get it perfect every time!!!
Very good, fast. Inexpensive. Great selection of traditional dim sum. CASH ONLY
Good Dimsum food...Fresh!
The place is not so great to eat at but the food, the dimsum is great. I always order the pork and shrimp siomai, white rice cake, and sesame ball. The price is not bad either. Its about $2 an order, 3 pieces to an order. I recommend it for take out.
Wonderful Tasting Dim Sum
Pretty good stuff and the price is reasonable.
Great place, items sell out fast.
Smells great doesnt look fancy but great food.
Best eggs rolls and pot stickers
Good food fast service
Very bad service
Best inexpensive dim sum. Cash only.
One of the better dim sum places in the area. Some items arent displayed, ask. This place is mainly take out.
Reasonably priced dim sum. Cash only though.
Quick stop for dim sum. I really love their noodle soup but I think its cause its filled with MsG.
Delicious cheap dim sum!! The congee is good too.
Decent dim sum for the price, but like everywhere else in SF Bay, price has been going up. Expect to spend similar amount of money when compared to yum Cha ; you do save the tips and tea cost.
I wanted to try a new dim sum place because my usual spots in San Francisco are closed right now so I figured I try a new dim sum place what a mistake nasty dry tasteless dim sum never again
For a quick dim sum theres no better
Great local hole in the wall. Best baked pork buns bar none!
Tc pastries is awesome. They have the best egg rolls in town. The price is really the lowest in town.
Food tasted good but had a diarrhea in few hours.
Food is good and prices are great. They are cash only though
Great spot for dim sum. Curry puffs are pretty good also. Cash only FYI
It is what it appears: good dim sum, reasonable price, functional decor, and good to indifferent counter service. Its our go-to place in Daly City for take out
The lady attendant is not friendly. No patience
Very good dim sum.....and cheap
This is old reliable for quick and cheap dumplings
Kind of a hole in the wall, but definitely good quality at an inexpensive price.
Pretty tasty dim stuff...Id go back instead of parking on Irving St...
Cheap and varied dim sum for take out, fast service.
Good dim sum at affordable prices!
Fire food, small mom and pop shop, cash only
Great food and good price
Recommend cocktail bun, sesame ball, bbq pork puff
I tried different spots but this one still the Best! 🤓
