Stored our furniture here for over a year on the recommendation of a friend. Could not be happier - everyone is super helpful and professional and the facility felt very clean and safe. Theres a lot of sketchy storage units out there, but you can rest assured with your stuff stored here.

I worked with Trevor to set up my storage unit and I have to say he is delightful. In fact everyone Ive met that works here is happy and super helpful. The place is clean and the area feels safe.

The Carter St. location was an excellent choice for storage for us for the past year. It is clean, very high security, gates always in working order and watched by the managers all day. Upon closing, it was pleasant, easy and we really appreciate the efficiency of the final vacancy.

These guys are pretty great. Everyone on location was super nice and helped me figure things out. When I closed out the unit they did it all over the phone and there were no issues.I wish they more prominently explained that I needed insurance, and that I couldnt store food. I had to hang around the place calling my insurance company before I could get the unit, and I had to throw away a bunch of food, even though I had it all packed in a water tight storage container.

Clean, full of carts for your stuff to move and quite spacious.

I looked into this place back in 2017 and ended up getting one of the lockers there right after. I only had so much time, but they made the entire process super easy. Two important pieces for me was security and climate control—both of which they had. Once I got everything moved in, I never at any point worried about my stuff for the almost three years I used it. They have ample amounts of storage available and at affordable prices. In addition, a lot can be done online which makes everything more accessible when you don’t have a lot of time on your hands.Moving out was super easy as well. They have a donation bin behind the gate that made it really convenient to get rid of clothes and shoes that I no longer needed. Also, they didn’t have super strict deadlines for either moving in or moving out—it really was welcome for you to go at your own pace. Most importantly, the customer service has always been amazing every time we have gone in or called. Will definitely use this place again if I need extra space in the future. Thanks, guys!

Moving is so stressful so when I was looking for a storage location Ive tried to find one in a convenient place close to my moms I was able to call speak to a live person and she helped me tremendously now I did have obstacles because I had a huge patio table and the first storage I reserved wasnt big enough but she helped me get another one and she help me measure the table she was so amazing and she does live on-site with her husband which is really feel at ease that although Im not the only person that stores their belongings there I feel like its being cared for I will definitely recommend this location and Im glad that I chose this place thank you for all your help

Security Public Storage on Carter Street in Daly City is like no other storage facility, I ever have seen. The cleanliness is impeccable. The staff are incredibly helpful and efficient, both in person and on the phone. I definitely recommend this storage facility.

The staff at Security Public Storage have been really wonderful during this health crisis. I had reserved 3 units before the shut down and was unable to get moved in for many weeks. They assured me that my units would be there when Shelter in Place was eased. They could have easily given those spaces away but they understood that my small business was dependent on storage and they accommodated me. I know that I’ll be happy with their service in the future.

Everything has been great so far! Joseph, Liz were both very friendly and helpful. The facility is clean and easy to navigate.

Security Public Storage is great! This is my first experience with a storage unit place and I was very impressed when I arrived to drop all my stuff off. It was easy to make the arrangement over the phone reserving the unit, even on short notice! I appreciate the level of security offered, how they make sure to walk you through the process of signing into the gate and how to go about leaving. The premises was clean and organized, if you dont have a lock (which I didnt) they have them at the front desk to buy - very convenient! Units are clean and they provide nice size carts to trek your belongings up and down the elevators. Overall, very pleased :) Thanks for your great service!

I really appreciate this facility and those that run it. Its clean, well lit, plenty of carts/dolleys, and there arent any homeless people hanging around like Ive found with other storage downtown. There is plenty of parking and its gated. The prices are higher than I would like, at times I struggle to pay the bill on time, but its safe and I appreciate that. One reason we went here was for better earthquake protection. The managers are really kind and helpful, and its definitely the best storage facility Ive ever rented at.

My Experience trying to find a storage was so simple. I called them it was straight forward especially the deal they offer for the first 3 month. Unloading my items was so easy access to my unit. This is a clean and friendly and most of all easy access.

Security Storage is in a very convenient location, yet is very reasonably priced. The staff is very helpful. Its never crowded. I had no trouble getting a space reserved and then moving to a different size that I needed. The space is very clean. Theres always dollies available to move my things in and out of the facility. Ive had an excellent experience in the two years that Ive stored my belongings there, & Im confident that my things are secure and safe there.

Have been very satisfied with my storage experience at the Carter Street, Daly City location. The managers of the facility are responsive to their tenants and run a clean and secure operation. There is plenty of parking and dollies are available on both sides of the building. I fully recommend this to everyone that is looking for a storage unit that lives close by.

This storage place is great! The associates are so friendly and super helpful. My unit is just right for what I need. The location is perfect - close to my house. I dont go to my unit often, but I feel that my things are safe here. Im so glad that I found this place.

Ive had such a wonderful experience with Security Public Storage at Carter Street (Daly City, CA). Trevor and Elizabeth are an awesome team and they are very good about communicating. When I first called them, they picked up the phone, when I walked into their office, they had a smile on their face. The were very detailed in explaining everything in the contract and ensured that everything was clear about expectations while renting with them. Their prices are very reasonable. But, what I most like about this place is their lower unit is air-conditioned. I feel its super important to have a climate controlled unit because it keeps my stuff from having mold, or getting damaged. Kudos to them for keeping this place clean, neat, organized, well-lit, and very well run.

This storage place is top notch!The location is super awesome since it backs up to the mountain. Its much safer compared to other storage locations since it only has 180 degrees of accessible area. The storage is not open 24 hours since during its accessible time, its always monitored.The staff is super helpful, friendly, and informative (especially Trevor).I never know that having a storage could be an enjoyable experience, until I found this place.

A cleaner, safer, better managed storage facility you will not find. The only reason Im not giving them five starts is that they are a little pricey - but its worth it for peace of mind for your stuff. I think of this place as Fort Knox.

Security Public Storage is a great almost hidden place where you can store your belongings. Its well maintained, gated, and staff is always professional. You are not pushed to buy things you do not need. It sits on a hill, and on a clear day you get a nice view of the bay.. It kinda makes your day after loading and unloading (if youre the outdoor type)

Security Public Storage is the BEST! I have used two of their locations Page Street and most recently 1101 Carter Street in DC. The facilities are are well maintained and extremely well managed.Their Customer Service is superb (special shout out to Liz). They will go the extra mile to assist customers from the time you get started until the time you leave.If you need to store your stuff this is the place.

I have stored my items here for a few years now and this is by far one of the nicest facilities I have ever used. Both Liz and Trevor have been an immense help to my storage experience and have made everything as easy and seamless as possible! I would highly recommend you use this facility!Update: It is so hard to find a place that not only has a top notch product AND genuinely next level customer service like this location! I recently had to come in to update some billing info and when I got here Trevor was working by himself and it was busy. Not only did he great me with a smile, but by name at that and all while helping 2 other customers with another waiting. I took a seat until my turn and just watched. In just the 30 minutes I was there I watched him sign up 2 new customers, take 2 payments, answer 3 phone calls and deal with one irate person over a payment issue. The whole time he never looked panicked and never stopped smiling and cracking jokes. Its service like that that becomes not just talent but true practiced skill. I know I would have broken down at least 4 times and he didnt crack even a little!

This location is one of the safest and most secure storage that I have ever been to. The service provided is very professional, and the staff is even better. Do have to take the hours of operation into account, but other than that I am a happy costumer.I give 5 stars to Security public storage.Thanks guys, keep up the good work.

I stored my items here for many years and didnt have a single bad experience! The managers were always very polite and accommodating to any questions I had no matter how random I though they were. I would highly recommend that you pick Security Public Storage on Carter St. for all your storage needs!

I knew from the moment I set foot in the Security Public Storage at the Carter Street location in Daly City that this would be the best place for my belongings. I had just moved from Pasadena, and unfortunately, initially had my stuff stored at a nearby facility close to the railroad tracks of South San Francisco. Although renting storage space at Security Public Storage would mean that I would have to do an entire second move, it was well worth it.First off, the site is set up on the hill and has glorious views of the bay and even Mount Diablo. There are security cameras all around, and the managers, Trevor and Liz, live on-site, which creates a solid sense of security. As a woman, I feel safe coming alone to this facility, which is a non-negotiable. The actual facility is clean, well lit, and well maintained. There are ample dollys to use, and frankly, using the elevators was not an issue at all (despite initial grunting from my boyfriend who insisted the ground level units were best). I feel like my cherished belongings have a safe home, and it is a pleasure coming to the facility when I need something.Above all, the customer service makes the Carter street location shine. Joseph gave us the initial tour of the facility and happily showed us the different available unit options. The next day we met Trevor, who was equally kind and patient, especially when I was being indecisive about which unit to rent.The final icing on the cake was the price. I am actually spending LESS on the same sized 10x10 unit than I was paying at the sketchy, shed-like unit at Public Storage. Trevor informed me that I qualified for a discount because I am an employee at Seton hospital and have renter’s insurance.I never thought I could be excited about a storage unit, but Security Public Storage has changed my mind.

3 rate increases in a year? Thats insane. Closed for holidays and that means no access. Fine close the office but people who have the day off cant access their stuff. They dont send out emails and they dont inform you on their website that they will be closed on Memorial Day. I looked on their website and there was no hint they would be closed so I planned on access but no. A sign taped on a post doesnt cut it once Ive already made the trip. Theres nothing special about the place or the management. Theyre the same greedy type taking over the bay. Their expenses stay the same but the rates keep going up and I mean every few months. And by a lot. I do not recommend this place.

This facility is probably the nicest one Ive ever seen. Is gated with individual unit alarms. The building is new, and the prices are really good compared to everything you get and all other facilities in the area. I highly recommend this place, go see it for yourself if you dont believe me.

Nice facilities and friendly staff. Its always clean in the hallways and in the bathrooms and they even have the option of setting up an online account so you can pay your fees online. This is our second time using this storage facility.

When researching storage units, I saw so many places with negative reviews - unresponsive managers, broken locks, reports of people using units to sleep... you name it. When I arrived at SPS, I immediately felt secure leaving my belongings here. Trevor and Elizabeth were friendly and up-front about pricing, insurance, and on-site security features. They have been very easy to communicate with via phone and email. Plus, the site is located on a beautiful, secluded hill, so I know my belongings are safe and they have a great view to boot. Moving to San Francisco and its high cost of real estate space means one has to downsize significantly which poses a problem when you try to fit a house full of stuff into a small townhouse. Did my thorough research of storage facilities in the area and was scared seeing a lot of 1 to 2 star rating. This made the choice of choosing Security Public Storage in Daly City an easy one. Initially skeptical as to why this place has stellar reviews compared to the rest of the local storage facilities. Whatever doubts I had was put to rest when I met Trevor and team the first time around. Great service and great facility these past 6 months means I am one happy customer. So happy in fact that we decided to get an extra unit to put some of the boxes we kept in our house. In summary, if you want a great storage facility then this place is the one.
