I have been a customer here for a long time. They INSIST on showing you the parts and explaining everything before and after. I appreciate that. Once I wondered if I needed brakes. They put my car up on the lift, told me no - not for another six months, then didnt charge me anything to even look at my car. The technicians have all worked there a long time. I trust this place completely. Just this week I was in there because my check engine light came on. They found the problem, showed me the problem, explained the problem and the repair. Vin, the owner, spent a considerable amount of time to find me the best replacement part at the best price (I have an old car). It didnt even cross my mind to go somewhere else for another opinion. What for? This is the only place I need to go.

Ive been going to Danbury automotive for all my auto repairs. Vinnie and Elvis always take care of me. They are fair in pricing. They save my old/broken parts to show me what they repaired and to make sure I understand what was done. As a female I usually feel like auto places are tacking on unnecessary repairs, or repairs that can wait. Danbury Automotive listens to me and understands my personal needs as well as my budget and do not pressure me into things that can wait or that I dont need. They will warn me if they foresee a costly repair in the near future so I can prepare for it. Finding a place I trust was difficult, and now that I have one, I will remain loyal and recommend them to everyone.

I had a axel breakdown he was able to do a full analysis of the car and let me know exactly the issue and how to repair. His labor rates are the best in town .I trust him with all my cars. Nothing less than 5 stars!!!!Went to my mechanic to find out he retired. I needed brakes and an oil change. I panicked. I began calling friends. One friend referred me to Rapid Lube on South Street (for an oil change) and Rapid Lube referred me to Danbury esAutomotive.I called and spoke to Vin, the owner. Curtious patient and knowledgeable is what I experienced! I was able to bring my car in to his shop two days later. As it turns out my brakes were shot. Vin needed to order the parts and I needed to go home. A customer extend an invite to take me home instead of a mechanic stopping his work. The customer said, Thats the least that I can do for Vin. I was sold!Great customer service. Knowlegable owner who will not cut corners. He is willing to explain and show you car parts that are damaged. Trustworthiness is priceless!

I was recently on vacation with my family when we had a brake line blow. Danbury Automotive Services was the only place that said they could get me in that day. Vin definitely was polite and sympathetic to our situation. He definitely went above and beyond to help us knowing we were stranded. With that being said on to the car being serviced. We had to stay in a hotel because by the time they could look at it their shop was closing and they couldnt do anything until the mechanic came in 10 am the next day. The next day I was told they were going to change the rear brake line, jump ahead 5 hours to 3pm. Still nothing we called and were not given an exact answer as to when it would be done. An hour later we get a call saying that now its our rear rotors and brake pads as well. Mind you we were already quoted $600 for initial repair, this now added another $500. 30 min later we get another call stating they couldnt bleed the brakes because our rear left caliper needed to be replaced. That now added another $140(which i know for a fact is only about $60). It was finally ready to be picked up at 6:30pm. When I finally get to drive my vehicle all of my brakes warning lights were still on and my brakes were not leaking but definitely had a lot of air in the line. When i asked the mechanic why the lights were still on and I had almost no stopping power still, offhandedly witha smile said it should get better as i drive and that if i wanted to stay yet another day and rack up yet another $400 - $500 he could bleed the front by replacing my other calipers. I politely declined knowing this was a joke and i was being taken advantage of seeing as it cost almost $1300 and my brakes were just barely working. Upon coming home i had a mechanic friend look at my vehichle and within 45 min he had my brakes bled, fixed and me safely on the road (which he was able to do in a parking lot while I was at a softball game).i also spoke with 2 mechanics upon coming home and both said it should NEVER have taken that long to do the work they had done. I honestly cant believe it took 8 and a half hours to fix only my rear brake line, 2 rear rotors, 2 rear brake pads and my left rear caliper and I still had little to no stopping power for the remainder of my trip but was fixed within an hour safely. I would avoid this place at all cost. They take advatage of you especially when youre traveling and have no other option and milk it for as long as they can.

I brought a car from the shop and the car was up to everything that i was told by the seller. I was very satisfy and happy.
