Most horror stories I hear are from Mechanics. Not this time!! Mr. Richard is genuinely an honest and good person/mechanic. Seems to really enjoy what he does! Thank you for giving me my car back!!! Dont go testing around with other mechanics.... you simply cant go wrong with him!!

Had them install a new clutch then 9 months later needed a new rear main seal. He remembered me and gave me a discount as a return customer. I will use their service again and would recommend to anybody

Great customer service. Brought my car to Danbury precision transmission because transmission was shot. I was given a reasonable price and they got the job done. The owner Bruce is very professional. I was kept informed of the work. Once the job was done I was so impressed that I had them work on some other issues I had with my car. Bruce did a great job repairing my transmission and did so in only 4 days! My 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee was off warranty and I struggled with bringing it back to the dealer or using a local shop. I am pleased with my decision to work with Danbury Precision Transmission and now my truck feels tight and brand new again. Great job guys!

I came all the way from New Jersey to get my transmission rebuilt at Danbury Precision Transmission due to the amazing ratings. I was not disappointed. Bruce as 28 years of experience rebuilding transmissions and did it in a single day. While I was there he showed me the torn down transmission along with everything that went wrong inside and why. After arriving and informing them we came from so far they allowed us to sit in the waiting room, which was very clean. They even offered us water and snacks! The price is also unbeatable. I give them a perfect 5 stars and recommend them to everyone.

I only Did transmission fluid and filter change,But I can tell that they pay attention to detail and perform quality work.Clean and neat, no spills, no fluid smell, and not over filled.... unlike the other guy who will never see my car in his shop again.

Bruce saved me and my families Christmas! On Christmas eve my family and I did a road trip to my mothers house from Atlanta Georgia to Hartford Connecticut. During the trip the car stopped moving and I panicked. I knew the car had transmission problems but did not realize how bad it was. I quickly googled transmission shops in the area and found Bruce. Bruce sent a tow truck to where I was and towed the car for me. Afterwards he recommended a convenient and affordable rent-a-car dealership where I was able to quickly rent a car and be back on the road with my family, to finish our trip to Hartford. Couple days later when I picked up my car from Bruce, it was running like it was brand new!!!! I thank Bruce so much and would recommend him to ANYBODY! He is truly the best in all of Connecticut.

Affordable, quick, and professional service!

I recently have been having a lot issues with my 2008 Chevy Impala so a friend of mine suggested I come to Bruce and I am so glad that I did. Bruce was able to locate the source of all my car issues and was able to fix everything the same day. Bruce repaired major engine and transmission issues along with other minor problems. He also did everything at a really great price, another mechanic had previously tried giving me a ridiculous quote and was dishonest with their diagnostic. Fast forward to now, my car is driving like its brand new. The car doesnt make anymore strange noises and the engine and transmission are so much smoother. Thank You so much Bruce!! Here is my 8 month review after my transmission was rebuilt. My 2004 chevy Colorado 2wd auto bit the curb on November 2016. I finally had enough money saved and reading reviews for a transmission shop to tackle the fix, I choose Danbury precision transmission. Bruce who took my truck in, called me and told me what needed to be replaced. Basically I am mechanically inclined, Bruce nailed what was needed to be fix that I already knew without telling him. I agreed for a complete rebuild and 8 months later no leaks or problems. Ive been able to carry heavy loads of weight on my pickup trucks bed without the transmission hesitating or reacting differently. Overall the work and price is reasonable and very great customer service. Bruce also backs up his work with 12months or 12,000miles warranty which ever comes first if something happens. Great experience dealing with this business and now Im on my next car that Bruce will be fixing my 2002 Toyota Camry transmission. Danbury precision transmission is great!! they did a full diagnostic on my 2005 Toyota 4 runner and explained every detail to me before they did any work on my transmission, I like the fact they were up front trustworthy, they even help out by giving me a ride home from the center, the service was great and my vehicle is running great too!! Beware of Bruce at PrecisionAfter about 5 return trips and over $3000 was told all set come get your truck and didnt get a mile up road before breaking back down and will not be bringing it back there ever Im now paying another mechanic to fix what was supposed to be done by Precision. I DONT RECOMMEND GOING HERE!!!!
