They did a great job on my car with the oil change. It was really quick, and it got done in an hour. Definitely recommend them!

I had the brake pads replaced on my car, and they did a great job! This car repair shop was able to take care of what needed to be fixed on my car in no time.

Luis was friendly and helpful in getting a transmission for me with the longest warranty and best price when I thought I had no options. I saved a bunch of money and he did a fantastic job. Since then I have brought 3 other cars to him from friends and family members. I would highly recommend their shop.

My 2001 Honda Civic broke down on me so I called Luis auto repair, within 20 minutes they had a tow truck at my house ready to pick up the car, they explained to me all the problems and asked me what I wanted to fix right now so I said fix what’s necessary for the car to run fine, I picked my car up 2 days later they gave me a fair price and I drove off. I am very happy with the work that was preformed on my car and with the service, 10/10 would recommend this shop to anyone having car problems.

I brought my car into Luis late in the day on a Friday evening with what I thought was a ball joint issue, turned out it was a little more. Even with the late hour Luis took the time to put the car on the lift,he fully explained the problem to me and I was given an approximate price right then.Brought my car in Monday morning at 9:30 and it was ready a few hours. They also stayed very close to the price given. we appreciate the fair price, good and speedy work. We have now have a new auto repair shop! Thank you

I cannot recommend Luis enough. I have taken my car to Luis Auto Repair numerous times. They do not come more honest and fair than this class operation for auto repairs.Last time I brought my car in for running over a screw that was stuck in my tire. He had fixed the issue, saved the (new) tire, and charged me next to nothing.Look no further for an honest auto repair shop! They just moved to a very nice and more spacious new location around the corner from their old shop.

In order for you to understand how highly I recommend Luis Auto Repair, you must first understand my loathing of Colonial Ford.We went to Colonial Ford for my 2010 Ford Edge.There was a recall on brake boosters in my year car, so I called, an an employee told me to bring my car in.I drove my car over, and I go in to let them know that I was there to get it fixed.The brake booster recall was for 2010 Ford Edges that were built in one specific factory, during one specific time period. I was informed that MY Ford Edge was built in that exact factory, about 5 months before the date on the recall therefore they wouldnt cover it.The manager said that if he called corporate, he could get them to cover it for sure, because it was the same car, same factory, and had the same problem.He called. They said no.He said he did not understand why they would refuse, and that it made no sense to him at all.The manager offered a discount.He suggested that I call corporate myself.I call Ford.I eventually get through to Ford V. P. Lynn Buckman.She tells me that she is going to check into it, and she will get back to me with an answer.A day or two later I get a call.She tells me that my car wont be covered.No explanation.No reason.No answer as to why.Just no.Colonial Ford stops responding to me at this time, even though they had previously said that my car should be fixed, and by all means, it should be covered by Ford.Same factory. Same vehicle. Same problem.Im disabled and on very limited income, and I had to save money to get my repair done.I had to drive with a bad brake booster for a very long time, and while they tell you that it is harmless to drive around with a bad brake booster, let me tell you that you have to put all of your weight down onto that pedal just to get it to barely stop on Connecticut hills while you are gripping the steering wheel for dear life.Remember that disability I mentioned before?Im an amputee, Im missing my right hand and roughly 5-6of my arm. I had to put so much effort into stopping my car, and I could only hold on to the steering wheel with one hand.All because Colonial Ford and Ford Corporation refused to repair a car that was built in the same factory as the recalled car, and had the exact same problem as the recall.My car was built in the same factory.My car had the same problem.My car was built 5 months before.I had my car repaired at Luis Auto Repairs in Danbury, CT. I highly recommend them.They fixed my car for about half the price of the discount price from Colonial Ford, and are extremely friendly with impeccable service.Oh, and they dont suddenly stop responding to you either.The problem they repaired on my car?The brake booster.Go figure.
