As a recent customer of Benchmark Kitchens, I can say first hand, that both the owner, Robert and the kitchen designer, Nick are not only professional, but they went over and above with customer service and attention to detail with our new farmhouse kitchen. The design, layout and installation were an amazing process from start to finish. Every effort was made to get everything in our kitchen just right... Even multiple submissions to the cabinet makers to match a specific color was expedited to fit within our installation window - and the color was perfect!Everyone at Benchmark Kitchens was a pleasure to work with and we couldnt be happier with our new kitchen! The installers at Benchmark Kitchens are true craftsmen! It was amazing to watch them work... Again, paying close attention to every detail. I would recommend Benchmark Kitchens to anyone who wants the quality and attention to detail just right.We will be back in the spring to start our new master bathroom project for sure! Thank you Benchmark Kitchens for making what would ordinarily be a stressful project - a very pleasant one indeed!

I did not have the pleasure of meeting the owner but, Nick the designer was very patient and thorough with our kitchen project. He listened to what requirements and wishes we had and provided every possible means to satisfy us and complete the job on time. Nick was true to his word and timeline and the quality of work was very good. The installer was punctual, meticulous and always on tasks. I would highly recommend Benchmark.

He listened to my wants, needs & ideas then shared his own. Nick drew up blueprints & we bantered some more to come up with with a kitchen that has not only worked out well, but looks stunning and receives compliments continuously. Please note: this is the first time I have ever written a review of anyone who has done work in our home, or any business we have worked with on any level. Our recent (and second) experience working with Nick DiPierro is more that worth the time it will take to write this.In 2006, we were introduced to Nick by my sister-in-law, whose kitchen renovation he had designed and provided cabinets for. We loved the kitchen - the overall flow of the plan worked brilliantly (and still does today), and the cabinetry design details were very well thought out. My sister-in-law also referred Nick to a close personal friend. We saw that kitchen and were equally impressed with it. Both my sister-in-law and her friend noted having had a very positive experience working with Nick.When Nick DiPierro came to our home for the first time, he asked a lot of general and detailed questions to get a feel for us and what we were looking for in a kitchen. I believe he even did a little sketching (....like with pencil and paper) on the spot, and explained a number of the challenges with our kitchen space. As we have seen repeatedly in working now twice with Nick, he has a designers artistic eye, an architects understanding of space, and a builders fundamental knowledge of what is structurally possible. And as we are inquisitive of such things, he did not hesitate to educate us as the process progressed each time. With the first kitchen, we gave his notes about spacial flow and challenges a lot of thought, and once we conceded removing an extraneous doorway, he said, give me that door, and I can design you a great kitchen. We did, and so did he.First and foremost, Nick is just a good man. He has integrity, and we simply trust him - period. Nick has a nearly child-like enthusiasm for what he does, and you can see him especially light up when we start connecting on an idea.The two kitchens weve done with Nick are very different from one another in size, overall floor plan, and the dynamic of how they flow into the two respective homes. He designed both with a solid understanding of what we needed functionally, and what we wanted to accomplish aesthetically in each case. In addition, I happen to have some art and draftsmanship ability, and Nick was open to trading sketches back and forth at times, knowing that it was an effective communication tool for my wife and me.Once again, in our new kitchen, Nick DiPierro has provided cabinets, and this time the counter top, and an overall design we are thrilled with. And while he offered suggestions on flooring, fixtures and finished details, he was sensitive to that fact that my wife and I could and would select most of those on our own. Nicks colleagues at Benchmark Kitchens and US Granite were always attentive and welcoming. And while there were a couple of glitches in the experience while Nick happened to be away, they were resolved in good time, and in a most satisfactory manner (which I believe to be the true test of fine service: how things go when something goes wrong).Bottom line, there is no reason to ever hesitate working with Nick DiPierro: a good guy, an accomplished and diligent professional, who REALLY knows what the heck he is doing.Once again, Thanks, Nick Youre the best.
