I went for a 60,000 mile check up. My car looks and rides the way it did coming out of the showroom 6 years ago. Yvonne, my Service Advisor was extraordinary. We went over what I needed, (checked the tires, etc). She promised a time when the car would be done….and it was.I have bought my four or five past cars here at Ira, and will continue to do so. The service department never pushes and does a wonderful job.It was an enjoyable experience. Thank you

Im pleased to say that IRA Subaru stands behind what it sells. I purchased a new Forester a few years ago, and it prematurely developed a problem with bushings in the front end. Both Brandon in scheduling and Victor in service were extremely helpful. Victor arranged for IRA to cover the cost of the repair, even though the car was not longer covered by warranty. I only had to pay for the subsequent wheel alignment, which was a small part of what the overall cost of this repair would have been. Kudos to Brandon, Victor, and IRA Subaru!

Very pleasant service! That serviceman was personable and gave me a coupon when I asked. He very politely checked in with me several times and kept me updated. Waiting area - clean and comfortable. The reasons for a three stars review are due to the amount of time it took for a regular maintenance check. I booked an appointment on line and got NO return email confirmation as expected. Appointment was scheduled to begin at 3:30 and I didn’t get out of there until 5:45. Ridiculous wait time when you have it scheduled. No point of scheduling if you wait the same amount of time. Ridiculous.

We were greeted with heavy metal music, played so loud that we could not hear our salesperson. He asked that it be turned down, and management did not do so. The financial forms were only available on our iphones, which made them difficult and cumbersome to fill out. An ipad or paper forms would have been appreciated, but were not made available. The agency clearly did not want to welcome or accommodate an older clientele. They kept us waiting for five hours, despite having called ahead and specified car model and year and agreed to a selling price. The management misspelled name twice, delaying the processing of my financial forms. The agency was incompetent and rude, and we would NEVER work with them again. Our salesperson was excellent, kind, and competent. What happened was not his responsibility.
Sent my Subaru Forester for a full detail. It came out better than showroom new. Great job. This was my second detail. Had my Outback done last year and it was equally great. Thanks

Jack kept us informed at every stage of the process and delivered the car when we requested even though there was an insurance delay on our end. My car is 2 years old and I always come back to Ira for my service. That’s saying a lot since I live 1 hour away. I find the staff amazing especially Victor. He’s the main reason why I come back to Ira time and time again. They are so accommodating and do great work.
Ira Subaru is the only dealership will go to. I have previously owned at Forester and a Tribeca. I did not purchase the last two vehicles at Ira but I did take them there to be serviced. The service center is outstanding. I needed a new vehicle this year. I went to other dealerships ( Honda, Nissan, Hyundai) but did not like their deals and/or their attitude.So I decided to try Subaru again. Kat in sales was the first to greet me. I am honestly so disappointed with IRA Subaru. My experience buying my used Subaru was as average as any other car purchase, but then after I left things fell apart. There was a form that they forgot to have me sign so they had to rush around to get my car registered, and then there were pieces missing from the car when I picked it up. I was promised two new head rests, a privacy shield, and the rubber cargo mat for the back of the trunk. None of them were in the car. I was told they were on order and would be there in a few days, theyd call me. I let it slide because I needed my new car, and due to the pandemic shipping things can get delayed. A week later, and there was no phone call, so I called them. Got in touch with the parts department, and the parts were NEVER ordered. I spoke with the manager, confirmed the parts were actually ordered this time and then went to pick them up. Upon receiving the parts, you could clearly tell that they were just the pieces laying around the shop. The privacy shield looks like its been through the ringer, and isnt even the one built for my car. You can CLEARLY tell that it an old garbage part, and yet they still PUT IT IN MY CAR. Im so frustrated and angry about the treatment Ive received from this Subaru dealership, and I sincerely hope that not all of them are as terrible as this one. If you have the option, go try your luck at ANY other Subaru dealership, but NOT THIS ONE. Ira Subaru may be nice to your face and willing to help, but the pleasant customer service clearly only applies when you still have money in your hands. Once they get it, you no longer matter.Edit 3/27/21 in response to reply: I have added photographs of what is considered a new accessory from IRA Subaru. If this is considered a new product made for a Subaru forester, why doesnt it latch into the hole designed for the shield? Why is it so dirty? Also why wont you return the phone calls I have made and the voicemails I left trying to contact to resolve this issue?
Jack was incredibly helpful and personable throughout the entire purchasing process. He had a great attitude and made sure to help me get rates that made sense for my personal situation. I have been dealing with troubles on my Ascent since I bought the car. I have dealt with a couple different dealerships regarding issues. I have never been impressed until now. I appreciate the attention and care Victor shows. He listens to issues and really wants to help. He set me up with another car knowing I have kids and can’t be without transportation. He keeps me updated throughout the visit and answers all my questions. I just moved to Beverly and I am so happy that I found this dealership and Victor. Being a first time buyer, I was really glad to have met Sophia who patiently explained the car buying process to me. She was very open in her communication and was always available to answer any and every question I had. The car I had for 8 years finally had enough, and it was time to move on. I found a nice car I was interested in at this dealership and I was assisted by Jack, who is just awesome and patient. He was attentive to my concerns and even answered some questions I had via text, on his day off. It was my first time purchasing from a dealership, so I didn’t know what to expect, but the pieces seemingly fell into place and it worked out really well. I’m pleased with the car I have now too, as it is an upgrade in pretty much every way!
The service center was very helpful and fixed the shifter on my car. Victor was very nice and was able to save me a couple bucks, which was appreciated. They also fixed a recall on my car too.
Brought car in for 8am appointment - just oil, filter, tire rotation - should be quick. At 4pm, car still hadnt even gone into the shop. Whats the point of a scheduled appointment if the work isnt going to get done? Were now having the work done at an independent service station.
Came in to buy a used car. I didn’t haggle at all on price. Was told vehicle would be fully certified (ended up being only partially certified, and then they attempted to upsell the bumper to bumper certification even though it was already promised), even without price haggling would not even offer any reduction in add on accessories, took a week to claim vehicle, in which time they would not offer a loaner vehicle, or any assistance in a rental. Been in sales most of my adult life. In a market where the demand is so high- selling a vehicle Is not difficult. This shortage will end and the dealers who’ve valued their customers will return to buy again from said dealerships. This is not one of those dealerships and I would never buy a vehicle from them again.

Amazing service team that went above and beyond! Yvonne was exceptional, I met with her at 4 PM with an emergency on my Forester. They were very busy and closing at 5pm. She addressed the situation quickly and realized it was something that needed to be fixed right away. I live over an hour away and was going to have to leave my car, however, the team was able to stay late (until after 6 PM) and fix the problem immediately so I wouldn’t have to come back. We had an issue with our Subaru on Sunday night. We tried to schedule service but couldnt due no availability. We brought our vehicle in at 7 am without an appointment. Met William and told him the story, without hesitation he accepted the vehicle and set us up with a rental. Knowing they would not be able to look at the car and promising William I would call looking for it in a few hours. They were able to send us an action sheet and the issue with the vehicle. Pleasantly surprised we received a call mid day Tuesday telling us our vehicle was ready for pick up. Thank you William for making a very stressful Monday alot easier. .
This Subaru dealership has exceptional service. All three of the people I interacted with were over-the-top pleasant. My service-person Victor couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating. Would go out of my way to service my car here again
The service department was great. Destiny (service advisor) was extremely helpful in checking my car in for an airbag recall. They performed the repair quickly and I was able to pick my car up in just a few hours. In addition, when I dropped my car off they offered a shuttle service to bring me back to work. They did a great job!

I just Bought a 2021 Subaru Wrx with the help of Sophia. I did not know what to expect when buying a brand new car by myself was going to be like. Sophia made everything very easy from start to finish. Not once did I fell pressured into anything and always was nice and polite throughout the entire process. My story starts with a dark and stormy night as I pulled into the Service area with my all my windows open and my Dog hanging out the window, at least he was happy. Victor was the last person left in the shop and was locking up for the night. Not only did he feed my dog an endless supply of treats (it was near his dinner time) he made sure I went home dry by arranging for me to use a loaner vehicle. After several days waiting for the part I was informed that it would be covered. I had not expected this as the vehicle is nearing 100k miles. This was my first time at IRA Subaru. Because of the excellent customer service from Victor, my next Subaru will be purchased and serviced at IRA Subaru in Danvers Massachusetts. You have my appreciation and gained a customer.
My forester Subaru was near out of warranty and was having issues, bought it in and luckily got assigned to Yvonne Dejongh, who was graciously trying to solve my problem with my car, her service and demeanor was amazing! She went above and beyond, to make sure I felt I was being taking care of, and in the end, the issue was resolve even though it took awhile to find out what the problem was (which involve other techs and her to diagnosing the issues that was an engine issue and not the cvt). All in all thanks to Yvonne and the other techs my car is now fixed and I am a happy camper, in my opinion Yvonne truly cares about the people who drives these Subarus. Bravo to her and she is definitely a great asset in the company shes in. Also thanks to the techs working with Yvonne at Ira Subaru for finding out the problem and fixing it. They have restored my faith in Subaru.

No paperwork! How do I know what was or wasnt done?Asked again late afternoon for paperwork a day later still nothing.Called the Service Center girl that answers the phone cant forward and the Service Advisor supposedly assigned to me doesnt answer his phone. Ive never spoken to him.Finally got an assistant on the line she doesnt know how to email it.Someone please remind me why I chose IRA Subaru of Danvers.Since the purchase of my first Subaru from them service has been horrible.Unfortunately I like the Subaru but I will seriously reconsider in 2 yrs when its time to upgrade.
I was really worried when I brought my car in that I was going to be forced to get more work done than necessary and wind up with a giant bill. The service team was spectacular. They went above and beyond expectations for me and I am so happy with my experience. I will not hesitate to go there again.

I really like my Subaru ascent. When I have service done I always see Vic. He is very attentive to the needs of my car and is always nice. He makes the visits for my service exceptional.
The staff checking you in were great. Very friendly and kind. Only problem is that I went in for what I was told would be a “service” charge. The bill ended up being over 300.00. I wish someone had called me to go over the cost. The gentleman at customer service was great. He apologized so many times. My suggestion would be to make sure your techs are calling people regardless
Overall a good experience buying and trading in from Ira. The salesperson I worked with, Devin, was a huge help and made the process quick. My only complaint is that I discovered a few days after buying my car that the trunk door wouldn’t close due to wear on the trunk latch. I wish this was discovered during their inspection before selling the car. They fixed it for me free of charge but I did have to wait 2-3 hours on a Saturday which was pretty inconvenient.I would buy another car from Ira and recommend them to others.

Went there for a 21 WRX base. Called about 15 dealers before I went there, not only they are the few seller that have a WRX in stock, they are also willing to sell at MSRP before they knew I was going to have a trade in, while many of other dealers are adding marketing adjustment or having some extra packages on the car. They gave an honestly a bit lower than fair market value on my 2016 V6 Accord, but the shopping process was quick and easy, and considering the new cars price and recent market trend, overall it was not a bad deal at all.Plus both the sales person and the financial manager are very friendly and honest.
Had to bring a customers vehicle in to get an ignition programmed for the new key. They had the vehicle for almost 3 weeks. Never called to update me so I could let my customer know what’s going on. Had to call numerous times just to get an answer. They told me the car was ready after first week, when I went to pick it up the car was not fixed so had to leave it there. Was not told what was done or anything. Lousy customer service and communications.* after reading the response i received, its clear that no one communicates in that business. i called the service department 3 times every other day after not receiving any calls. the vehicle ran perfectly fine when i got the car from customer, it just had a failed ignition cylinder that i purchased from your parts department (ira subaru, oem ignition cylinder with new key). there was something restricting my key programmer from getting the new key programmed. after the several weeks and finally getting the car i noticed the key i purchased from you guys with the ignition cylinder was NOT the same key i received upon pick up. i got no explanation from any service writers explaining what was actually done. just its all fixed. also i do not have a body shop and the vehicle was driven in with an appointment. there was also no explanation written on the invoice for the repairs that were actually done except locksmith

I had a crucial family emergency which I needed my car to go back and forth to hospital. I got a flat tire on 128. AAA was wonderful in helping me out but had to use donut. Now I am traveling a good distance to hospital. I reached out to IRA Subaru to get the car in for a new tire. Although they didn’t have any available appointments for a couple of days Gina squeezed me in and emailed the Service Manager and the Technicians of my problem. I arrived at service dept before 7 the next morning where Victor was waiting for me. They replaced my tire washed my car and I was on my way to visit with my husband who had a stroke! Prayers please. And thank you Subaru folks for being there for me while I was in need!!!! We have bought 2 Subarus here and plan on getting our next one here too!
Iras Best Price is blatant false advertisement. Dont believe the lie. Garrett wasted our entire morning with stall tactics then asked for full MSRP and refused to honor the advertised price. Incident reported to the BBB.
I have to be honest that making arrangements for a service visit at the Subaru office in Danvers is my least favorite thing to do The automated system is extremely unfriendly for customers. However, once Victor Mangiacotti introduced himself and gave me his direct number everything changed. Victor was professional, pleasant, detailed and very thorough with everything that was going to be done to the car. He called when it was ready for me to pick up and when I called and had a question he actually answered the phone. BRILLIANT.
Knowledgeable and courteous staff. Victor was outstanding! Very impressive that although we didn’t know extent of needed repairs, and never would, you explained you did essential repairs and left choices for less essential repairs to us, for the future!! A++++
I give this service a 4 out of 5 because a few details were not completed for this 30,000 mile service package.1. The tire pressure was reset to 225 kPa, as it says on the dashboard. I now have to figure out how to change the KPA back to PSI on the dashboard. Not a big deal. 225 KPA is equal to 33 psi, which is correct for the rear tires, but it should be 35 PSI for the front tires, according to the sticker on the door!2. The service was to also include top off all fluids . Both my cooling system fluid and windshield wiper fluid were exceedingly low, which I knew beforehand. They were not topped off. Again not a big deal, I can easily do it myself. But it was supposed to be part of this service package. Hopefully nothing else was left out that I could not easily check myself.
Horrible costumer service I called to try and talk to somebody from the service center 3 times and I was assured twice that the manager was made aware and that he would call me. Never received a phone call this was over a month of trying, also they couldn’t make an appointment for over a month away. No consideration to there costumers time or concerns. I bought my car here In March and due to their horrible costumer service in the service department, never again…. Autofair Subaru In Haverhill thankfully helped me with all of my problems and were polite and effective also made an appointment for me the same day I called.
You make an appointment but you wait 2 hours for basic service to be finished. Service person very pleasant!

I have been going to Ira Subaru since our first outback a number of years ago. Now we have a 2016 Forester and always go to the Danvers service center. It’s very convenient, and we always have excellent service. No worries when I go in. I know everything will be taken care of.

I received extraordinary service today. I was taken on time and Yvonne, my service manager greeted me with a smile and explained what would be done as far as the 24 month maintenance on my 2019 Outback in terms I could understand. IRA Subaru needs more people like Yvonne working there.

Great customer service. The team kept me up to date on all services that were being worked on and the progress.Only strange occurrence happened after I picked up my car. Their was a dirty Dunkin’ Donuts napkin left in the drivers seat. Other than the dirty napkin my interior was spotless.
I purchased my car from Ira more than 2 years ago and aive been bringing my car there for the routine recommended maintenance every 6,000 miles. Ive paid the outrageous maintenance fees that are pretty common for dealerships because I except a high quality of service and care for my car.Last Monday I brought my car in for its suggested maintenance. One Wednesday morning when I arrived at work I noticed smoke coming from under my hood. I popped the hood to take a look and found my oil filter was loose. Oil was spilling out onto my engine and the exhaust. This is unacceptable and could have damaged my car, especially if I hadnt caught it. I tightened the filter myself and immediately contacted Ira. They apologized and asked me to bring the car in later that day. I had to take time off from work to bring it in.Once there I was told they cleaned it and replaced the oil filter. This morning (Thursday) while driving to work, I once again experienced smoke coming out from under my hood. When I got to work I looked again only to find that there was still oil all over the place. The filter was no longer leaking though. I fully understand that oil is hard to clean up, but I feel a better job could have been done.I am disappointed by this experience. I had to take time out of my work and still dont feel it was fully rectified. My engine could have been damaged and I rely heavily on my car. I expected more from Ira.
The folks at IRA Subaru took great care of me today. My loaner was waiting for me and Will had my service needs dialed in.The car was finished on time and returned in washed condition.I highly recommend IRA for service.

I arrived at IRA Subaru totally prepared to purchase a new Forester. I contacted the dealer to make sure the car they had on line was still available before I made the appointment. I was met by Sophia Louzada. It was great to deal with her. I left the dealership with my new Forester within three hours. I highly recommend her and the dealership.
