BAD BUSINESS... I rented a unit 4.5 months ago from $132.  Now there is a rate change and it went up to 55% . It is a perfect trap for people. They give you the price and after 4 months they increase it more than 50%. I called and talked with 3 different people. 2 of them were agreeing with me about having this much increase at a time. But the store manager Debrah said that they cant do anything because right now the storage unit is 224$ and mine is still under the price. This is the worse business policy that I have seen in my life. You rent a place, in 4 months they increase the price 55%. How am I supposed to know now they wont increase it again in 4 months? Or do they drop my unit rate when the price goes down? NO they wont. But they can increase it however they want after they take you into their trap. Now in the middle of the year, I cant take my stuff and move it to another storage. They literally push you into this trap and make you accept this much rate change. I am so frustrated with the Extra Space Storages business which is not customer friendly at all. I dont think anyone would accept this if they know there are more than 55% rate change at a time. This is ridiculous. DO NOT RENT ANY UNIT FROM HERE BEFORE YOU READ EVERYTHING IN THE CONTRACT or YOU ASK EVERY QUESTION ABOUT RATE CHANGE. The same level of storage in other companies are between 140 - 150 $. Their increase rate is extremely high. I cant accept this. It is not about money, it is the way they do their business and force their customer to accept this 55% increase.

Enjoy your “web rate” while you can. Mine suddenly went up 35% after 4 months. Others have seen theirs double. Yes the facility is clean and efficient and in a relatively private location, but your rate after a few months is no longer competitive.

From start to finish.... the experience was great! I called the call center, the agent who assisted me was professional, friendly and extremely helpful. He assured me I would be receiving a call from Property shortly to finish reservation, and I received a call before we even hung up from Debra, property manager. She was very friendly, helpful and informative, the property was well managed.There is lightening in my unit which is a Huge plus. Access hours are great, and the location is easy to find right off the Major Highway. Rates are fair and property is clean and secure!Grateful to have found this unit, Great expirence start to finish! Would definitely recommend!

Updating my review. Gave 5 start earlier but need to downgrade to 3 as my rate was suddenly jacked up by more than 100%. I was expecting some hike and was okay with that, but not more than double.

Clean, secure, hassle-free. They text you your gate code and that’s that. Debra at the desk is so nice and helpful.

Tremendous customer service by Debra. Was able to get signed up and ready to go over the phone. Never had to do anything at the actual location when I arrived. Super easy and painless.

Booked online and had to change move in date few times. It was easy to do that. Check in was a 5 min process and all set. Clean space and nice staff. It’s not 24 hrs but staff was kind enough to allow me 24 hrs access for a day if I inform in advance. Overall, it was a great experience. Only caveat is chance that rates may be increased in 4-5 months for no reason.

Team made it so easy to book unit over the phone and very accommodating! Would recommend to anyone who’s looking for fast and user friendly service.

Awesome team and facility. I am actually happy to go there. Managing the contents of my storage space has always been emotionally charged and a bit challenging. This place helps me to put it in a positive and rational perspective, I did not have this same good feeling in other facilities i used in the past. I believe the extra quality they provide at no extra cost does the magic The booking process was fast and convenient, the high availability days/ access hours are very convenient for me. I highly recommend if like me you have to deal with emotionally charged belongings and want a place that helps you to move forward. Only negative point is google review system does not allow 6 stars!

Nice system and administration

We were moving out of our condo and had two weeks before we could move into our new house. Extra Space helped us secure a unit on the first floor. When we ran out of room in the initial unit, the team was able to quickly help us secure a second, smaller unit.Their facilities are clean, well lit and have excellent hours!

Customer service is great! The facilities were always clean. The fact theres a bathroom is awesome. The reason I did not give 5 stars is because I only needed my unit for 2 days out of the final month I paid for and theres no partial refund policy. I also dont agree with the policy where if you close your unit no matter where in the month you are, it is closed. Should have the until for the rest of the final month that you pay for.

Well I have been a long time renter for 5 years, everything was good up untill the last day when moving out. The two ladies who were working were a little rude to me and was insisting that I didnt empty out my unit .

The place is where you want to leave your stuff!The staff go beyond expectations, they were friendly, knowledgeable and was the only place out of 5 that could answer my questions about how often they have exterminators visit. the facility is clean inside and out. Again, the staff Debbie and Debra made you feel like you have known them for years!

After stopping at Public Storage and finding no one there on Monday, we called to find out why. After speaking with the manager, she said that she would meet us there at 2 p.m. on Tuesday. At 2:15, we called their number and got no answer, left a message that we had been there and again, no one was there. Several hours later we got a call from the manager explaining that there was an emergency and she wasnt able to be there. A phone call would have been helpful.We then drove up the street to Extra Space Storage and met Deb Purdy.Deb explained their costs, payment plans, insurance and all other aspects of their company. We then went to see the unit that wed be renting and found it very suitable. There are carts in the lobby to bring in items and several elevators available for use.Were certainly glad that we found Extra Space Storage!

BAIT AND STITCH STORAGE should be the name of this company. They lure you in with a low rate then after 2-4 months they increase the rate 75%! And the new rate is hire than the price quoted on their website for the same size unit. You’re kind of stuck there unless you want to go through the expense of hiring movers again. Better business bureau should look into these practices.

She went out of her way to make sure that I was set with the Denver location, even calling the other site to make sure things were taken care of.
