Yesterday I picked up my two Fender Strats that I had Thad work on for me. They play and sound great now! Its great to finally find a place in the Quad-City area where I can take my guitars to and get them worked on correctly and in a timely fashion. It might sound old fashioned, but its hard to find a place like this where you deal with someone on a personal level like Thad does. Thad listened to the issues I had with them, told me how hed tackle them and when he planned on having them finished.

Thad and Shumaker Guitar Works completed a project for me Ive been waiting months to complete. Not only did he take my idea and did what I thought would be insane but he took it over the top and knocked it out of the park! Could not be happier with how it turned out. Hes the only guy who you just spit ball an idea to and he knows EXACTLY what you want. Incredibly nice guy to deal with and the turnaround time was super fast! Thank you guys. I cannot wait for the next one!

This shop reneged on a purchase that we had negotiated for 3 guitars and 2 amps. Reason given was that he had thought about it for the 4 days after the agreement was made and just couldnt make enough from the deal. Unfortunately, that delay put my college-bound son without time to get these sold before heading back. That is a huge blow to a student, no matter how cool everybody was about it.

Bought a kelo u-bass, hit them up on Facebook to see if it came with a bag first, it did n they responded in like 3 minutes. In the store its nicely organized has plenty of room so you dont feel crowded and while being very knowledgeable n helpful they still give you your space, which I highly appreciated. Will definitely be back.

Had a guitar in a local shop for 2 days.... the guy was sure he could set my guitar up no problem. Called me after he had concerns as well as hated on the PRS bridges. So i took my guitar to Thad at Schumaker. Took him a half hour to set up and it plays amazing!!! Thad is the man when it comes to technicians you can trust.
