While changing my oil. My battery went out. I was not pressured into buying one from there. But I knew I needed one. The concern the men showed for me was awesome.

They opened about 15 minutes late (8 a.m. was what the website reported). Customer service was lacking, but the work was done efficiently as I was the first job of the day. I was out of there in a little over 30 minutes. Price for oil change and fluid check was very good. Would return, but only because its close to my house.

Heres the honest truth: this is the only auto shop Id ever consider visiting. Hank, the manager, is knowledgeable and transparent. Everyone on the team works with integrity above all else. Not only were they accommodating with scheduling, they were quick, efficient, respectful, and very reasonable regarding costs.At the end of the day, this is a place you can trust.

I had a fabulous experience here! I was really worried about getting ripped off because I am a 21 year old female college student but they helped me in every way! And provided discounts for me as well as explaining the process :) I’m extremely happy with my my 4 brand new tires! And the awesome discount on my synthetic oil change! The man working in the office was super nice as was the gentleman working reception.

I cannot recommend this garage.They fixed my cylinders because of a misfire. The guy behind the desk always tells you that the parts have to be ordered directly from the manufacturer. These parts are usually overpriced. I payed $900 for the repairs and asked if they could put air in my tire. When I picked up the car the tire pressure was still low. It feels like they just do the bare minimum.I went there a month after that to get a screw out of my tire. Once again I asked if they can put air in the tire. And once again they didnt. Customer service is pretty bad at this place and they are way to pricey for a bad service. Everytime I got my car back from that place something wasnt okay.Just go somewhere else. Especially since there are many other garages in the area that are way better. I am never going there again.

I often dread going into a mechanic shop because I’m always afraid they’re going to try to upsell me and tell me there are different things wrong with my car. Every time I take my car to another place and they try to take advantage of my daughter or myself I just bring it back to these honest auto mechanics here at Meinike and tell myself why do I ever take it anywhere else.

I went there on an emergency because my tired had a hole in it and I was able to quickly stop in and they replaced the tired with a new one in no more than 10 minutes. Staff was great and attentive!

Very unhappy. Was lied to over costs. Never recieved a call to explain the charges or to sign paperwork needed by warranty company. Was charged for work already paid for by extended warranty. Paid my portion and despite having authorization for the warranty repairs, manager refused to give me my car. When manager refused to be reasonable and became frustrated with my insistence they were over charging me, he locked me out, continued to refuse to give me my car back and called local PD.

Hank was wonderful-he managed to get my vehicle in for an oil change on short notice and was honest and straight forward; no gimmicks,no fishing expedition and it was fast and efficient. I highly recommend using this place!!

The Manager of this place is a scam artist at best. I brought my car there because I had a repair done at another Meineke in Trenton, the service went great. SO I trusted that ALL Meinekes are the same.... NOT TRUE. I had an issue with how my car was driving and asked for a diagnosis, the manager ask me to leave my car with him for a few days. I left the car, told him I would be out of the country.While out of the country he assured me my brakes was the ENTIRE ISSUE, charged me $1000 for a standard brake job. I got back in the country to retrieve my car and once I did quickly realized that the car was still in the same condition as I left it. I called and notified of my issue... told basically tried to convince me to allow them to work on my car more for another $3,600. This guy jipped me out of money and would have gotten more if I hadnt taken my car to two other shops after.

Horrible & unnecessary! Paid a week in advance for the parts with an appointment made by them for this Saturday. I was sitting there for 2 hrs from 8:30am to 10:30am without anyone saying a single world to me, yet other people were being serviced.Finally I got up, asked for a full refund of my money and left and Im GLAD I did because on my way home I found Auto A.C. Specialist in Miramar and they already gave me a better price and everything is now finally scheduled to be serviced.Both times I was at this Meineke location, all I saw was mechanics complaining about everything and the fact that they had to work and deal with clients. Very unprofessional set up from top to bottom!! Mgr just about useless and completely disregard to reality!!FYI - I saw many clients, specially woman, leaving this place complaining about service and leaving to find other locations! Im glad I made my decision to leave!!

I purchased my car about six months ago and am preparing for a road trip. I went in wanting to get a brake job. These guys were very honest and said maam your brakes are new, you dont need brakes. I really appreciated their honesty. When it is time for brakes I am definitely going back to them.

Hank was very informative and professional. He called within the hour to explain problem with ac and cost to fix. Repairs to ac was finished by 1 pm.

Took in for AC not cold. 4 hours later..... while listening to 2 technicians arguing, using foul language and calling each other names..... I had to ask how much longer. .Finally got my car but AC still not working/cooling properly. Took back to have looked at again and was told an actuator needed replacing. Which was fine but disappointing was not found 1st time and was told I was lucky the tech was on duty today that found the problem! I was lucky!!!!! Is that not part of all technicians jobs that work there? 3 weeks and several hundred dollars which I have no problem paying for service. I do have an issue with how this team behaves and treated me.

The service is the best in town. I will continue trusting Meineke Car Care Center in University for my car maintenance. The fact that they shared the video and pictures of the defective parts make them a reliable and trustworthy service center. ( not common unfortunately in this industry)

The worst experience ever!

Very professional and reliable, I took my car for several issues in the engine and transmission. they kindly explained everything. They were able to fix the annoying noise that no mechanic could find in the past, now my car works perfectly. My car has over 200k miles and drives like when I first got it 7 years ago. The gentleman up front was EXTREMELY helpful and honest. Told me it would take about 20 minutes and it took 15. My first time there but not my last.

There was a bit of a wait but that was because I didn’t have an appointment. Once the technician took my car to remove a nail, repair and re-balance the tire, it was only about 20 minutes or so and then I was on my way. The waiting room was equipped with water and a coffee machine for the customers. I also found the charges very reasonable. In addition, the gentleman at the front desk was very courteous, and I noticed that he was a military veteran. I thanked him for the very good service from the company, and his service to our country!

The owner or manager of this meineke on University avenue in Cooper City has been taking of my car for at least 10 years. The owner or manager, Juan, is an asset to meineke. He is professional, thorough and friendly. I noticed how he treats his mechanics, always doing it in a professional and mannerly way. I also noticed that he has many of the same mechanics for many many years so apparently they are happy in their jobs and happy with their boss. I need some job done in the fall having to do with oil leaking on gaskets or something like that. One said it would cost about $450. If there is a promotion in November for this, please send it to me. Thank you

This Car Care and Repair Service Center is located in Davie on University Dr. just north of Stirling Rd. on the west side. The service is super excellent and the people are very very friendly. I have had my car serviced and repaired for many years. Would not change them ever!!!

Honored a coupon I found online. Fast service! They estimated a 1 1/2 hour wait because they were short a guy but they ended up being able to take my car right away and I was out of there in about 30 min. They didnt try pushing any extra charges or services on me either.

This is a place that I go to only for oil changes so far but they always treat me very well. I feel like I can trust them when they tell me something else is wrong with my car which was the case on my last visit. They always are attentive and timely. I would recommend this location to anyone.

We have used Meineke for years and have always been very happy! The service is wonderful, they are honest and they are very kind. When I ask questions they always answer in a way I can understand and take the time to explain if I don’t. I highly recommend them!

The oil change was performed and the tires were not rotated. When I got the vehicle the check tire pressure light was on and the shop informed me that it would disappear after driving for a little despite my objections to this. I had to return the vehicle to the shop, where they proceeded to add more services and fees for the tire pressure lights to disappear (no lights were on when I came to the shop). The representative was not understanding and somewhat asking me the customer to perform checks on the vehicle that the shop is responsible for prior to releasing the vehicle to the customer. They should do a test drive to see if something works, not the customer.

Went in for tire repair. Out in 30 min.

My expectations is when someone has an appointment, then you honor that appointment. What is the point creating a facade of the ability of making an online appointment and turning those individuals away. I had a 1pm appointment confirmed. I get in and Im assuming the individual in the front is the manager tells they are all about to go to Lunch and wont be able to service for another hour. I find that unacceptable in many ways. First thats horrible manager in a service environment to have all staff unavailable at the same time. Lunches should be staggered. Second, dont confirm my appointment at 1 pm if youre not going to provide service to me, and third communicate to your scheduled customers prior to them making the drive to your shop that you arent going to be able to service them at their selected time slot. It becomes a huge inconvenience. Its flat out poor customer service from the top down. I understand youre busy, but so am I and if Im scheduling an appointment it is for a reason. This is the second time in a row that this shop has done this and I will no longer any of my families vehicles to their shop.

Juan (owner) is very attentive, detail-oriented, knowledgeable, and a true pleasure to do business with. He also does a pretty good job at selecting his technicians. They do all they can to save you money by clearly explaining what needs to be taken care urgently and what can wait for the next visit. Ive referred them friends who have been ripped off at other shops and theyve all been delighted by the transparency, care, and awesome treatment theyve received at this Meineke. They truly care for their customers and make you feel appreciated regardless of how much money you spend on the visit.

I came last month for a wheel alignment because my vehicle was pulling to the left, the technician came back with my vehicle and told me that my car was ready. I told him to please take it for a spin to make sure and he did. After the spin he drove the car back to the lift to work on it some more. And later on that day he came back and told me that I need to replace my right front camber bolt and my right rear camber bolt as well. These bolts dont go bad unless you messed around with it. I went to the dealership and theyre very costly.

I made an appointment online at 4pm on a Saturday, I arrived early just in case they were available to complete my service early. The gentleman at the front desk said they close at 4 on Saturday but still took me and completed my service for me anyway. I was grateful and always receive great service when I go here! Will continue to go back in the future.
