Brought back my child hood on the 90s but the prices now are expensive. Ice cream was great and creamy though.

I think my great uncle used to own this place. He won the lottery in NY, moved to FL and ran this Carvel with a Cuban woman. I remember being horrified when I heard hurricane Andrew knocked out the power and all the ice cream melted. The Cubana was nice but it sounds like the current owners are running the place the way he would have

Stingy! Bought a dozen ice cream sandwiches and asked the clerk to provide me with napkins. He counted 5!!!. Stingy! Thrusday they supposed to honor the promotion of buying a pack of 6 oreo cookies sandwiches and get a pack 1/2 price. He only had one in the refrigerator. What a sale strategy not to honor the promotion that they have posted as their weekly special. An ice parlor thats supposed to be a happy place, ran by the rudest of people. Not kid friendly. Do not take your children there! These two clerks have a melted, spoiled heart will make your sweet ice cream outing a sour dough. Horrible! RUDE, stingy!

Fantastic ice cream served by the rudest shopkeeper.We have tried so hard over the years to find her nice side, but it seems to have melted away.

I havent had a Carvel soft cone for about 40 years, since I moved to Canada. It was really good but expensive. When I left Florida, a large cone cost around a dollar which was kind of high then. Now its $3.00 for a small cone. I gotta say it was pretty good.Thanks for the nostalgia! 😀

My parents brought me here when I was little. We have been coming to this Carvel for over 20 years and counting. The owners wife make the best birthday cakes! Now my kids and I get our birthdays cakes from here too! 😁 We do a small birthday Dinner for everyone in the family and every time they just ask for CARVEL CAKE FOR EVERYONE! This year we are posting because the kids asked for the cake 2 years in a row! They love Fortnite and this was the best and in our budget cake and even some leftovers for a couple of days!! 🎂🚚

Ice Cream Is Great!! But the lady in there is very rude and needs to learn customer service. Every time I come here she always has an attitude for no reason at all.

I grew up on Carvel Ice Cream up north and because my father was an ice cream-aholic Ive tasted all the different types of ice cream in New York and New Jersey as we as around the country and a few places overseas... To me Carvel is the Mark of Excellence and should be enshrined because like White Castle Hamburger locations, they are far and few between. I would be heartbroken if they went out of business. The store is family owned and operated. They have or had 2 locations and Carvel Corporate takes a large amount of money from private owners to carry the Carvel rights and formula of the goods. They might be a bit moody but Im friendly with them and they are friendly with me. Their thickshakes are the best, but if youre not used this tried and true method of making those addictive shakes, or perfect soft serve ice cream, not to mention mention Flying Saucers and the Best Birthday Cake that you can have for a birthday. My blessings and best wishes to the couple that own the business. Please dont retire until Im gone for good... I would hate to be in a world without a Carvel!!

The woman who work there is rude & has no customer service. I asked for something specific & she argued & debated with me for 10 minutes about what I SAID & her husband said nothing. She continued to argue & I left. I will continue to travel 20 minutes to north Miami where they will always get my money, service & recommendations instead of this one. Very disgusting

Great experience

The product is the ever so smooth creamy Carvel ice cream from the past...this location, IMHO goes out of their way to give you the smallest serving in a cup that is visually passable. The serving is narrow and does not peak like the picture. In comparison, the North Miami Beach location gives you an adequate serving. Go figure!!

Store staff absolutely horrific! My boyfriend had gone inside for me to grab an Oreo milkshake (you guys call them THICKSHAKES). He returns to the car with something resembling MELTED ice cream. When I say melted, I mean the shake was liquid. I get out of the car and walk inside, theres a line, so I wait for my turn. A woman ( Ms.Roxanna) walks out from the back, hands the gentleman in front of me his cake and makes a facial gesture towards me to speak with her. I walk over to her, cup in hand, and say hello my boyfriend just bought this shake for me, but it is liquid. Her response was something along the lines of what do you want. I asked may please have a refund, in which her response was no. But she did say she can give me something else. So I had said ok. Can I have the milkshake I wanted made properly. Thats when it went all wrong and she decided that she was going to tell me I was yelling at her and that this is how a milk shake is because theres milk in it. This argument continued as she made the replacement, she then took her mask off with my shake in hand, no lid, and CONTINUED TO YELL AT ME. I had then asked her how she was working with my food with out her mask on, she did not respond to that. Then she blames the gentleman at the register for making the shake too liquid. Then HE STARTS YELLING AT ME! Now at this point, Im pretty upset as Im being attacked by two employees who have utterly disappointing customer service skills. I myself work in a restaurant AND would NEVER treat a customer like that! They were incredibly disrespectful, rude, and quite literally disgusting. Not to mention the smell of the store front! As soon as you walk in there is a deathly smell of mold/rotten milk.I have eaten from this location on multiple different occasions and have never been treated so poor or had such a terrible experience. Absolutely terrible.

I ordered the hocus pocus milkshake and it was way to runny. Iad to throw it away by the time I got home. The taste was bland. I felt bad for the person making it since they did not receive the correct topper, and would not fit in the holder. She did try to make it work. I will not be buying any shakes there, again. I was intrigued by the popup on my phone to see they had a carvel still open since most closed down.

Dont go here. Ive been here twice and the gave me a kids serving in a regular size cup. Ive been to other Carvels and this is the only one that cheats on portions. I even had different servers so I believe its there way. Go to Baskin Robbins if you are in this area!

Is pretty good..... the amount of ice cream and toppings you get is on the small side ...but tastes great other than that still a 5 out of 5!

I was in the mood for soft serve and I had a delicious cup of twist (vanilla and chocolate) and it was delicious! The gentleman that helped us was friendly and accommodating. We will be back!

The chocolate thick shake was not thick. Tasted like watered down milk.Coffee thick shake was made from vanilla ice cream and coffee syrup.Will not be back. No recommended.

Dont go to this place! Husband and Wife owners are EXTREMELY RUDE, and they dont even fill up the cups!

I was going to give it a try for my wifes birthday. Went at 11:30am when the website and the door say open at 11am. Door locked, no lights, nobody answering the phone. Looks Im sticking with much more reliable DQ

Reminds me of back home . I gotta say the guy is kinds rude and cheap with the sprinkles etc ... do not ask for too many napkins ha ha but the birthday cakes are on the money and will put a smile on any kids and grown ups faces !

Came here for a cake for my sons birthday. I had worked with the company on a paid campaign and had a gift card. The older man was so rude because he didnt want to go to the back of the store to swipe it.If you dont care about good customer service, then I suggest buying from here. Yes the older gentlemen (and I use the term lightly) is very rude.Our problem as customers we dont complain to corporate office, corporate office needs to be aware and they will step in and retrain him.I forwarded a email to Carvel headquarters.

Horrible attitude by the owner, charges 79 cents per topping, and charged me two dollars extra and thought I wasnt smart enough to notice, no apology.

Not a friendly atmosphere to be in. The owner was an older man who did not greet us. I got a kids softserve cone and got half if what its supposed to be. He didnt accept coupons although Carvel accepts any coupon with their name on it.

I called 5 times since 11:30 and finally someone picks up at 12:50. She said hello twice in an irritated voice then as I was about to say something she hung up. Must be so busy they dont need the business. Im going to DQ instead.

That old guy is extremely rude, not one ounce of customer service in him at all. He needs to retire if he can bother dealing with customers, that was my first time and last time ever going there. Im surprised he is even in business.

The ice cream is very good but the lady who attends only speaks by phone, personal calls, at no time speaks to one, only by members signs continues her conversation. He did not offer us a napkin, he had never seen anything like that before. My visit was on January 9 at 3:00 p.m.
