Poor customer service. Rude cashier. Salesman told me I had 3 tire sensor lites out and I might as well get 4 new ones at $799.00. Went to another dealer who found only 2 sensors out and did just the 2 for $179.00. I asked the sales person to have them double check my wheel covers after rotating the tires because one had popped off on 2 previous times. Wheel cover came off when I pulled out onto the street making it 3 times in a row. Normally have a better experience but this time was not good. 👎
They don’t know how to provide good customer service. Went there for regular servicing under our 2 year warranty and they didn’t even change the engine oil. It should be changed every 6 months or 5000 miles whichever comes first. This is pathetic. Never been this disappointed with any dealer.
This used to be a 2-star review after some serious miscommunication with the service department on a recall for my Toyota Tacoma. However, coming back for service on another occasion has changed my opinion. The dealer seems short staffed, but if you talk to the right person they will go above and beyond.
This is an updated review of this place after taking my car there several times. For 2 years and 2 cars. No matter if you have an appointment or not they are very slow and they keep you waiting for long time. I took my car for a tire rotation with an appointment and it took them 2 and a half hour to do it!!!! That is insane!! The people that check you in are not always there and they dont do a good job keeping you updated. I took it for oil and many other things and it is always the same story. Very bad customer service and very very slow. I will never recommend this place. If you know another toyota dealer just go there. I hope this changes because this is the only toyota dealer in my town.
I had paint protection applied to my Tacoma. Service was timely, staff friendly, and an excellent job! The service advisor Jorge was extremely helpful. Truck looks great!

Be careful! Dont let them rid of your money. I bought my 2013 Toyota Prius C in this dealer. And now my car only drives 90k mile and the hybrid system still under the 8 years warranty. Three days ago, the car screen showed Check hybrid system Stop the vehicle immediately. I thought the hybrid system broken down. I called the service center, Dave asked me used my friends AAA towing service to tow my car in. He said it might not be the battery problem it might just the water pump a very small issue, but anyway the diagnosis fees $172. So here I came. After 5 hrs, they called me and said before they fix the hybrid system, they found the transmission oil had metal and they need further diagnosis $685 for another 3 hrs work. I said please fix my hybrid system first, and they declined to fix it. So I had to take my car back before I become bankrupt. They charged me one hour diagnosis fees $172 and $40 transmission oil change which I didnt ask them to and I just change it one year ago in another mechnica. So, dont trust anything they tell you. And they would work on your car before you agree or not! God bless you and God bless America!

I’m not sure why dealerships think it’s ok to price gouge people, especially in a pandemic. Chuck Patterson’s in Chico CA only marked their Tacoma trd off road trucks up 1k and this dealer amongst a lot of others are marketing it up 10k!!! Do yourself the favor and go through Chuck Patterson’s, they actually care about their customers and potential clients. These guys are a joke.

I purchased a 2020 Toyota Highlander Hybrid from Hanlees Davis Toyota on August 1st, 2020 and every 5,000 miles I bring my car in for service. The members of the service department have always been very helpful and informative about what is being worked on the car and what had been worked on the car. I generally wait at the dealership since the maintenance takes less than two hours and between the free WiFi and the nice new shiny cars in the showroom, the time flies by.There have been times when my car needed extra service that was requested by the manufacturer and there was never a problem arranging a rental car or arranging all of the insurances and warranties to cover everything.Somehow I generally end up working with David Derebenskiy from the Service Department and he is as professional as he is knowledgeable about cars and routine maintenance.After reading numerous reviews on here about bad experiences from Hanlees Davis Toyota and comparing that to all of my good experiences, it makes me wonder if the person who wrote the bad review either was having a bad day, was in a rush, didnt under that car maintenance takes time, or if you dont have any warranties then yes, your car will cost you money to repair.As long as I live in the area, I will continue to take my car here for all of its maintenance and service needs.
Great place to buy a car but never get it serviced here. They will charge you to look at it and say they fixed the problem then wave the fee but charge for parts. And then your engine light will come on so you have to bring it back.. Ive been there 3 times for the same thing and they keep saying its fixed and charging me.. Money pit
They consistently overcharge for everything from a starter to steering fluid to routine maintenance. I would avoid going to them for service or to buy a car. The overcharging is quite egregious.
I took my car in for a routine maintenance inspection. The service team completely failed to look over the cabin air filter system, and failed to recognize that a rodent had chewed a massive hole in the middle of the cabin air filter and left behind lots of poop! To add insult to injury, I specifically told the service team at the start of my inspection, that I had been feeling an unusual draft coming from my cabin air filter system for several months. This should have indicated to them that something was wrong with the cabin filter system, which, clearly, it did not. Instead, they kept the bad filter in the car. The service teamed failed their job across the board. To add more insult to injury, I brought this to the attention of Daniel Rocha, the service manager, and requested that they remedy the situation. He told me that he could get me a deal, but that Toyota would still make a profit on the parts and services to fix their negligence and oversight. The service team was completely negligent, yet are STILL trying to turn a profit on this situation... Unbelievable.

Please look elsewhere. Bait and switch tactic. Unprofessional managers. Unwilling to work out problem after a new vehicle purchase. Ignored calls. Read the negative reviews here they are true. A lot of the people with positive reviews here probably do not realize they could have gotten a better deal - mainly because information was withheld from them. I caught them doing this to me but they persisted to the point where they were being dishonest about answering some of the financial questions I had. Heads up for potential buyers Do not go here! If they have something that you like - Do not finance with them. They will provide you with high rates and tactically show you only banks that will fall into their favor. Go to your trusted local banks and most likely you will get a lower rate. Dont go for their extended warranty. There is a reason why they are always pushing for these warranty. If its a new vehicle you probably will not need it. Be cautious and stay safe.

Good people, unsatisfactory service on Prius C. Got charged 1500 for 120k miles and they didn’t finish the windshield wipers because of a part order. I came back in to get the wipers installed and they had no record of my service two weeks prior, tried to charge me more for the parts, and then changed their mind and didn’t replace the wipers. I am not impressed by their customer service and I won’t be back.

Sales department was great! Easiest car buying experience I have ever had. Bought the service plan at time of purchase. Their service department is drastically different than their sales department. I wish I would’ve never bought the service plan because every time I come in, the service department is extremely rude. Service writers act like it’s such an inconvenience when I come in for my oil changes every 5k miles. In fact, one just gave me attitude because I came in for a fluid top off, tire check, before a 2500 mile road trip. Wow. Really? Because that’s what Sales department implored me to do before big road trips.

I have a 2020 Corolla and they took such good care of me. They squeezed me in on a busy Saturday, when they were slammed. It was my Toyota Care so my last free oil change, and with Xmas coming plus the reason I came here is Im moving they knew I Financially couldnt afford any of the extras at the time and they werent judgmental or pushy. They still helped me and gave me 100% If you ever need anything for your Toyota and you are in the Davis area you should go see George and Kyara. Attention Do not buy any car from this dealership; I bought a brand new car in 2020, and the same day I found some issues with the car; I called the salesman Scott for a replacement, but he refuses for replacement, and he suggests fixing the car! Wow, I paid $28k for a new car not to pay this much money for the default manufacturer. And by the law, I have 30 days of refund or replacement. Do not waste your money and your time with this dealership. They will run around with you, and they will screw you, and you will not be happy.
Went for a recall pump replacement. It was done on time with no add-ons.

My new 2020 RAV4 hybrid broke down. The hybrid battery failed and it had to be towed. It took 2 weeks for a replacement battery!! They loaned me a Prius, much smaller, and then charged me for cleaning it. I drove it for 2 weeks and the interior was no different from any normal car use. They refused to return my car until i paid $35. $35 —-what ever happened to customer service and satisfaction. Silly.
A bad experience! My car stayed a whole week to do a super simple concert a 2018 car, I was without a card for a week and jeopardized my work!but the worst was the manager Mike he knew all this the employee who attended me left the papers all ready for him to call me so I can get the car they not call me! I spent 2 days calling and nobody knew about my car only Sunday morning I managed to get my car because the employee went back to work!
Every salesperson I communitcated with at Hanlees refused to offer me a lower price on a used vehicle i was interested in. I was told if I started the paperwork I could receive a better deal as they would take me more seriously. The sales manager was completely unprofessional and made no attempts to provide customer service. The only person who was honest and professional during the process was the finance employee. I will never service my vehicles at this location nor recommend anyone purchase a vehicle from Hanlees.
Over night drop off are life savers, thank you Enrique for letting me know about them. I have a busy schedule and normal hours usually do not work for me. Enrique let me know that I could drop off the car over night and they work on it the next day. Truly a life saver.
I just want to warn other potential customers about the low-quality of service in the service center:1. They initially scheduled me for a repair over the phone, I took off work, and then arrived for them to tell me that the parts were unavailable (didnt stop them from scheduling the appointment and having me go all the way there) and rescheduled me for a few weeks later2. Arrived for a second drop off appointment at 7am (the earliest time available), and waited outside for 15 minutes before I had to leave to go to work. At 7:15 I went inside to talk to someone, and was rudely brushed aside. When I finally cornered someone, I was told To wait outside in my car they would be with me eventually. Then they explained how the dealership was like a doctors office (their words), and even though a drop-off appointment may be scheduled for a certain time, you will usually have to wait for an indeterminate amount of time for them to process your drop-off.It would have been fine to wait if I had been told about this ahead of time and could have arranged a different ride situation, but the bottom line is that the staff were rude and disrespectful of my time.Be warned that any arrangements with this service center will be made with difficulty.

My parents and I visited this dealership in hopes of purchasing a new Highlander or RAV4. My parents were looking to test drive the vehicles, compare, and contrast and ultimately make a decision about which vehicle to purchase. During the entire time the sales associate kept making the same comment, “we are not pressuring you to buy a vehicle today.” However, when it came down to looking at prices and negotiating, it was pure pressure and sales tactics. The negotiation started by him telling us the Highlander was out of our possibilities and the RAV4 would be best. Also, the sales associate kept giving us the round about and would say “if I can get you X interest rate, and X monthly payment, will you buy the car TODAY?” He did this multiple times and would run back to his manager each time and tell us “let me see what my manager can do.” He continued to do this, and never actually talked about the price of the car (and we all know that’s what actually matters), or the interest rate, monthly payments, etc. Overall, they didn’t try to work with us. At this point my parents were clearly frustrated from going in circles, and towards the end he just had his manager come out and we didn’t see him again. To say we had a bad experience is an understatement. They only pressure you and are not willing to work with you. We had a MUCH better experience at Toyota in Vacaville; they were straightforward, patient, kind, and willing to negotiate. Most importantly, they didn’t PRESSURE US, and they broke down the price of the vehicle, interest rate, monthly payments, etc. Save yourself a headache and go to Vacaville instead.

I went in with a car in mind that I had seen online. I dealt with a sale person named Yaro, he provide excellent customer service, was able to help me get the financing I was looking for. I normally don’t like going into dealerships because there is always that one pushy salesman who will try to sell you everything but has product knowledge on nothing. This most recent trip into Toyota was different. I had run into Enrique a young balding male. This man was awesome he knew about the vehicles inside and out and was able to make deciding on something so much easier. Not once did he push me to rush a decision but he took the time to show me pros and cons of all the vehicles he even went and showed me some used cars that he thought would fit my needs. All in all Enrique was very knowledgeable and kind if you need a vehicle call him!
Parts department has terrible service, website states they close at 6pm we arrived before 6pm and they said that they were already closed for the day with no person in site.

Forget service after the sale. I bought a nearly new Lexus off their lot and after signing a ream of paper and excited about finally getting to drive my new car home was handed only one fob. When I asked where the other fob was, the salesman just shrugged his shoulder and mumbled thats all they had, but they could provide a number which I could call to arrange a replacement cheaper than would it would cost to go through the Lexus dealer.A day later, I noticed there was no front license plate nor a bracket for one. In one of the disclaimers they had me sign, I acknowledged that it was California law to have a front licence, so in a way I felt a bit culpable about not checking this too before completing the deal and driving off the lot. So anyway, I asked my salesman what he would do about it. He suggested I thoroughly inspect the car and look for the lost plate. I did that and after telling him, there was none to be found, he retorted that he didnt think there was any way he could please. Seems having two grievances is too much for them. It was only after I mentioned that it was them that transferred a car to me that was out of compliance with the law, did I get a response back--probably at the behest of the next level of supervision--that they would process for a new license plate through the DMV.
Enrique Rivera is, by far, the best! Super knowledgeable and helpful, especially if you’re like me and don’t know much in terms of cars... lol. I recommend him to anyone that is in need of car assistance ^-^

Please be aware that they will try to take advantage of you. Whatever deal you can get from them, you will get a much better one anywhere else. Drive 20 min to Vacaville, Fairfield or Sacramento. You will save a lot of money.

Never blame employees. Hanlees is an auto group that does it best to reincarnate all of those tactics we all despise from car dealers. You will find unnecessary dealer pacts, that add no value to the car. They arent up front about pricing, going in low to get you interested, only to show you the real cost of taxes and registration after you make an offer. These costs are around $3,0000. In this barbaric process you wonder why they pay car salesmen who cant deal with you. They must go and see what the boss man can do. After this, they offer you a rip off service plan. Rumors say this is a 50% commission item. My salesman told me the service intervals was 10k. Its five. I cant help, but believe, this BS is counter productive in the long run. It fails to establish trust with their valued costumers and we live in the Information age. The word does get out and prospective customers will go elsewhere.

After contacting Andrey after seeing his add, I was surprised by his knowledge. He was able to answer all my questions. That is very refreshing as most sales people at other dealerships werent able to even answer most of my questions. Once I came in, he already had the Tundra pulled up and waiting. From my first experience here, the dealership is way more functional than the Vacaville one.I had made an appointment and it was honoured and the car will be fixed in a timely manner.If you live in Davis, they offer shuttles to get you home or to any other location you need within Davis. They can even drop you off to the campus if necessary. If a shuttle isnt available, they order you a Lyft to get you to your location, as well.The staff is friendly and informative. The dealership itself is nice.Id highly recommend this dealership if you have a Toyota vehicle that needs servicing or something fixed.
My car was there for 5 days waiting on a check from my car ins. co. so that they could install the catalytic converter. My complaint is that they could have washed my car. I was very disappointed. There were dirty hand/finger marks on my doors. Vehicles should be washed after being serviced. They got paid $3200 for this claim and I figured Id get a free car wash.

Hello, I went into your salon and as a costumer I would like to leave a comment about the service, overall the service was good, the employees were nice, but just one employee stood out, his name was Jorge Sevilla Godoy. Jorge stood out in a bad way, he refused to even check/inspect the second problem in my car that we needed to get fixed(if he cant fix that problem, he couldve at least checked it and suggested where to get it fixed or he couldve told the he doesnt specialize in that, but he didnt do anything, he just denied and ignored the requests to fix the problem, I only had two problems in the car), also, unlike the other employees Jorge didnt show any sort of respect to me.
My experience here was great, thanks to Enrique he was very patient with me,went out of his way to answer all of my concerns and questions. He was also very attentive and conscientious through out the whole process, which I am very grateful for.
