This guy is awesome, I’ve been going to this place since I was a kid. He’s a dessert genius, made a 600lb chocolate Statue of Liberty in 1984 that was posted on the front cover of National Geographic. Always offers complementary fudge, 100/10 flavor.

Sunny, the sole proprietor, always has fresh dark and milk chocolate candy in various tastes. He also has almond chocolate brittle, as well as peanut and walnut. His blocks of dark, milk, and tricolor fudges are very tasty. Lastly, hell always ask if you would like a free sample for the road, after your purchase.

Possibly the best chocolatier in NorCal. An undiscovered gem, except for locals, Candy House of Davis crafts velvety smooth chocolate treats. The fillings are handmade and delicious, the decorations are lovely. Plus there are the clever chocolate bowls and solid chocolate figures for every holiday. This humble shop hides the best reason to splurge a few calories.

A Davis icon. Chocolatier Sunny and family are warm, welcoming and generous. The chocolates are delicious and beautiful -- I get boxes of truffles there for all special occasions. The fudge is amazing and all the artisanal chocolates for so many occasions! The prices are excellent, and they pass out free fudge and an on the house truffle each time! Love love love this place -- anyone who loves chocolate MUST check it out when in Davis.

An incredible place to buy chocolate fudge, truffles, and other things chocolate. The shop owner Sonny treats his customers like family. When its busy, you might meet his wife or other family members/friends helping out. Excellent selection of Christmas themed chocolate.The truffles he designs have an interesting geometric shape, almost like a pyramid, and he provides a card to help identify the type of truffle if you forget after you bring them home. The fudge absolutely melts in your mouth. I buy chocolate there for celebrations and Christmas as stocking stuffers. If you are looking for chocolate to give as gifts now is the time to get over there while the selection is plentiful. He has shipping boxes but you need to ship the product yourself. I cant say enough good things about this business/owner.

This is my favorite place to get chocolate in the area. I usually just get the fudge and/or truffles, but I am willing to be everything is fantastic. The owner is also such a nice guy!! If you like chocolate, Id recommend this local shop. (Also, the prices are super reasonable)

Its a cute little store a little farther from the UC Davis campus but I think that makes it easier to access. Ive gone here twice, and I have not been disappointed. The truffles and fudge are mouthwatering; I have yet to come across any of the flavors I didnt like. The fruit flavored ones are perfectly balanced (personal favorite: raspberry). The service has been kind and courteous during both visits. I wish more of my friends would come here.

The chocolate here is as good as this mans kind-hearted soul. Ive been coming here for 5 or 6 years and chatting with this guy is always a pleasure. Sometimes you have to wait a minute or two for him to wrap up working in the back and come up front, but this is a place of calm happiness and good chocolate. If youre in a rush, pick up some cheap candy from a gas station.

The owner radiates all the warmth and joy that you would expect in a choclatier. The fudge is divine and makes you radiate warmth and joy as well. And the children love all the millions of shapes on offer.

My kid has summer camp this week and the featured field trip was to the Candy House of Davis. My child was excited to see how the chocolates were made. The store canceled at the last minute- the night before!! A huge disappointment for all 24 kids in the camp, and it ruins the dynamic of the camp as well. I will not give this establishment their business anymore. Whatever their excuse was, they should have made a way to make it work. If you cant give back to the community for a one hour field trip, then you wont get my monetary support of your business.
