Situated in nearby Davis, The Artery is a cooperative art gallery that provides space to local artists who wish to showcase their work.The gallery is open to the public and offers a wide variety of local artworks, including oil paintings, watercolours, sculptures, photography, woodworks, ceramics, textiles, and handcrafted jewellery.

The Artery is the place that local artists and crafts people exhibit and sell their works. It is one of my main stops when I am down town. It is also the primary place I go shopping for unique and beautiful gifts.

We live in the Bay Area and the highlight of our drive to Tahoe is always a stop at the Artery. Ive been going since 1987. In my opinion it is Californias premier affordable art shop. Great art at great prices.So glad it exists!
