Great selection of alcoholic beverages! They have everything, lots of microbreweries and fun beers. Tons of nice wines, and spirits. Good custoer service, very responsible guys. A bit on the high end, but very convenient.

I love this little shop! They have a huge selection of Japanese snacks with many things I cant find at the other Japanese markets. Plus, they have a ton of cute anime items, stationery, and random cute household items. They also have a sweet hangout spot downstairs when we arent in quarantine. Also, the staff is always nice and helpful. My only complaint: the aisles are very narrow.

My buddies and I always come to this store when we’re in Davis. We always like to look around and sometimes we’ll get snacks, but we always leave with at least one anime keychain. Very fun Japanese store and I’d recommend it to anyone who likes any anime content! Owner is really nice too!

Moved about 45 minutes away from Davis last year and we still visit Kobe Mini Mart. Kids love the toy, candy and snack selections. Last Friday we introduced the store to a friend that still lives in Davis. It was fun showing her all the cool offerings and the downstairs area. We highly recommend this Mini Mart. Always a good experience.

This is an impressive selection of goods from Japan. Lots of Anime merch and Japanese snacks. Definitely has a bigger selection than typical Japanese stores.

Small store that packs a lot into it. Has some of my goodies in enjoyed when I was growing up in japan. My kids liked it.

Ive always come here since theyve opened but the past few weeks its been humid and didnt smell very pleasant either. Myu Myu Mart opened up across the street too and their prices are a lot cheaper!

I hate to give this shop a low star but if I could give them a 0 star i would. We like this shop but were not allowed to stay and shop due to the service dog we had with us. There is a sign on their door that said Service Animals are welcome but in reality they asked us to remove the service animal. We tried to explain that this request was against ADA rules, but the individual insisted that we take the dog outside because pets are not allowed. We even pointed it out that according to their own sign that service dogs are welcome however the individual still asked us to leave. We left the items we had in our hands and left. We even tried asking to speak with the manager but the individual there said the manager would ask us to leave too.This was reported to the ADA and until they comply with what their own signage states we can no longer shop here. I hope others that support the ADA and other service animals no longer shop here. I will have to use amazon for my Japanese items from now on.Update:In response to your reply, the only thing I can suggest is that you train your employees to recognize the difference between a service dog that is wearing a service dog vest and an emotional support dog. Your employees should also be trained on the questions that they are allowed to ask to determine the difference.

My wife and I have been coming here pretty regularly for a couple of months now and this is by far my favorite shop in Davis. Great selection of goods, fair prices, and the owner is super friendly.Please support small businesses, especially this one.

If I could I would give negative star to this shop. I couldnt believe what I witnessed today. The owner wouldnt let a young girl and her service dog get in the store. I am sure he wouldnt let an handicap to get in with his wheelchair maybe the wheelchair can destroy the shop. I hope this person sue the owner. This is law he cannot do that. Shame on you

Its a cool place to experience Japanese culture while in the Campus, but their Manga and light novel collection was relatively small, although it doesnt compare to a bookstore, you can probably find what youre looking for.

Not the best. Downstairs is nice but there can not be much more for this shop. Unfortunately, it probably will not last very long and considering the new lounge spot coming to Davis next year- this shop will end up just a quick spot. This spot is cursed and has been for many years. Its quite unfortunate.

This is a terrific shop! It has an assortment of snacks and cooking supplies upstairs, in addition to stuffed animals and a seating area in the lower level.

Words cannot describe my adoration for this store! At the very least it calms my frustration and incomprehension as why Davis has no Diaso (I mean seriously...) Anyway, they have a lot of great snack food and ramens and when you purchase them you can take it downstairs and claim the study table. I love that there are so many tables downstairs to study at also. Honestly, this place is perfect, or very very close to being perfect, and would be if the prices were just a teensie bit lower and more reasonable.

This place has a nice variety of various Asian snacks. Theres also a really nice space downstairs to either study, hang out with friends, or, since anime is shown occasionally, watch anime.

Very friendly staff and greet prices, their lounge area is always worth a look. I go here most days to buy lunch and sit for a while in the lounge.
