Audio Etc just completed a major upgrade to my home theater system, the fourth since its original installation some 25 years ago. This time, we’ve gone with a full 4K laser projector and required support equipment. I’m beyond impressed with the quality of the supplied equipment and technical expertise of Kirby, Sean, and the other technicians that spent many hours here making it all seamlessly just work. The 4K picture quality, especially from 4K optical media, is breath–taking. Streaming 4K content from AppleTV, Netflix, etc., is equally amazing.I also have to mention the dedication of Theresa, Kirby’s office manager. She always goes out of her way to make sure everything comes together… she’s truly a great asset and rep for Audio Etc.

This place is a hidden Jem! I was looking for specific speakers to install in my new home theater (Klipsch), Audio Etc is the only Authorized Dealer in my area. Not only do they have the speakers I want, they have EVERYTHING else! Kirby spent considerable time with me on my first visit and subsequent second visit with my wife. He is very knowledgeable and extremely patient, considering the multitude of questions I threw at him. He showed me several options, went over things I hadnt even considered and put it all in terms I and my wife could understand. They have several rooms set up as displays for practically every configuration. We greatly appreciate the time he spent not to mention giving us a demo of one of our favorite shows (GOT) in a room similar to what we are building. We definitely will be using Audio Etc for this project and our future 4 season room project. If you want quality Audio/video with expert advice, look no further than Audio Etc. You WONT be sorry!

Installation was good. System had issues within weeks of installing and they wanted to charge for a service call. They made it good by forgoing the charge. The down side is there wasnt any training of equipment use. Generally happy.

I was interested in the SVS Ultra Bookshelf so I stopped in and was greeted at the door by the friendly staff. I was ready for the hard sale push witch never came. John showed me around there store and the speakers I was interested in. I was allowed to sit back relax and really experience listening, he made me feel at home at the store. I spent over two hours with the speakers I was interested in and also was giving advice on how to correct my audio setup issues. Not once was I pressured to buy or hurry. The speakers I decided on were to big for me to move by myself once John realised this he offered to help me get them to my home.I cant compare them to another store or company, because I have never been treated so above and beyond.

Bought a Denon receiver based on my conversation with the owner,, Kirby Gaboury. Little did I know that their follow-up customer service is second rate!The office staff is full of fluff and arrogant! The office manager, Theresa, begged me to give them a good rating...for what, I dont know.When I called, 10 days after my purchase, to get some technical advise, the CSR agent, John, hung up on me because I asked him to help me link my Denon receiver to my Samsung television, purchased elsewhere. When I told him I could not get a link, he told me I cannot help you with that since you did not buy your tv from us. UNBELIEVABLE!!!! He proceeded to tell me that he had a customer, in-store, that was waiting for assistance and hung up on me!!!I WILL NEVER BUY from, NOR RECOMMEND AUDIO ETC. as a reputable company.There are too many other competitors who want my business and would beg me to make my buying decision from them. We are very pleased with an outdoor TV installed by Audio, Etc. Kirby was incredibly knowledgeable and patient while explaining our purchase options. Theresa kept us informed on our delivery and installation date. The installation crew was very polite and walked us through our using new TV. It was a positive experience all around!

Wow, I’ve been a customer for over thirty years. I recently purchased a “big boy” system: preamp, amp, speakers and an unbelievably turntable. Kirby and his staff are exceptional. I can’t recommend them enough. These people are passionate about the products they sell and the service they provide.

Audio Etc. Is an impressive place. You must go see it!

Three years ago I bought a pair of Definitive Tech BP7006s and had a less than pleasant experience. They treated me like more of a nuisance than a customer. I should have learned my lesson then, but more recently I stopped in to inquire about a pair of Golden Ear Triton 3 Towers as replacements and was again met with indifference. Maybe if you are dropping $10k or more, theyll show some interest. There is another high end audio dealer in Dayton that I visited recently while I was looking for a turntable and they spent two hours with me showing me various models within my budget and demoing them on various speakers and headphones. Needless to say, they will be getting my, admittedly, modest audio budget. Not just rich audiophiles need to apply there.
