Zach Finnegan was an outstanding salesperson and guided us through the purchase of our Volvo XC60. No pressure at all and he made us feel at ease. He was skilled with all the options and technology and quickly answered all our questions. I would definitely recommend Evans Volvo and Zach.UPDATE: Got a letter in mail in late May 2021. Less than 2 months after purchase. Evans is no longer a Volvo authorized dealer. Very disappointed that we have to drive over 100 miles now for authorized service now. We purchased the extended warranty too. Just sucks and sours my opinion of them.

He even drove behind me to drop off my rental car so he could give me a ride back to the dealership. They go above and beyond, and I’m thrilled with the car!

Worst experience trying to purchase a vehicle, ever! The lack of communication and transparency was reprehensible. After a week of their nonsense, I gave up and went to Volvo Cincinnati North. Had a new vehicle in 72 hours, and dealt with a competent, professional team there.

Was interested in the Care By Volvo program but wanted to test drive an XC40 before I committed. Scheduled the test drive easily and was greeted by my salesman Zac who was super friendly, update, and informative. Ultimately decided to go for the program and Zac was once again very helpful and professional when I came back to pick up my car. Would definitely recommend him to a friend.

Do not take your car here for service. We have had multiple bad experiences with this dealership. The sales process went smoothly but everything after that was awful. Our issues with the dealership occurred 2015-2017. There was a recall on our XC90 that required them to splice the main wiring harness of the car and they gave it back to us with the headlights, wipers, airbags and city safety system inoperative. We refused the car and they attempted a second try which initially was ok but down the road problems arose again. We ended up taking the car to another Volvo dealer and Volvo advised them to completly redo the entire recall since it had been botched up so badly. Service managers here were also rude. They scratched our paint near the engine bay and refused to cover the repairs. They also put a cut in our leather steering wheel somehow and also refused to replace or repair it. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere.

Parts and service were both super helpful and went above and beyond for an insurance claim.Some dealerships treat you like a stepchild if you bought your car from another dealer. Not these guys. Efficient, helpful, now I remember why I liked having my Volvo so much last time.Appointments scheduled quickly, they get you in the bay when you get there and take care of your concerns.

Not impressed with this dealership, we took our XC 90 in for the 10,000 mile service, the Volvo app not starting the car and the car went into limp mode they said. The Volvo app would not work And it went into limp mode because of an O2 sensor and it needed a software update for the Volvo app to work,They had to order the part so they gave me a loaner car until ours was fixed. The Volvo app still does not work,And they tried to charge us $220 for warranty work in the 10,000 mile service, after was all said and done we ended up only paying for the tire rotation and balance $60. Our Volvo app still does not start the car and we did not get our car wash. I would say if there are other Volvo dealerships close to you, I would look at those.

The dealership is especially poor with follow up after the sale. This dealership/service department has Exceptionally poor attention to detail and customer service. We recently took our XC90 in for a routine 40k Maintanence and a complaint of noise coming from one of the window motors. When picking up the vehicle they charged us 130$ for diagnostic fees and told us the vehicle was out of warranty. Prior to leaving we realized that they forgot to do the 40k mile Maintanence (another 2 days in the shop).They said they would refund us the diagnostic Fee which took 4 weeks and 3 phone calls to get our refund send out as our vehicle was still under its CPO warranty. 4 weeks later I had To contact the manager as the service representative told me he “forgot” about our refund, which was the 2nd time he forgot. When talking to the manager I told him they had misspelled our name on the invoice and to check the spelling for the refund check. He acknowledged the misspelling and told me he was correcting it, reading back the correct spelling. The check showed up with the misspelled name on it.With the level of quality and expense of vehicles from Volvo I would not recommend this dealership to work on my vehicle as they struggle to keep the front of the service department organized. I can only imagine the quality/expectation that occurs behind the shop doors.

Falsely advertised a vehicle in content and price and then would not match advertised price. then tried to ups-ell us. manager also stated they changed the ad so others wouldnt be fooled as we were and yet proceeded to email us an unchanged ad for the vehicle. I contacted Volvo about this whole matter- this is NOT how one expects to be treated at a respectable dealer. I hope no one else falls for this.

Ive had my share of terrible dealership experiences. That said, Ive had nothing but fantastic service at Volvo of Dayton. Daryl in the service department has bent over backwards to make sure my experiences are always great. Having a Polestar, I dont trust many people with my car, but would absolutely recommend these guys.

Terrible experience. Starting with finance shot gunning my credit app to 6 different lenders, and then 2 days post purchase found many issues with the car and other things that werent obvious from a short test drive. Email sales person to discuss and the only response given starts with telling me how all his customers love their Volvos, and that my model is one of their best sellers completely ignoring all of my issues. They know they have your money and youre screwed. Dont expect any level of after sales support from these guys. They only care about getting that commission.
