Almost a year late on this review! Had a remote start installed for my 2015 Tacoma. Great crew gave me details on my options and helped me choose the best system for my needs and a price that was in the budget. Came back for an install of a sub, unfortunately for me the appointments where booked out for a few months so I decided to do install my self. The team there helped me get all the components needed and walked me through what to expect. They even helped me out when I messed up the wiring job and I am happily cranking my tunes. I recommend all co-workers and friends whenever I am asked about car electronic needs.

So I stopped in yesterday, the manager asked me to come back today and get with their fabricator (Nick) about getting some work done in my Tahoe. I was extremely impressed with Nick. Really nice dude, that took his time and walked me through a bunch of options. Really appreciate his professionalism and patience.

Good group of guys. Know their stuff. Their box builder can build/make pretty much whatever you want. Very good work out of these guys.

So my tire blew completely out on 75. This was the closest exit. I drove on bits of tire and rim and turned into a gas station. Across the street was Car max and Car stereo max . Just let me say I made the right 1st choice☺☺👍. They not only stop what they where doing amd came to put my spare on, but they were so kind and sweet. Had a schedule appointment to get my windows tinted the man at the counter was very helpful in helping me decide what % of tint that I desire. Very professional and I was pleased with the work.

I went in not knowing what my options were for my vehicle and the salesman was very informative telling me of all the options available and helped me find everything i was needing. I bought a new radio with exactly what I was looking for. Very pleased. Dont hesitate to see them first you wont get the big box salesperson not knowing what they are talking about. Been there done that.

Store clerk was knowledgeable and helpful. He drew a diagram showing the correct way to wire my equipment.

Very nice staff, had issues with a head unit I was trying to get installed in to my tahoe. Dropped my truck off with them and 2 hours later had vehicle back with head unit working properly, installed into dash properly and decent price as well. Recommend for anyone needing audio installed or audio issues resolves.

I got a new stereo installed in my car about 2 years ago and Car Stereo Max did an amazing job and got it done quick, fast and in a hurry before I left for vacation. When I decided to get my windows tinted I knew exactly where I was going to go! Everyone there is amazing and so friendly. When I arrived for my appointment they took my car straight back and got it done in a timely manner. The staff made sure I was comfortable while I was waiting and everyone there took good care of me. My tint looks amazing and I couldnt be happier! I would highly recommend them!

The people are very friendly and helpful. Their prices remind me of a used car lot. We all know the lots that has no pricess on the cars. I was happy with the staff helping each other solve problems. One person couldnt find a speaker to fit in the rear of my vehicle. Another person heard the problem and quickly found a speaker that would fit. Within 15 minutes my vehicle was done. Then came time to pay. $185 to replace one easy to get to speaker. No harness or new wires were needed to replace the speaker. When i saw how much the speaker was on the receipt my face dropped. I am happy with their work. But for the price of one speaker i could have gone to best buy and redid my entire system.

Purchased and arrange for Viper 2 way remote start. Don Randall could not have been more professional and so far so good. The only negative I have so far about the product is that the trunk release button on the new remote has to be held until it chimes for the trunk to open. Also, outside the shop it says they do tinting but not at that location. I would subtract a star for that but Don just provides such a good experienced. Even was willing to wait for my ride to show up past closing.

I wanted somthint more compact so they hooked up a Rockford p300 12 inch and it’s great. They did a good clean and fast job. I will always go with them for now on. 5/5.

Called them after best buy sent me wrong install kits and pushed my already month long wait for install back another 15 days. They had EVERYTHING that I needed for install and got me in within 30 minutes of a phone call for installation. These guys definitely come here to work and not to play. Im giving this review because car stereo max didnt touch my car. Instead, they told me what I needed to do to fix my stereo installed and it worked. I happily recommend this company for your installation needs. Plus theyre open till 7.

We haven’t used them for service, but we did stop by for an estimate. We have a 2012 Nissan Pathfinder and wanted to know how much it would cost to have a Bluetooth and back-up camera installed. We were told that it would be around $900. Still considering this option....

Great experience, not under/over sold on what was needed. Remote start, headunit, and speakers installed and really enjoying it 3 weeks out. Up front about prices and time.

Went for simple DVD install. Power wasnt ran right. Had to manually turn radio off. Asked them if power was being used even if Im powering down the radio manually they said no. They didnt ask or check if I had a capacitor ran. Long story short, drained capacitor, then attacked alternator and battery and not to mention I had the tried to use video function and it didnt work. Even had e brake fully engaged to the max and nothing. 184$ for install is ridiculous as well. So after install and replacing alt,batt,and shop fee Im out damn near 800$. 👍cool guys. Shouldve went with my gut and stayed local and waited the extra week to get scheduled in. Smmfh

This is my second trip down from Greenville to the guys at Car Stereo Max for installations in my Ford F150s and I could not be any happier. Stand up crew from front to back. The install on my 18 F150 was perfect. The sound is RIDICULOUS compared to the OEM system. Well done gentlemen!

I took my Harley to Stereo In Dash, and I didnt like how it sounded. I took it back several times, without any luck. After talking to several friends and Buckminns Harley they suggested I go to Car Stereo Max. When I took my bike to the shop, a guy named Matt came out to listen to it, and I expressed my concerns and dislikes. He was very professional and even said that the install looked to be done well. Most shops bash one another, but he was not about that. He spent about 20minutes outside listening to my bike with me, and brought out a laptop to check the tune and flash on the bike. He did all of this without charging me a dime. When we walked into the store he introduced me to Don, the store manager and he asked me a series of questions while the other guy put away his flash and lap top tools.Needless to say we ended up removing all of the arc audio and focal from my bike and they completely designed a system to meet my wants. I couldnt be happier with the Hertz Hi- Energy speakers and the Rockford Fosgate amplifier. Stop in Check these guys out and get it done here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Had a stereo put in Fri and didnt know a fuse had blown and got home tried to lock it up and nothing worked on my keyring, no remote start, wouldnt lock or unlock. Called the guys back at CSM and I was asked if I wanted to bring it right back Sat morning. Of course I did in the middle of a snow storm and all!! They were great. Wont go anywhere else!!! Just want to say these guys did a great job installing a Rockford fosgate marine stereo in our boat, all was great when we picked up the boat went to the lake the following weekend had some issues, took it back to you guys with no questions asked you gladly replaced the head unit... Stereo is rockin on the waters now, thanks to the great job... Rodney S.

Put interior lights in my sons car last year, installed a Rockford t1 under my duramax rear seats. Sounds good

I went to this location maybe 1 1/2 months ago and I had all 4 of my door speakers replaced. After a few days all of my windows stopped rolling down and I could no longer unlock my car doors from the inside of my car. I took my vehicle back to them and the guy there supposedly fixed the problems so I thought. Now my 2 front windows are the only ones that will roll themselves down, however the back windows won’t roll down at all most days and I can’t control the automatic lock button nor the other windows in my car. I don’t recommend anyone to go to this location. Never again will I deal with them.

Mat appreciate for fixing my door speakers thats the reason for the 1on the other had i drove a hour for to be told i had to pay for my amp to add to the rack that i already paid for i didnt say anything about my blown r250 thats why don told me that it wasnt 2 om stable so he had to run my rear speakers off the deck when i return my doors skins thats when i found out that some how the rear channels was blown thats ok don that u lied to me about it so to make sure i called Chris at Rockford fosgate and she said also that they dont make any amp thats not 2 ohm stable so in return i would not take my 🐕 their for a bath cause when u fo back to pick up u might get a 🐱 lol
