I paid Mr. T Autocraft to install a dashcam and backup battery, then a bit over a year later paid them once again to take it out. They did not; in fact chopping ends off of the wires used to ground, and tap into the fuse box of my vehicle. They also discarded or kept other non-necessary wires and connectors that were included in the box of my new battery backup.They left the fuse tap in the fuse panel instead of removing it as they should have. The fuse they tapped into was for the windshield wipers, and it came loose after they cut the end of the wire, which caused the windshield wipers to quit working intermittently a few days later as I was driving in heavy rain on I-70. It is only luck that I thought to check the fuse box and found out the cause. If I would have taken the car to the dealer to check the windshield wipers I am sure they would have charged a diagnostic fee to fix the problem, that is if I was not in the hospital or worse due to Mr. T negligence in failing to remove the fuse tap properly.I sued Mr. T in small claims, and although I was awarded a small amount to cover the wires/connectors that Mr. T either kept or thew away, I was not awarded a partial or full refund for the install. I respectfully disagree with the magistrate who decided that even though Mr. T had left wires in my car and fuse box, this was somehow “proper” and compliant with industry standards. I disagree as I think that any reasonable person would consider this to be an incomplete, and careless uninstall of wiring. I am posing pictures of how I found this in my fuse box, and the public can decide if you agree with me.The installers and owner, I think his name is Jim, were very arrogant, rude and condescending in my dealings with them, and the owner bragged in court the Mr. T had been in business for over 50 years and does not need to advertise because they don’t have to. I also had gone to Mr. T initially as they had a great reputation, but I have since read reviews that state otherwise, and at least one stated that their quality of work and customer service had gone downhill ever since Jim became the new owner. He has only owned it for a couple of years and is very rude and arrogant.It is my opinion that Mr. T customer service is poor, attitude towards customer’s concerns and safety is non-existent once they have your money, and at least in my case and in my opinion, the work is incompetent. Perhaps the public can decide if Mr. T is deserving of having a great “word of mouth” reputation. As far as I am concerned, they do not and I urge others to seek tint and electronics installation elsewhere.

First time visiting Mr. Ts and the staff was great. Summer special pricing going on. The window tint was superb. The quality of work was amazing. I was even given specific instructions so I wouldnt damage the tint after leaving the shop. Thank you for the quality work and service.

Jim was so professional and personable. The service only took about 3 hours to do the full vehicle and it comes with a lifetime warranty. Mr.T has been in Dayton for a long time, my dad used them for all the family cars and as an adult now with my own car it only made sense for me to do the same. I’m so happy I did. I will be referring all my friends!

We have brought our last 5 cars to Mr Ts for window tint and the quality and craftsmanship cannot be beat. Never peeling or scratching when you care for it correctly! Taking my new 2021 to them soon. Also, they can turn around your car same day. I would absolutely recommend to anyone.

This was my first time going to this shop and I was very disappointed considering they been in business for a long time. I got tint on my windows on one of my window it had hair and dirt underneath the tint and it was noticeable. I went back to the shop to see if they can fix it and they said it not covered under the warranty but it their job to make sure the windows are cleaned from dirt before they applied the tint so I’m taking it to another shop to get that window done over. I will never go back to them for any of their services. Bad customer.

I got the nano ceramic window tint on all 4 doors, front and back windshield and my sunroof. I have 20% all the way around my Chevy Malibu except the front windshield which has 50% as well as my sunroof. I am in love with how it turned out. Looks extremely professional and high quality. Wouldn’t change a thing!

Stopped by around 930am to get two windows tinted along with a sun visor strip. The clerk told me that their shop was finishing up on two cars, that I would be next. I informed the clerk that maybe I should go home real quick (less than 2 miles away) so I could bring my pup back with me then kill time by walking around downtown. He stated that if I did that, I could lose my place in line so I stayed. Needless to say, 3 hours later, they still did not get to my car so I left in disgust. Wont be going back, I have a life too outside of work instead of sitting around for hours.

Extremely rude, unprofessional, I drove 90 miles to come here because i heard great things,someone i knew had a few cars done here, i should have stayed in my own city,they knew i was coming from out of town, told me to get there 15 min early, seems like even though I did and had a appointment at 9 am, everyone did the same thing,parking lot is extremely small, they have no waiting room what so ever which they never bothered to mention to me on the phone when they knew I was coming from out of town,it was raining outside so I couldnt even wait outside either, they said although I was the first person in the door it would be about 3 hours,I asked how when your only tinting 2 front side windows? They said there are a few cars ahead of you that dropped cars off last night,so because I had no where to go and was standing in the parking lot I stood there and watched them come out and take the car next to mine who btw pulled in after about 5 other people arrived but YET THEY SAID THERE WERE 2 CARS AHEAD OF ME DROPPED OFF LAST NIGHT! thats when i went and took my keys and found the lovely TINT SHOP ON WOODMAN DRIVE ! GOT ME RIGHT IN AS SOON AS THEY OPENED! HAS A BEAUTIFUL WAITING ROOM!

They did an excellent job with the window tint. Waited 7 days to open my window even though they said I could open in 5 days. I experienced not a single bubble appearance. Fantastic job and they sold me an excellent window cleaner as well. Also took another car to get an automatic starter put in and they did an amazing job in that as well. Overall very pleased and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking to get their windows tinted or remote starter. Im pretty sure they do other amazing things as well.

I used this place to get a remote start installed for my car. Its the type of remote start where you can use an app to start your car from your phone. When I arrived to pick up my car after the work was done, we couldnt quite finish the entire process to get everything working through my phone-- it wouldnt go through. I was told the*one* person who knows how to help with that was gone. I said Id try to figure it out myself at home. Well I never got it to work. So months later I made an appointment to go back, making sure the one guy would be there. All they could do was call the manufacturer customer service phone number, so why didnt they tell me this when I called to book the appointment? Wouldve save me a trip and time. We sat at hold for 20+ minutes. When someone finally picked up from the manufacturer customer service line, the problem turned out to be that Mr. Ts had a typo with one letter in my email address when they set up an account for me at installation. Better attention to detail would have saved a ton of time and provided better customer service!

They took a look at my video screens that was stopped working and determined it was the actual units. The dealer wouldn’t even do that. Then Had them install new video screens (I bought online) in my Yukon. Saved me over $1000 by not going through the dealer!

Got a price over phone on a remote start reconfirmed we I got there pickup was a different price 80.00 higher only received one remote...found the business was sold a few years back never again

I was referred by my coworker Kevin B. I needed my driver window tinted because I was in a hit and run that ruined the whole drivers door. The body shop unfortunately didn’t do tint so I took it down to Mr. T Auto Craft. I called on a Friday afternoon and was scheduled for the next morning. When I arrived there were warm smiles and a nice clean waiting area for my toddler daughter and I to sit. It wasn’t a long wait at all and I definitely appreciate the quality of labor and customer care.

They do all my tint for all my vehicles for over 20 years. They are very friendly. Great value as well.

Mr. Ts has installed my last 2 remote starter and I love the fact that I dont have to go outside to start my car anymore. Came in to get my remote start checked, which I bought and had them install...they were very polite very attentive and quickly and professionally reset it for me. I have had them replace my headliner, put in my bluetooth radio which I got from them also purchased and had my speaker and amp put in, as well as alarm system...any problems they will get you together in a prompt manner. Had our car tinted with ceramic tint. Not only were we impressed with the quick service and the quality work. But in the past any long distance trip I would get a bad sunburn but just drove to Florida without a burn at all.Unlike with a lot of fly by night shops, Mr. T auto Craft has been around a long time and I can trust they will be around in the future if any issues pop up. A warranty is only worth while if the shop will be around to support it and I know that wont be an issue here.

The customer service was very lackluster. I came in to ask questions about receiving a service for my car they pointed to a list of prices in the window. I also shared that I had specific concerns about being pulled over with dark tint and was told” It’s Ohio, you are always gonna have a problem.” I had questions about specific types of tints and they still were very uninvolved and pointed me to the list of pricing in the window again. Not once did anyone offer to come out and look at my car or take the time to explain in detail what my options were. I was very disappointed considering this company has been downtown where I work and live. I was prepared to spend Thousands on not only my windows but a sound upgrade. Don’t bother if you’re looking for someone to be helpful and take the time with the customer. Go to the Tint Shop instead, the customer service is impeccable. The owner is willing to take the time to explain your options without hesitation or irritation.

I was quoted a price and the amount changed three weeks later. I felt like they had me exactly were they wanted me, because I had to be drop off !Be aware during this difficult time they are secretly giving themselves raises like congress!

My husband called Mr. T on Monday morning and was told he could come Thursday first thing in the morning and have our car tinted by 12 noon.We get there before 9am and we are the second customers to arrive and we give our info, give the keys and leave. By 120pm we head over thinking they should be done soon. As we pull in and our car wasnt even started on yet. My husband goes inside and the guy basically acts lost and explains we could reschedule for next Thursday. My husband declines and as he leaves they tell him no other tint place will be able to get it done sooner but he still walks out the door...We called another tint shop on woodman and was served in exactly 1 hour. Weve gotten 2 other cars done here at Mr. Ts and this would have made a 3rd. The situation was handled unprofessionally and they really didnt seem to care either. My husband says he wont be back.

Recently purchased a 1999 Mazada Miata without a functioning head unit or door hardware. Poked at it a little bit and decided to seek out a professional. Online search led me to Mr. T Auto Craft. I was on a budget, on a very unreasonable time crunch with less then 48 hours to get the system installed for a vacation road trip. (Yes Im a procrastinator) That said the knowledge of the staff at this location is impressive. They were able to immediately build me a quality system that met my needs, time table, and budget. I got my windows tinted a few weeks back. Tint looks very nice: no bubbling, hazing, or peeling in sight. Makes any car look sharper without costing an arm and a leg. I managed to get all my windows but my front one done for less then $200 (which includes discount on website), which was the most cost effective I could fin din the area. Ill report back in a few months or so if anything has changed.

Drove down from Greenville Sat morning 9-5 was there at 9:15 but apparently they open when they feel good. They never did open. I would call if to see if they are open especially on Sat.
