West Marine always has had my back! Great product and service !!!

The best customer service of any west marine store I’ve visited!! My new favorite store.

If you are looking to receive your product in a timely manner you really should look elsewhere. We ordered a transducer extension cable due to be delivered the end of April. Called the online customer service they said it showed deliver to the store 5/5 called the store they said they did not have it in perhaps coming on the truck Friday 5/7. Called and went to the Store late Friday and there were 6 employees on the floor and my husband and two customers. They advise it was a very large shipment and they had not finished processing it. Called back Sunday they still had not finished processing the truck. Asked us to call a different manager on Monday and the girl the handles checking in the inventory to see if they finished the truck. Independently ordered it again from Amazon and it was free next day to my house. Very seldom use them and once again are reminded why. We are still waiting for a call to say they have found the order. They can keep it now already installed and up and running no thanks to them. You would think with all those employees standing around and no customers to serve they should of had that truck unloaded by now. There are better marine supplies store just up the road. They will continue to service the three commercial boats we run and we will see how far this customer service takes this company.

One of the better stores in my opinion. Dave helped with some questions on the Lowrance sonar gps recently installed. Will drive a bit further to visit this store from now on.

Better selection than your average store, but seems like there should or could be more to choose from. No crowds, no line. Prices are reasonable.Maybe it will recover as people start venturing out. But is is mid-July...

This is literally the worst company ever. I called about my order I was told it was on the truck and being shipped today then I get an email that it was canceled and they fulfilled other orders ahead of mine. Dont order from this company their customer service is the worst

Overpriced on their parts for boats to go to surplus Marine in Daytona Beach better prices

They sold me a throw rind that mildewed real bad and did nothing about it so I told the manager to keep it and put it in there front window to scare off customers like me that will NEVER come back, I have a Port Supply Account and spent thousands there every year. Not any more, If they read this they should fire that manager as he was very rude and the other employee commented that it was defective!

I have the opportunity once a year to fish the Red Snapper season in the Ponce Inlet area. This West Marine has been an excellent source for the terminal tackle that I needed to purchase. If given the choice, when being in an unfamiliar town, to go to an authentic tackle supply or Walmart for fishing equipment needed, West Marine is always my choice. Why? Its almost a sure thing that they will have what I need, saving me time.

Always helpful and will price match.

This location is short on customer service. They normally have a good selection with above average pricing. I like their rewards program and on line systems. Tough to get assistance in the floor. Went on line to buy my new depth/radar equipment.

These people are there to take care of you and thats just what they do. Five star indeed

Im not into boating nor do I have a boat but when I decided to redecorate two rooms of my house of a nautical theme they were very helpful.

Be careful of the electronics you buy. That demo display “IS NOT WHAT YOUR BUYING” !!! That is what the salesperson needs to learn before playing the “expert in knowledge role” all while making the sale

This place is so unbelievably over priced that I recommend everyone really do a lot of online shopping and research before even walking into this place.

Always my place of LAST resort for boat stuff. Prices are very high and stock is very low. Poor knowledge base in most stores. I can always do better on price and delivery elswhere or online.

Great store, location is easy in and out. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Changed to five stars for many reasons. PRICE MATCH! A store that gets it. Online shopping is killing local retailers and they fought back. The staff is amazing. The Manager is approachable and always on the floor. The young man that is usually behind the counter for the reels is not only a great fisherman but super knowledgeable on the reels and even offered to hold a fishing pole for me that someone would have come to buy in 30 minutes. There are a few new additions since my last visit. One in particular was a favorite from the big chain down the street that Im glad to see there. Youve got a faithful customer for life.

Always great selection. Great spot to find things you never knew existed. I still prefer to buy the majority of my parts & accessories from my local shops.

Talk to Gordon he is very knowledgeable and was extremely helpful with us from thru hauls to a transducer and even chat plotters! Go see him at west marine they will price match as well.

The only reason I did not give them one star is because they are fully stocked, a one stop shop. When I called on the phone and asked for inventory status on an item I was told just come in Im sure we have it . When I came in three employees were gathered around the register although there were no customers to ring up, leaving the customers in the aisles without any assistance. I guess their conversation pays them, I thought it was the customers that dropped coin in the till. This is not the first time Ive experienced this here. I dont need to make a trip if there is no interaction, I can use the internet.

Best customer service of any place Ive ever been. We particularly appreciate Zack talking us through everything from boat maintenance and repair to fishing techniques. Will definitely be going back!

The Daytona stores one of the only stores in the area that carries Advent reels fishing reels I got it I paid a good price for one the service was outstanding and the price was right

I hadnt shopped with this store until recently. I found them online when looking for some new Sperrys. They bad an awesome sale that I could not refuse. I bought 2 pairs, a few shirts and a hat. My order was shipped to the local store of my choice. Free shipping was offered but I wanted to check out other things at the store so I opted to go pick it up. Good selection in store as well as online. Will definitely shop here more often. The associate that helped me check out was very friendly and informative.

Not only are they the most expensive place in the area but they are not accepting cash either. You have to use card as payment.

If not in a hurry order online as the prices are steep. On a good note though very pleasant place to shop. Usually very knowledgeable people working there.

Deceptive specials . . All have conditions ..half stuff advertised not available . . Many items no price . . No place for a deal but overpriced everything !!

Prices seem high but they do carry a lot of stuff. I prefer Bobs in Port Orange.

Awesome service even though I didnt buy anything.

On Sunday 06/12/16 i tried to buy at the Daytona Beach Store a SS Flag Staff Replacement and about 3 of 1/2 cord reinforced water hose (to be used as a bushing) for the flag to correctly fit my flag socket. I brought both items to the register and the cashier said she needed to get a price for the hose. I said it was market at$ 2.07 per foot on the shelf. She disappeared for 10 minutes and came back with a foot of hose and said that was the only way she could sell it to me. I did not need a foot and would have wound up throwing away most of it (polluting another landfill). I asked to speak to a manager and she said what about.!!! In the end I left the merchandise and the store (planning to never return) So much for good customer service. It was not the money and if need be would have paid the 2.07 for the few inches of hose, It was the waste and the incompetence. I filed a compliant on the West Marine site and no response. Being a very long term customer I figured at least a phone call to someone in their customer support management was in order. After holding more than 18 minutes I am ready to give up. I also tried a Facebook message with no response.Captain Richard Holtz

Awesome staff, great store.....I work at a boat dealership and shop at West Marine for a lot of the products I need in boating and fishing....store policies and perks are hassle free.....recomend shopping here....

Manager answered phone and wasnt very helpful. The way he talked to me I got the impression he thinks women are stupid.

Daytona Beach store,phones dont work,cant call and reserve a part,nobody knows where anything is. Save your money and shop somewhere else,you will save money in the end.
