Had Magic Doors replace our garage door. Office staff and the technician who did the actual work were very responsive to any questions and professional. Everyone at Magic Overhead Doors was friendly, and the quality of the workmanship was excellent. The price point was more than fair and competitive. If you need a garage door you should consider this company.

Cant say enough good things about Magic Overhead Door (M.O.D). After having truly awful problems with our builder, who we fired, D. J. at M.O.D helped us figure out exactly what we needed for our new RV garage which has some pretty large doors. We were so confident in his recommendations, and satisfied with their proposal, that we felt no need to even get a second one. We were kept informed about the manufacturing progress of the doors, and they were ready on time. The installation crew arrived on time and worked very hard for about three days to get the job finished. And, most importantly, the doors look and work GREAT! Well be in touch with D.J. in the future to replace our house garage doors and openers that are now 27 years old. We highly recommend Magic Overhead Door.

Couldn’t be happier with the whole process. We got estimates from 3 different companies and chose Magic because the sales associate was so knowledgeable and patient with my questions. Gave a small deposit and when our door was ready they called to schedule installation. Installation techs arrived on time and were extremely polite and respectful, and clearly experts at what they do. Hauled away the old door, cleaned up after themselves and moved things back where they were in my garage. Magic arranged for the county inspection which passed this morning. I bought a rental from a seller who prepaid Magic Overhead Door, Daytona Beach, $1891.00 mos. before I came along, that was finally installed 8-12-21, after I closed, after a slew of calls from realtors & owner past & present. The gals who answer the phone are very polite but Customer Svc. ended there. The garage door install is awful, & when I asked for my keys, the mgr., DJ, said an installer gave my keys to, ‘someone @ the rental,’ refused to direct me to a supervisor & hung up on me. The owner, Brady Ruck, was worse. My $1891 door leaks sunlight, vermin, weather & some guy (?) has my keys.NEVER pay non-refundable deposits, prepay, or believe reviews that all read like they were written by Tolstoy.

Service tech arrived on time. He changed the springs, replacing some that Precision had installed previously which were too light, balanced the door after weighing it to get the proper spring rate. He lubed everything and then cleaned up. The charge was exactly on the quote. I dont know what he could have done that would have been better. The door is smooth, safe and quiet.

My husband and I hired Magic Overhead Door to install a garage door opener in our new home. They took 2 weeks to cash our check. Coincidentally the day they decided to cash it, was less than 12 hours before my husband’s direct deposit went through for that pay period and our account was $10 short to cover the $400 check.I called and spoke with their office manager after finding out we were charged a fee by our bank, as well as a $20 fee by this company for the check not clearing. She said that she would talk with the owner about them depositing the check such a long time after the work was done and that he would waive the $20 fee. I never heard anything from her again so I assumed that they were aware that this problem was definitely on their end and not ours.About 3 weeks later, I get a bill for the same $20 fee that she said she would get adjusted. I ignore it and figure it must have been a letter that’s sent out automatically. Another few weeks later I get another bill, this time with a note threatening to try and put a lien on our home if we don’t pay them the $20 fee, that was again their fault due to not cashing the check in a timely manner. My husband is a veteran and we have 6 children. To some a $20 fee might not seem like a big deal, but it is to our family.This has been one of the most unprofessional dealings I have ever had with a company. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Solid company, solid product. After getting an estimate from 3 other companies, magic overhead was the best priced and had the most solid product. They are were prompt! Their sales guys knew and went over every option, considerations, and warrenty question, to the T. From sales to install, these guys were simply the best, professional, attentive, they took their time on the install, and it is beautiful.I also have done a lot of research on, garage door doors, their hardware, steel grade and gauge, insulation, hurricane rating, operators, weight ratings, ect, ect and HASS is SOLID. Magic overhead door offers both HASS doors and liftmaster operators, and both are sturdy, reliable products.Thanks again guys :)

And the installers were fantastic. But most importantly they delivered The Best Customer Service. The garage door delivery was delayed due to Covid. So they suggested installing the new opener on my old door temporarily which worked out great and no extra charge. Then the garage door manufacturer discontinued the door we had meticulously selected. And unbenounced to me, Magic Overhead forced the manufacturer to significantly upgrade the door to match the design we selected. And we love it and we love Magic Overhead Doors! Highly Recommend.

Hey folk do yourself a favor stay away from this company. You will be making a big mistake they are liars and crooks. I ordered the overhead door with shirt panels PJ was the salesman. 2 or 3 days later he called me to see if I had made up my mind I told him I am thinking about changing the shirt panels to the long ones because it looks elegant. I was stated that I can at the same price he said yes and I would get back to him. He called a few days after and discussed the change before and agreed, so I gave the amount on installation day and they did not install what I wanted, very disappointed. The installers told me they can change just to notify PJ and he should take care of it. I called and we discussed as he stated will get back to me after a couple of days, he emailed me the he would arrange to change the panels. Couple of days later got a letter from the vice president of the company notifying me that they will not honor what we had spoken of, that people are accustomed to try and pull a fast one or scam them. That really hurt my feelings as I am an elderly person and I would not do such things. After he didnt even have the permit for the city to inspect the work, what does that tell you folks. I know they will respond and try to protect their business but the damages are done and that is not a proper way if doing business. Shame on him and this company for what they have done. I am 75 years old and just took advantage of me, remember what goes around comes around.

What a wonderful company to deal with.One of the springs broke on my garage door and rendered it useless. I didn’t know how heavy a garage door is and now understand how much work those springs do.I went and saw Magic Overhead Door to ask advice and the office staff Trish & Patty, could not have been nicer. I cant say enough good things about this company. My garage door would not close and had broken away from the arm that is attached to the motor. I called them at 8:00am. They rearranged their schedule and came at 9:00am. It was fixed by 10:30. The customer service from the office staff to the technicians was impeccable. So friendly and going out of their way to help me. I thought the bill was going to be three times as much as it was. If any one ever needs anything done regarding garage doors...I HIGHLY recommend Magic Overhead Door. Also being a senior citizen who is a widow I have been taken advantage of by people Ive hired to fix things in my house. Not this business!!!! I called them, they came to install within 2 days which was a pleasantsurprise, because apparently they were back ordered because of Covid. Our garage door gave out, husband attempted to fix & totally failed, lol. I had seen quite a few great reviews for Magic Overhead so I called. I explained my dilemma to the woman who answered, and she was super nice! We scheduled an appointment just to find out what needed fixing & how much it would cost. The gentlemen came out, surveyed the damage with no fee. I received my estimate and it was a lot less than I anticipated, as they had to revamp the whole thing and the estimate included 2 new remotes & a outside keypad. I set appointment for the repair. Both times the gentlemen came out, they were on time ( actually a little early), they were courteous and pleasant, they were very patient when they explained things to me, and made sure I understood everything.before they left. They even tried to work quietly as they knew my Grandson was sleeping. Very honest, kind, respectful, hard working group of people. Definitely highly recommend!

Needed a broken torsion spring replaced. Called the national company who installed the door. They wouldnt give me a firm price until they saw the door. They made the damn door and had to see it to give a firm price to replace broken springs- doesnt give you a warm, fuzzy feeling.Called Magic, got a firm price over the phone, and they were out here within a few hours. Brian, the tech, did a great job and the price was a 1/3 lower than the ballpark price of the other company.I can heartily recommend this company.

Called Brady the owner to have him send someone out to quote a replacement gate opener. He sent Chris out who first looked to see if my existing 18 year old gate opener could be fixed before quoting me a new gate opener. I had another company out and spent over $600 and still did not fix gate opener so I decided to just replace it. Chris was able to get it working for $95.00 and told me he didnt think I needed a new one. The honesty was refreshing since they could of just sold me a new one. Highly recommend. A spring broke on my garage door, and of course the door wouldnt lift. These problems always seem to pop up at the wrong time. In this case it happened on a Friday evening, and I was planning on leaving town in 4 days for a week, but suddenly I had the door problem. So I contacted Magic Overhead door Monday and they came out the next morning. Replaced the springs, adjusted and lubricated the chain a bit and were done. Very professional service, and my vacation was saved.
