Bought a vehicle on the X-plan. Traded-in a vehicle as well, which was the first transaction. When it came time to finalize the new vehicle purchase, I had to ask for the invoice (which should have been provided as part of the purchase paperwork package). I noticed that I was paying $798 more than the X-plan invoice stated. When asked, I was told it was for Wheel locks ($399) and Door Edge guards (another $399). $399 for wheel locks? The last time I bought a new vehicle, they charged me about $25 for wheel locks. When asked about the door edge guards, they gave me the same price. I researched door edge guards the next day, and I think I could have gotten them for about $40 in materials and maybe (maybe), $120 in labor in the after market. I happened to be using incentives that were expiring at the end of the month (transaction occurred on 9/30 at about 545pm). I decided to just let it go instead of walking out and having to grab an Uber home.I will not be purchasing any vehicles from Village Ford anytime soon. Until Ford gets it dealer network to get rid of these charades, it will continue to the weak link in their sales chain. One saving grace---the vehicle is very nice.
Absolutely, irresponsible, idiotic customer service! Don’t know what is happening in the sales department but if you are considering to buy parts from Village-Ford, don’t even think, save yourself time and money and do business somewhere else. Try, calling the parts department, you will probably need about 20 attempts and leave multiple voice mails, before and if, anyone responds. I have placed orders for multiple parts while rebuilding my engine, the people that work in the parts department don’t know what they’re doing, I received multiple packages with wrong parts, damaged parts and lost packages. Overall I waited 3 months for something that could be delivered in a week. And trust me it’s not because of COVID, it’s because Village Ford employees, don’t care about their costumers!!! Do not do business with Village Ford.......

Pete was my contact at village ford service department. He was constantly keeping me updated on the status of my truck, despite waiting on parts. Nothing they can do about that. No hassle no questions put a new motor in my truck due to a spun rod bearing. John the service manager also very helpful and willing to make sure my experience was seemingly hassle free.

Have been trying to purchase a car through this dealership, however the salesperson is incredibly hard to get a hold of, thus far hes only been available while Im working. When I try and return a call, it always goes to voicemail. Have put the $100 deposit towards this car already but I am going to have it refunded and continue my search. The salesperson is also really condescending about home delivery options, keeps asking when I can come in to test drive even after scheduling a date and time for home delivery. Dont try this dealership if you need your car brought to you, apparently they will say they can, but then go back on it later. I guess I should have just gone with carvana, instead of trying to get a better deal from a semi-local dealership. My day off work today, I thought they were going to bring out the car, but have only been playing more phone tag with them this morning trying to get ahold of the sales person about the car I wanted. Too much hassle!!!

I liked how easy it was to make the appointment on line, and they confirmed it both by email and text. They sent a reminder the day before too. Village Ford kept my truck for a week in order to put on a new starter. After driving it for about 15 minutes it began to smoke profusely from the engine. I pulled over, and much to my surprise antifreeze was spraying over everything under there. When it cooled down, I could clearly see that a hose was disconnected. They should have known that before they returned my truck.Incompetence is unacceptable!!!

I live in New Jersey and my car broke down on a trip in Dearborn, MI. By the time the tow truck took us to Village Ford, it was past closing time and the door was locked. I was desperate to knock on the door and, not expecting to see a lady inside, I shouted for help. She(Mary?) opened the door, asked my car status, called Jim, who was still there. Jim helped us fill out forms and confirm the contact information, thus delaying their return from work for helping me. They are responsible and helpful, I am very grateful to them! Back in New Jersey, they had calls and texts to reassure me about the progress of repairs.Now I have received my car and it has been completely repaired. Because Village Ford dealer service department can’t figure out how to schedule work, they want me to leave my truck for 2 - 3 weeks for a repair. They want it sitting here the whole time until they are ready to work on it. Meanwhile I have to pay for a rental car. Great customer service...Also the “Quick Lane” oil change service is going on two hours now...#VillageFord

Frist Pete the service advisor was great. When I took my truck in I had another service advisor before Pete he was not informing me the status of my vehicle but Pete took over and got my truck looked at and taking care of also, got me in a rental for no cast to me for the delays. I would recommend Pete he was great.
Really frustrating experience. First, I called about a specific used vehicle and was told it was available and to come look at it. Left immediately and drove 25 minutes from Plymouth to get there only to be told that it had been sold and delivered over an hour ago.We were told to park in the Bob Evans parking lot. Seems really unprofessional, and since I walk with a cane due to health issues, it was also very inconvenient.We were taken into a small office that thankfully had plexiglass on the desk, because our sales person was unmasked and said rather proudly that he is unvaccinated. Ive been a type 1 diabetic for 35 years, if I get sick I could be in serious trouble. Thankfully we are vaccinated and had masks on but I should have followed my gut instinct and left then.Not only did I feel like we were talked over, but it seemed to be an issue that I wanted to take any used vehicle to my personal mechanic to get checked before purchasing. Every other dealer i have been to has encoraged me to do so. I wont be buying from this dealership.

I have a mixed review while the Experience at Village Ford was good the F150 i purchased lacks one major option that i am now told was not park of the trucks package. So let me explain! I purchased an FX4 so we could use it to go camping, we’ll we did during the Fourth of July 2021 weekend anyhow we camp in tents though we could use the onboard power system to power small devices while siting at our camp site. Surprise! Surprise! Well after watching the owners manuals videos or even trying goggle searching we couldn’t get the on board power system to work when the vehicle was turned off so after hours of frustration with resetting or searching in blogs on line we gave up trying to operate the on board power system with the truck not running and decided to wait to call the dealer once we returned from our camping trip. We speak to our sale rep who doesn’t know what we are talking about and they send us to the service department who tell us they have to research what we are asking for and they will call back. We get a call back later that day that tell us that the on born power system in our vehicle can’t be use in a continuous method with the truck not running yet all the video say it should be a feature in the dashboard. Well long store short kind of a worthless system if i can’t use the on board power system to power anything if the truck isn’t running all night at the camp site. Thanks FORD motor company for designing a power system i can’t use. Your truly Dearborn Michigan Disappointed owner
A bad experience. After Sherri, our sales person, did all the work of gathering our information, showing us cars and submitting our information for approval. We never got a chance to sign our loan agreement.We ere given a next day 9 am appointment to complete the transaction. I have to get up one and a half hours early from my normal twelve hour a day work schedule to keep this appointment.Despite people being there when we arrived at five minutes to nine, no one came to assist us at the service desk. We waited for ten minutes with no assistance. We left and went to breakfast. Thank GOD there are other Ford Dealers right down the street in either direction that will be happy to take my money.
All went well except the 4 bald tire that was on my 2019 Ford Ranger that purchase on 10/13/2019. Now it being tow with a flat tire.
I met a couple of good guys i felt i needed to give mention to. Tom and Steve. Although you guys didnt make a sale, it was a pleasure having the interaction that we did. You guys were safe and very pleasant to deal with. Thanks again for treating me like a human being, which these days it is sorely missed. My 2013 Focus had yet another transmission breakdown and I ended up getting it towed to Village Ford. I was told it would take a few days to get to my car and that I should expect a call with the details? The texting system for contact and information fell flat and I ended up calling. I learned that the TCM had failed again and my repair would be under warranty and that the part was on backorder and at best it would be two weeks? I wasnt offered a loaner and when I asked I was told they currently didnt have one to offer. At week 3, the part had come in and my car was quickly repaired. I understand the constraints the service personal are under and ultimately the failure is on Ford and even while they lost a class action for the transmission issues, there is no true way to resolve the core problem without replacing the entire transmission I was told?
My sales person Mark was very professional and very knowledgeable of the Ford Escape vehicle.
We had the 99 point inspection and oil change. They suggested coolant change and some filters. It wasnt clear if this was because the car had 60k miles or if the inspection revealed the need. A good place with quick service I just wish the inspection provided more details.

I was in need of getting into a new vehicle with lower monthly payments and I am so happy I went to Village Ford. I started by going to their website to look at inventory and they had a great selection and their online payment tool gave me an accurate idea of what my payment would be before even stepping into the dealership. Once at the dealership Sherry and Bob took my old vehicle to get appraised and gave me a fair offer I could not refuse. They got me into my new vehicle quickly and made everything easy on my end. I highly recommend Village Ford and will be going back to them for any future vehicle purchases.
The service department is very efficient. Went in to make an appointment and left with a loaner vehicle. They took my car in right away.
The price that includes the tire rotation and 34 point inspection is unbeatable. The only issue I have is they made my wife sign a waiver before she could leave because of how bad the brakes were and gave around a $850 quote for the repair. My dad who has been a mechanic for 45 years looked at the brakes and said that if it wasnt for one set that is getting bad hed leave them until next summer. I dont need new rotors or calibers, just pads and it cost me $110. I dont know if they were just trying to gouge my wife because she was a woman or they have some very specific specs they have to follow but in my opinion they tried to sell us something we didnt need and over charge us to boot.

Honestly what a horrible experience .I came in to buy a truck I seen online and got the bait and switch.Was told no lender would pick me up and that was a lie. I was approved for another truck that was more expensive......They sold the truck i came to buy to someone else mind you I was at the dealership when they opened and was the only person there.And that 17.99% interest is for bad credit people not myself.My car was dirty was not clean,still had CD in the player. Was told I would get a car wash when i came back In addition the brakes are squealing .I have not had the car for 2 weeks.When I sit down I will send a letter off to the owner of the dealership and Ford Motor Co in regards to how I was discriminated against at that dealership.I was wondering how long it would take someone to ask for feedback regarding my purchase. Really i was forced to give a star .

Robert Palmer, SYNC Specialist, met with me twice this week. I have an issue with Android Auto not giving turn-by-turn directions in map apps and I cannot use the steering wheel buttons to answer or end telephone calls.The first appointment, he was very thorough with suggestions to resolve the issue; however, nothing seemed to work. The second appointment was to be sure SYNC 3 is up to date and try other options. We finally got the turn-by-turn directions to work! It appears the issue is definitely with Android Auto and hopefully a fix will be coming out soon. Per online research, its a very common issue.Technology aside, Robert is a pleasure to work with, clear in explaining what to do and very thorough in trying to figure out whats going on. Village Ford is a great dealership as is their service department.

Only a 1 day repair but ended up keeping my car for 3 weeks, without updates or phone calls. Misdiagnosed (a module in dash). When I finally picked car up, it had 225 unexplained miles on it with low tire light on and a rattle in the front end. Car was filthy inside both times I picked it up not to mention, my paperwork from gloveboxes were on passenger seat and floor. Dash board piece looks a little uneven and console has a chip in it. WOW! Needless to say, I will be filing a lawsuit. Havent been to a dealership in years (other than to buy a car) and definitely wont be back.
Recently I had suspension work done on my 2002 Ford Explorer; first the rear then the front. My car went from the ride of a luxury car to the ride of a piece of junk within a month. It feels as though quality parts were taken off and replaced with cheap knock offs. I always thought that when you have work done on your car it should feel the same or better not worse. The service guys were nice I just feel my genuine Ford parts weren’t genuine Ford parts but replacement parts.
So happy you require appointments, I hope you continue that process it makes the experience less troublesome.

First visit to Village Ford with my new Edge lease. I was happy and relieved to see the precautions being taken with regard to social distancing/pandemic. All staff that I spoke with were very nice and helpful. My only suggestion would be to place some small tables (perhaps plastic) outside where the chairs are for customers that are waiting for their vehicle. Would be nice to have something to set a bottle of water on, purse, bag etc...other than the ground.
Although I had a nice sales rep i didnt havea good experience I ended up having to pay over 4000 on a totaled car that my insurance n gap shud of tool care of..only to find out that ford was suppose to send money back from my premier n tire protection to my lender instead they put it on my new car as rebates..not sure if it was a misunderstanding on ford n my lender but either way I came out on the wrong end..there was noway I wud have known that they werent rebates..extremely disappointed

The body shop at Village Ford did a great job fixing a dent on my car. Others had suggested replacing my entire fender at a much higher cost, but Village was able to repair the existing fender beautifully at a much more reasonable cost. The body shop was very neat and organized, and they completed the repair quickly. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

I stopped at Village Ford and met Stephen and Magic Mike. Explained my situation and walked out 2 hours later rolling in my upgraded vehicle just LIKE THAT!!!!
