I had a really great experience. I was greeted with so much kindness and respect by the receptionist and the mechanic was very knowledgeable and educated me on my issues. What I really appreciate was when I was done the receptionist had the mechanic look over some additional thing to make sure I was safe and I know that was going out of his way for my future concerns. I love this place ...

I made an appointment and took time off work to come down and have my car serviced. Upon arrival, they told me that they didnt have time for me, even though I made an appointment. I stopped by Precision Tune Auto Care just down the road and they were much more professional and had a much nicer facility and waiting room.

On Monday, June 21st, 2021, between 8:00 AM and 8:15 AM EST, I arrived at the Meineke store located at 3861 North Druid Hills Road, Decatur, Georgia 30033. I entered the store and found (1) one customer being served by the Meineke representative Dalton. Although I was not greeted when entering the store, I took the high road to say good morning. The customer responded by saying good morning, but I did not get a greeting from Dalton. I waited for a while inside of the store to be helped once the Meineke representative Dalton was done with the customer in front of me. After assessing and gauging that more time than what I anticipated was needed to help the customer in front of me, I went outside to wait and sit on a bench located outside of the store’s front entrance. I decided that waiting outside would be best due to COVID as well as the waiting room at the Meineke store being very small. While waiting outside, an elderly Caucasian man and female drove up to the Meineke store. Considering that I had been waiting, I went back inside the store to stand behind the customer who had been there before me. The elderly Caucasian man came inside the store and waited behind me. The Meineke store representative Dalton was away from the counter. He returned to the counter talking on the phone. Immediately after getting off the phone, Dalton said good morning to the elderly Caucasian man and asked how he may help the man. The man responded by stating that he needed to get an emissions test. Dalton informed the customer that Meineke was not able to offer an emissions test. The elderly Caucasian man left the store. Following the departure of the elderly Caucasian man, I asked Dalton if the Meineke Store Manager Josh would be in the store on that day. Dalton responded to my question by stating that Josh would be in the store later that day. He then asked me if there was anything that he could help me with. I replied to Dalton’s question by saying no. This reply stems from not feeling comfortable on that day with having my car serviced at the Meineke store. This experience was disheartening due to being a loyal customer and having had work done at the store on previous occasions. Also, the experience was disheartening due to the great customer service that I have received in the past from the store manager Josh. A further disappointment is that I have not received a response from a Meineke representative after providing feedback on Monday, June 21st, 2021, about my experience on the company’s website. The experience that I had at Meineke was a major turnoff for me, and it represented a lack of professionalism and customer service. It has caused me to take my business elsewhere due to the implicit discriminatory behavior that was exhibited during my visit on June 21st, 2021.

My wife came to get a simple road trip test. Safety test. And engine light. They did tune up. Charge major for labor. Only took 10 mins but vehicle engine light stillFlashing never did the check or transmission check. What she went in for and now gotta go back and figure out what’s going on for safety’s purposes

Business hours online and on their door say 7:30am open, each time I have come here (4) they were never open at 7:30, not even shortly after but ridiculously late. Very frustrating waiting over an hour for a business to open up. My last visit in June was HORRIBLE . I was here early again for them to open up close to 9am . He told me my services would take 45 min to an hour, so I stayed. Here it is 11am and my car is still not serviced! I could have ubered home 5 hours ago. I got there at 7am, I didn’t pick up my car until 5pm ! beyond frustrating. On top of that I’m not even sure if the correct brakes were put on my car because now it is august and my brakes are still scraping . I was here again at 7:30 am it is 8:15 right now, shop still not open. No one insight . If you’re never going to open at 7:30 am CHANGE YOUR HOURS online . This is false advertisement. Y’all don’t open until 9am. SMH.This visit, I expect my brakes fixed at no charge . This is a complete inconvenience and I’m never coming back!I DO NOT RECCOMEND ! Take your money somewhere where it’s actually valued and appreciated. These people don’t care at all. Customer service is non existent! By far the worse experience ever .

I made an appointment online to drop off my vehicle on a Saturday morning. Place was suppose to open at 7:30 am according to their website & when they began taking online appointments, however no one showed up to Open up the business until after 9am. The parking lot was filled with customers also waiting for someone to open up. Once someone showed up, it took forever to get waited on due to the now long line of people. I know businesses are short staffed but opening several hours later is bad. Based on that, I’ll never return.

I took my car in to this location during my travels from Florida to GA for a funeral. For a basic spark plug replacement. When they replaced them the car was fine. When I made it back home I started having the same problems as I did prior to. So I took it into the nearest location to me and they told me the wiring was loosened and frayed due to them not putting the wires back where they were prior to. Long story short they didnt refund me any money and I had to pay $400 because they refused to take responsibility for their lack of professionalism. I would not recommend this place ever.

I’m super glad I chose the Meineke near my house since I’m new to the area. I had no idea my brakes were as bad as they were. These guys made sure my car was safe to drive. Great price, fast service, and good conversation while I waited. Thanks to everyone.

Our vehicle’s battery light kept turning on and off and it started pulling while driving it. We stopped at an autozone to have them check the battery. After a few attempts the service person told us that we will need a new alternator. Thankfully, a Meineke was in the area. We called around3:00pm and asked if they could replace it immediately because we did not live in the area and we’re trying to make it home. They said sure. We made it there in less than 10 minutes and they quickly got to work on our truck. They were fast, efficient, and friendly! I don’t know the cost of replacing an alternator but I think it was reasonably priced and especially since they were able to get us in and out in a timely fashion. The manager and the mechanics were superb! We are so appreciative of the service they provided. We highly recommend using their services!

Was waiting for service and started running slightly over because of another car taking longer - no issue at all, but the owner went ahead and started servicing my car in the parking lot to honor my time! Such a great experience!

I was told that my vehicle would be ready the next day but it was not! I called the next day and they said it would be ready the next day again! It was not and no call to let me know its not going to be done! Said it would be fixed today and still no call! I use my truck to take my power wheelchair around because I’m not walking well and I have been with out my chair since I left my truck at Meineke! I’m not happy!

Ive been waiting 2+ weeks for a rim that was estimated to arrive in 2 days!I came to them after a Progressive roadside tech didnt do his job properly. This location seemed very reliable and knowledgable so I trusted them to keep their word when they said my rim would be ready in 2 days. I gave them three, then four, then a weekend because out of no where they went on vacation. I called about the rim week two thinking surely its here and ready its a part not engine work. On one call that day the owner said it was there but he couldnt put it on until tomorrow morning, on another the employee said it hadnt made it. (Whos lying or not doing their job?) So I call a few days later (a week honestly) checking up/stopping by but not pressing hard at all and they say it should be in today March 1st... all day the run around. Finally, he says it may be tomorrow. Are you kidding me? What is the turn around for a cosmetic repair, really!? Am I missing something? Going on three weeks?? Never again. Im sorry but, Im getting my repair (because hopefully Im at the home stretch), and never coming back. Very disappointed that I trusted you all.

I went here because i was under the impression that i was going to receive a free oil change via my dealership, i schedule my appointment for 5:30, but came early just in case. 30 minutes later i was done, ready to hop in my car and leave until i hear you have to pay now!!!!??? I spoke with the manager about pricing in which he then gave me the proper information, it was only $25 off. I didnt want to get into a fighting match I was just glad i got my oil change at a discounted price nonetheless. He even took a little more off which was even better, so now this will be my place for my car needs. I havent had any problems and this was my first time here and it was only an oil change. I havent tried any of their other services yet.

Great service! Brake job took about an hour and a half to replace front and back brakes. These guys did a great job at an affordable price. If I need additional services I will go back.

I went to the North Druid Hills location in Decatur. Its out of my way, but they did tight by me when I had work done on my brakes in January so I made the drive out when my check engine light came on. Once my car was seen, the issue was quickly diagnosed and I was given an estimate for the repair cost and how long it would take. The problem was fixed within that time frame and close to the stated price. Anyone coming to this location should be prepared for a bit of a wait because theyve been extremely busy both times Ive been, but in my mind that should say something about the quality of the service!

Timely, explained what was wrong very well. They guessed the problem up front and didn’t add to it. I dropped off my car and they took me back to work. Fun guys to be sround!

They gave me a free pre-purchase auto inspection and shared valuable information on the nearby dealer I was buying from. I will definitely go back if Im in the area. The mechanics were honest and considerate to someone who knows very little about cars.

I usually don’t leave reviews, but the workers at Meineke were so nice and helpful. With covid-19, a lot of the auto repair shops were very booked. I drove around to 3 different shops and was turned down by each before getting my car check out at Meineke. It was clear that the Meineke workers were busy when got there, but I was able to get my car checked out and fixed within 20 minutes of my arrival there. The diagnostic was free, which I appreciated. Also, they referred me to the dealership before checking out my car even though they knew they would lose my business since I still had warranty on my car. The workers at Meineke do want the best for you and your car in quality and finance. Quality service and quality people! I am definitely going back there after the next 5,000 miles to get my engine oil checked.

I visited this store for a catalytic system code. Well, after replacing 4 oxygen sensors, and a catalytic convertor, the code was STILL there. I spent $1237, which according to numerous parts stores and websites was HEAVILY marked up. Definitely will take it somewhere more professional to have the problem diagnosed PROPERLY and DONE WITH MEINEKE.

I am extremely pleased with the overall experience. My parts needed arrived within a day, when I arrived the staff knew exactly why I was there, they replaced my cv axle in a little over an hour and the part that I liked most is that they saved me over a thousand dollars when compared to other quotes I had received. I definitely recommend them and I will definitely use them going forward.

These men fixed my car twice for the same issue (too much air getting into my gas tank). All within 2 weeks, here I am on week 4 my check engine light came on again for the same thing. Please run your own diagnostic test every time and find another car shop.

I had never been to this Meineke location before but decided to try them based on the reviews. I was greeted when I walked in by the manager Joshua. I went in for an oil change. My car has high mileage so I asked him if I should go with the “high mileage” oil change or if the synthetic oil change would be sufficient.He explained the difference to help me make an informed decision, and even offered a special that was less than the coupon price! After I was told my service was completed by “Fat Boy,” I noticed I didn’t have a “next service” detail sticker, my key wasn’t in the ignition and my floor mat was stained with oily footprints. I went back in to look for my key which was on the counter and I told Fat Boy (his nickname) about my missing sticker and asked if he could clean my mat.He applied a sticker and he cleaned my mat perfectly. The customer service was excellent and the techs were friendly. No gripes, no excuses! They did whatever they needed to ensure I was satisfied when I left. My entire visit was about an hour.

My tail piece of my muffler came off Our 29ft RV and I had to get it fixed ASAP, because we were leaving out of state in a few daysMy wife called this location and talked to Joshua .He said bring it in! I got there, he measured and weldedOn the tail pipe extension to factory guidelines within 1/2An hour. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.I was relieved and thankful for their excellent service and response.

Went for exhaust leak. Replaced flex pipe then told I had a crack in manifold. Next day replaced manifold but didnt plug my oxygen sensors back in causing my check engine light to come on

Poor Services will never bring my truck there again josh is very rude and disrespectful on top of that a lier my brakes is still squeaking after they was put on with rotors lost one of my hubcaps had to replace all four and never had the intention on redoing my brakes as he offered and to be honest I never saw anyone pull up with brakes or rotors wouldnt seen my enemy to this dump.

Everywhere else I took it they said it was gonna cost me a arm and a leg to fix my exhaust leak, took it over there and the guys had me out in 3 hrs and I spent less than $300 dollars. I cant hear my exhaust anymore and car runs great. They know what their doing and its not gonna break your pockets doing it.

This was my 2nd visit today and will be my LAST ... I paid $39 for what had suppose to have been a $20 oil change special.. when I called to set the appointment I told him exactly what I wanted .. if any prices had changed or would be different or more .. that’s something you should go over with the customer to see if they would like to proceed before you just take it upon yourself to just go ahead and service their car... I’ve never paid this much for an oil change and probably never will again .. I pay $19 at Martins that’s including my filter .. also you would think for $40 they’ll do everything listed on the paper (the inspections) but ummm NOT ... my low tire pressure light was on and do you think he bothered to put air in the tire or suggest that I need to back tires? .... NOOOO ... then I had to wait about 10 minutes for some air after going inside asking somebody else for air because the guy who changed the oil acted as if he was too busy ... last thing my guy noticed there was some screws loose on my cover ... don’t know why ... but I’m never going back here again.. while I was there 2 other people came in to complain .. I didn’t pay it any attention because I had been here before and everything was smooth but I’m DONE with MEINEKE

If you have concerns about COVID-19 and are hoping for a place following safety guidelines, do NOT visit this location. I saw only 1 employee wearing a mask. All others were not masked and not following social distancing guidelines. In fact, many were packed into the small waiting room. I was appalled that the employees moving my car were not wearing masks or gloves. They are putting the health of the customers at risk. AVOID THIS LOCATION!

I had a great experience at Meineke Car Care Center over the weekend. I went to have break service and an oil change. And the staff was helpful and friendly and did an awesome job installing my breaks. I truly appreciate businesses that take pride and are honest and not over charging in their work and a passion for being of service! This location is great.

I went to Auto Zone 1st to get a free diagnostic scan for the check engine light. Then found out it was the EVAP filter/part that needed to be replaced within the hood of the car.I looked around for few auto mechanics places that could fix this problem for my car I have since 2004. Recommended by my older brother to go to Meineke & I made a phone call 1st before arriving at this location for car service in June 2020.When it was time for my vehicle to be serviced Meineke mechanics used their advanced diagnostic scanner, Once I heard the price-quote how much this would cost, I was only charged for the usual part(s)/labor within a reasonable price. Thanks to Joshua (& One of the other car-mechanics that fixed the problem on my car) for making my 1st time customer experience a positive one.

I traveled here on more than 3 occasions to have my car serviced and everytime I came i was told that because theyre werent enough workers that I should reschedule even after arriving at the store before they open. Which wouldve been fine but this is my 3rd time being turned away when it doesnt even look that busy. This has definitely left a bad taste in my mouth and I wont be returning. If you cant do the job or dont want to do it just say that instead of playing with peoples time that they cant get back

This place is the worst never take your car there! I went in for a converter code now my H3 hummer makes loud sounds coming from the repair area. It happened after the fake repair needless to say $1200.00 later. Overpriced work and unskilled... Took 3 weeks and still didnt fix anything. Clearly guy running it is on drugs and they steal. Eww!

This Meinekie is one of the best ones I’ve went to. I’ve always go to Meinekie to get an oil change. I used to go to the one in Columbia South Carolina. But for the past two years I’ve been going to this particular one. They do awesome service in a timely matter. So far no complaints

Went there for my last 3 oil changes because my husband had good experiences there. But I knew the place was sketchy. They never put air in my tires or reset the service timer because both lights would still be on or come on within a day of an oil change. Last weekend I tried to go somewhere else, but as soon as they opened my hood they called me over and told me my dipstick tube was broken. They didnt want to do an oil change because they didnt want to be liable for that. I went back to Meineke -- and the manager immediately denied it. The first thing out of his mouth was, We dont touch the dipstick when we do an oil change! I said YOU DONT CHECK THE OIL LEVEL WHEN YOU DO AN OIL CHANGE!? He said, Well you cant prove we did it! You couldve had anyone work on your car since you were here last. Then he said he didnt even work there when I was there last so its not his fault (not sure why that matters). But I 100% remember him -- a toothless, grimy guy is memorable. When I told him I have 100% met him there - he looked at the record and said he was on a cruise that week. Another tech walked up, when I asked him if checks the dipstick when doing an oil change, he said YEAH!! emphatically. It was clear the MANAGER just wanted to deny, lie, and/or had no idea what he was talking about. All that to say -- dont trust these people! ((Upon further research, it is possible for those dipstick tube can get worn down, crack, and break off. So perhaps its not their fault. That said, I would have been content with a confident Well, your car is 10yrs old, these things tend to trap oil and sediments and crack. This is just one of the things that could need repair after 10 yrs. Instead the MANAGER just immediately got defensive and resorted to lying!)) I knew this place was sketchy - dont go here!

Do NOT take your car here. Was given the run around on what needed to be done, and parts needed to be ordered. I dropped it on a Friday afternoon, and was told the part would arrive Saturday and work completed by Saturday afternoon. NEVER heard back from anyone, as I needed to know if a rental car was necessary. When I called for the THIRD time, Joshua informed me the WRONG part was sent and another one ordered and car would be ready on Monday, by lunch time. AGAIN, NO FOLLOW UP... I had to call and was told still no part and couldnt give me a definitive answer on when the repair could be completed. Actually got a little nasty Everybody wants their car done yesterday! No apology or understanding that I was paying daily for a rental. At that point, I decided to have my car towed elsewhere for the work. Upon arrival at a VERY reputable shop, I was told my water pump was broken and did not appear to be a natural break. He said appeared to have been possibly broken by someone trying to pry something open. This ended up costing me an additional $500. I was also told by this mechanic that the parts quoted to me by Joshua, dont even EXIST for my VW!! I believe they broke it trying to find the source of my simple coolant leak. When I called Joshua back he informed me they didnt even get into that part of my vehicle, which couldnt have missed based on what the mechanic showed me. He also told me I owed him $125 for labor??! He said he would check with another mechanic there, but of course, never a return phone call. I FIRMLY believe they broke the water pump and lied about it, costing me additional money in repairs. I am BEYOND frustrated and angry. On a side note, my boyfriend also took his truck there, spent $600+ in repairs and is still having the same issues and the engine light is still on. He TOO believes nothing was repaired on his truck and will have to take it elsewhere. I will be calling customer service number indicated in the multiple other complaints.

I took my car here because it kept slowing down. I left it on September 30th. When i got there on Oct 1st. I can tell my car was broken into. I asked the manger whats goin on he says he doesnt know and he needs a NEW key. Fast forward Oct 15th. I said hes had my car for 2 weeks with no repairs done. I spoke to him and told him im takin my car on the 16th of October. I got the key and i was about to drive it away when he broke the brake lines under the car. the brakes went straight to the floor. I called AAA and took it somewhere else. Where they confirmed he did in fact brake the brake lines so I couldnt drive the car. He wanted me to sell my car to him. I declined. Please guys watch out for this place. never take your car here not even for an oil change.

Quick and efficient service. The owner/manager is forthcoming, knowledgeable and understanding. The only reason why I gave four stars is because they someone at the front desk more often. I had to wait a very long time to pay for my car - and it was ready. It seems like they need more staff. Other than that my car is working! And he had some discounts that he applied.

Ive generally had good experiences here. I get oil changes and emissions checks here. Sometimes it takes a bit longer than a dedicated oil change/emissions place but the prices here are great and they dont try to make your oil change into an $80 affair like a lot of places around here.

Josh went above and beyond in taking care of my headlight issue! I started going to this Meineke to get my oil changed because its close to my work. Theyre always nice and they get the job done. I had my headlights giving me problems the last couple months and Josh took care of it. Took it in at lunch break with no appointment and it was done before closing. So thankful!

Took a used car there for inspection before purchasing. Joshua and the crew were so polite, honest, and fun! They pointed out one issue with the car and made sure everything else was good to go. They were all so friendly, I was smiling almost the entire time I was there. Another customer was in the office at the time with a problem and Joshua took care of them as well. Service done right. I cant say enough about how great my experience was. Definitely will be returning with my new (used) car!

Employees at this location (with the exception of one) were not wearing masks and did not make any effort to stay distanced from customers. Do not go here if you expect to have a safe experience during the pandemic.

Warning! Please do not take your car to this location, it’s horrible customer experience and totally unprofessional. They’re overpriced and disrespectful and they take too long to repair your vehicle without proper repairs. I don’t recommend this nightmare place to anyone! Be careful...

I had a good experience at Meineke from my initial call about service for my car. Once there the service was excellent and the wait was minimal. I also thought the cost was reasonable.

Went in because my brake light came on. They said I needed pads for the front and rear. Upon leaving, the light was still on. I decided not to go back. I changed the bulbs and the light went off. What a joke!!!!

My first time coming to Meineke based on previous recommendation from a warranty company. I can say that I am please to know that the tech name Joshua/Manager was able to tell me exactly what was wrong with my car and some more based on previous shops that I have visit. The staff is very Customer Service Oriented!

Great service close to my job. The mechanics are knowledgeable and fair. The manager is patient and treats everyone with respect and provides each individual with the same attention to detail. This is the only shop that I will ever take my used car and truck to for service.

My opinion is still a little leary, but the boss lady did call to follow up with an issue I had. When she made the decision to confront the problem, and change the N. Druid hill store, as well as other locations; things began to look better. It is kool to be heard. My complaint was handled in a timely manner. The promise of a 100% guarantee of great service is weighing well on me. Ill see if my weariness goes away. Hard earned money is to be earned from my trusted mechanic, I dont like losing income.

Great service and the owner had a no-nonsense approach. The work was done well within a reasonable time for a busy day and very reasonably priced. They didn’t try to give me a run-around on pricing or work needed, and were upfront about everything.

I went there this morning for an emissions test. There was a failure being flagged in their test saying battery voltage undetected or something like that. The operating mechanic ended up telling me that I had to replace the OBD connector for $120 before my car would pass the emissions test, and that he would need to order the part and I should come back the next day. I then took my car to the next closest place (Dads Emissions), where they were able to run the test just fine. I got my sticker perfectly fine, no $120 replacement part needed at all. I called this Meineke place again and was able to get the same mechanic who told me I needed to pay this $120 for the part, and I told him that he neednt order the part since that my car was fine. He offered no apology for nearly costing me an extra $120 and another day of waiting. Then, when I said that maybe their equipment was faulty, he simply said as if he was shrugging his shoulders, Yea, maybe it is. He then tried to simply defend himself, saying he doesnt work with the emissions department - even though he was the one who said I needed to order this part or I would not pass the emissions test... I was very calm throughout this entire process with them, and on the phone call - yet he made no attempt to even TRY and keep my business. I dont really sense any dishonesty on his part, just a lack of caring to find the right answer, along with with a lack of know-how and a quickness to just charge the customer needlessly.
