Rocket Fizz is hands down, one of the best stores I have ever come across, recently. The setting makes you feel like you have stepped back in time to when five and dime stores were in common, plus the variety of candy and drinks are incredible! I highly recommend this place to future customers.

Great assortment of weird flavored sodas, some nostalgic candies, and an assortment of newer sour candy, toy gags, and salt water taffy. Prices are ok, considering the size and location of the store.

Fun and funky place! Cool and weird bottled drinks, plus a ton of vintage and out-of-the-ordinary candy. Its a treat for the kids to go there.

Largest selection of interesting flavor drinks and salt water Taffy Ive seen. Only place I can get maple bacon Taffy and sweet corn soda if I want it. Extremely friendly staff encourage you to stuff your Taffy bag to the point youd think there was a black hole at the bottom of your bag...and help you find room for more!!! I love this store. Great atmosphere and such a nice selection of goodies!

Ive gone once or twice since they opened. I find the store to be a nice shop for the Decatur area and its a quick walk from the train. They have a great variety of sodas and candy within the store, some on the wilder side as far as flavor. I havent indulged yet but I look forward to doing so in the future.

An enormous selection of sodas. If you have an idea of the flavor you are looking for, the staff can quickly point out a selection for you. I asked for cream soda and the guy pointed out where the soda was located and gave me brands to try.

I wish I could find what Im looking for in this store. If you want to walk in and buy random candy an incredibly high price, this is the right place. If you have a specific candy in mind, good luck. Do not shop here if you are looking for a specific type of candy. Im not kidding. They might have it in stock, but you will have to work for it. Theres no sense to the way the inventory is merchandised. Rather than grouping similar products or brands or flavors, lots of the candy seems to be arranged depending on what somebody thought would look neat stacked up or fanned out or constructed into a a tiny bridge...it got old quickly. Then, when I hit the cash register and realized that I was about to drop $20 on old fashioned candy sticks and Zots, I knew that I had been played for a fool. This store isnt cute enough to be inconvenient and expensive. A little customer service never hurt either, but I get it, its hard to talk to people when youre all potted up at work. Its cool. Thanks for the sticker, that was a nice touch.

This is a great place to get unusual candy. They have old favorites as well. There are many different types of sodas. But the best part is the customer service. They are nice and helpful.

This was my first time in Rocket Fizz, depsiting having lived near it for something like 2.5 years. And, I have to say, the store is pretty cool!Its a huge space, and the layout of it is very open, which is nice when searching through the endless bottles of soda. There is also a ton of candy for sale, as well as some funky signs and cermanic mugs. But, dont be mistaken, this store is all about the soda!There were flavors like Butter, Bacon (which the store clerk said tastes terrible!), Ranch Dressing, and Martian Poop. There were also a lot of fruity flavors and some traditional flavors like Coke, Sprite, and Root Beer. :) Rocket Fizz also bottles some of their own flavors such as the Doomsday Lemonade!It would have been cool if they had some international sodas. They had a couple from Germany, but my partner was really hoping for a particular Brazilian one he likes. The candy selection could have been better as well, though if you love Taffy, this place is for you! :)Overall, really cool store, and it is one I wish I had discovered sooner.

The people giving this place bad reviews I bet havent even been here, this place is one of the best candy stores in the Decatur area, way better then greenns by a million. The staff is super nice to the kids and they sell a wide assortment of candies for a reasonable price. Do not let the bad reviews fool you, this place knows what their doing and will be supporting this place as long as their around!

Wonderful selection, perfect for bringing kids to browse or buy a dessert. The sodas are also an amazing part of this store that deserves more recognition because they are phenomenal.

Take a walk down memory lane if you frequented a penny candy store in your youth. Lots of nifty bottled drinks including many types of ginger ale my favorite. They are not cheap. Lots of candy faces from yesteryear as well.

This is a candy store. Candy stores are frequented almost exclusively by children, accompanied by their parents. Why, then, does this store, which is otherwise a fun place for kids, bedeck its walls with a vast array of adult-themed (aka trashy) joke signs? Sell them, if you must, but dont display them where the kids are shopping.Yes, Im old--old enough to have good manners and good taste. The owners of this place have neither. I would not recommend taking children who can read to this store.

They literally have every candy you can imagine. Very friendly staff too. Great place to buy novelty gifts too.

Great selection of candy, found a candy my grandma really likes but it not in stores in ga. But I found it here for $1.50, will be coming back.

If you come to Rocket Fizz in Decatur, make sure you use the restroom before you go. Employees will not allow you to use the bathroom here, regardless of circumstances. I know many states have laws that require public spaces to allow customer access to bathrooms (although I do not know if this is the case in Georgia). Whatever the law, do NOT expect kindness at Rocket Fizz in Decatur. They told us we had to walk 1/4 mile to the nearest Starbucks, despite telling them of my recent knee surgery and that I was unable to walk that far. All of this occurred on their first week in business- when they should want to make a good impression. Not impressed, and no plans to go back.

Yeah, Im old...old enough to know that if you dont love this place then you probably have a shriveled black heart.I guess I know what other Decatur candy store isnt long for this world....Long live Rocket Fizz!
