UPDATE 2 !!!!!!!!! I moved the rating up to 2 stars because the customer service from corporate was very good, which was the last thing I expected after the experience in their Clairmont shop. I would be very wary of that particular shop but I will cautiously go to a different Jiffy Lube branch to redeem the credit corporate provided UPDATE 1 !!!!!!! After the initial mess at the shop I discovered that the wires in front of the air filter cover were clipped off (see new photos.) Its tight access to the air filter and access was now easier. First photo is from google images of the way it should look, second photo is of the clipped wires !!!!!!!!!! Ive used Jiffy lube multiple times in the past but the crew currently working at 1271 Clairmont Rd., Decatur, GA 30033 is bad. I got in my car when it was done and noticed the floor wasnt vacuumed, then I saw that the windows werent cleaned. I looked at my receipt and saw they were listed as declined which was weird. I went in and asked about it and the guy said the vacuum was broken. When I asked about the windows he just smiled and looked away. Nobody wore a mask although they walk right up to you while youre belted into your car. Im disappointed. The crew is ruining what used to be a good shop. I honestly wonder if they changed the oil.

I am a new driver and I came here to get my oil changed. I came out the parking lot with more damage to my car. I express to them I was new to this. My car is a 2001 Honda Civic. I paid $95 to get my oil changed and to get coolant in my car. I was told after the service was over that my oil pan was broken. My oil pan was not broken when I brought the car into them because I had a Mechanic look at it a day before. Even if that was not the case why wouldn’t you express to me that my oil pan is broken before you complete the oil change giving me a Chance to make my own decision to accept or decline. Now I have a oil change and my oil is leaking which does make any Sense. My car is not longer working Apparently there is a whole in my tube where the water goes which can mess up the engine or Radiator. When I left jiffy lube my car started smoking with me having no idea why. Why wasn’t I told during my service that their were additional issues with my car. Now I am out of a car due to poor customer service and lack of knowledge. I am disgusted by this jiffy lube. Going here was the worst mistake I made. I don’t recommend this location at all.

It was a very good experience from the time I arrived. Someone came out immediately to speak with me and was very courteous. My wait time was just a bit under an hour which was great..usually I am waiting for hours at other places. I would certainly visit again and would definitely recommend their service. I got a transmission fluid exchange done (drained old fluid and replace with new).

Since leaving this Jiffy Lube this afternoon, I have found several business who do the same exact service (basic synthetic oil change) for half the amount. Jiffy Lube charged me $100 and other places $50-60. I’m disappointed, frustrated and frankly appalled they would take advantage of women in this way. Steer clear and know there are other businesses with better integrity.

I told them my tire had a leak and needed patched. They nodded and said they would take care of it. I even wrote it clearly in the intake form in case they werent listening. I asked them after about it and they assured me I was all set.The next day my tire was low. I went back to them and they in fact dont even do tire patching 🤷‍♂️. The person in front of me had come in for a tire rotation and they had only changed his oil, so apparently I am not the only one who is not listened to. Maybe good for an over priced oil change... But certainly nothing else. I will never go back.

I visited Atlanta and decided to get an oil change before leaving. While at Jiffy Lube I saw that they did tires as well. My car was in great condition because for ALL major work I’ve always taken it to the dealership. While waiting with my young son I was told the caliper disintegrated off of my car and they would replace it free of charge, but I wouldn’t get it back that day. They closed in 10 minutes so I had to go to another local business and wait for a ride. When I called the next day I was told something went wrong and I would have to have my car towed to a mechanic. Worse, they asked me to pay for the service (of jacking up my car), pay for the tow, and pay for the repairs and contact the corporate office for reimbursement. I contacted corporate immediately where they had my car towed to a mechanic all the way on Buford Hwy, and rented me a car. My car was so messed up behind an oil change and supposed tire change that it cost $1,100 in repairs. What’s worse is I could no longer drive my car home even after repairs because the noise and feel of the car was so abnormal. When attempting to drive it home my 6 year old asked, “what’s that noise the car is making.” Needless to say, I returned home WITHOUT my car, all because I chose this ridiculously subpar location! It has taken me 1 month to post this and come to terms that I lost my car due to an experienced tech performing an oil and tire change. Since I read the other reviews before posting this, I need the owner to know that you changed the dynamics of my lifestyle by leaving me careless and properly training technicians is essential! I will say that corporate’s customer service was both helpful, efficient and they made an earnest attempt. will never return to this or any other Jiffy Lube as a result of the damage done to my vehicle! Instead of adding a photo, I can add a video of the repair shop telling me there’s nothing more they can do for my car.

I was told I was in urgent need of new brakes pads and rotors for $300 each. I knew my brakes were fairly new so I had them checked at another place and they were fine. They obviously wanted to take advantage of an older woman who supposedly knew nothing about cars. Never going there again!

Excellent service and professionalism from the team. I came to Jiffy Lube because they had the 2nd best price at the time but the only ones that could see me the same day.

Very disappointed, asked to fill out a drop off form and indicated I wanted the $74.99 service. Left to get lunch, when I came back I should have looked at my bill. I paid $129.38, which included a $10 donation to MDA that I didnt authorize. They didnt even vacuum my carpets. They used a bogus customer name. Very shady.

BEWARE!! These workers are scammers! Prices are very high for low shotty labor work. One man tried to scam me out of my money. He wanted me to pay HIM cash in order to seal my tire up. All of these workers are lazy and “hustlers” who makes this company look BAD! I doubt they even fired that man that tried to scam me after I reported him. PLEASE, don’t go here!

I will never go here again. I got my oil changed. They told me I needed wiper fluid and they were going to check the other fluids. I sat there like they was doing everything that needed to be done. I had and appointment after they changed my oil so I didnt check to see if they did everything that was suppose to be done. The next day I tried to clean my windows no wiper fluid at all. Day after that my oil light came on for low oil. This is sad if you dont wanna work stay home. My whole motor would have locked up on my car if my car would not have said low oil. We work for what we want and we pay people to service our stuff just to give our money away because they dont wanna do there jobs. So sad.

This review is solely based on the customer service I’ve received, as I have yet to have any work performed on my car there. The few times I have stopped by this location, the guys have been extremely helpful and quick! The first time I stopped by to get air in my tires and just recently needed them to check the oil level in my car. The workers are always professional and never try to push any sort of service/product. As a young woman who normally would rely on my dad to do these things for me, it’s extremely comforting to know that the people working here are nice and honest. As I said before, I’ve never had my car serviced here before, but based on my interactions with the staff, I think I’ll return for my next oil change!

Would prefer to give a 2 and a half star.The Good: They were SUPER fast. I walked up and said: I need an oil change. He took my car and had it back to me in 15 minutes.The Bad: He came with my keys and asked for my card. Cost was $89.99... for an OIL Change. In my opinion, thats a little high. Based on my receipt, they stated that vacuuming my floors were declined (which was not asked at all), the lights were good (which I had 2 out), washing windows were declined (which was not asked at all).Overall, expensive oil change, which might have been palatable if all of the other stuff had been done.Speedy - yes. Expensive - yes. Honest Communication - no.

Wanted to give no stars!!!!…..rushed and overpriced service….the lady before me went off on them and that’s when I realized I should’ve never stopped here….they vacuumed as if they’re doing something special…..car was better left alone….went in for a simple oil change was charged $101….on top of that they left my windows down and it was raining….baby seat got wet…..DON’T EVER GO THERE…..I FOR SURE WILL NOT!!!!!

I had to call this place to ask a question about the Groupon coupon and the manager was very calm and was helpful. He went over the whole breakdown and answered my 100 and 3 questions until I felt better. He even offered me to come to the shop and he would show me more or help me understand more. Now this is customer service, you know this man is busy and could have rushed me off the phone or told me some bs like the Jiffy Lube I went to did, but he did not. He helped me feel so much better and the company should look at this. I was filling a claim until I spoke to him. Someone that will go out there way and they are busy but they stop and do this that is how you get customers. I will be going to this location for now on due to I can trust someone who will explain this too me. I dont work for you all so how do I know how it works but I want to feel okay when I spend my money, not feel like I got took advantage of. Made me get out of car for a simple emissions check, then put dirty equipment on the seat! When I complained, I was told I was free to go elsewhere. Good point. I did.

The manager at this location said his guy couldn’t get my “skid plate” off in order to change my oil. This is my first oil change in this car, and I can’t exactly look under there before I drive off to make sure the jiffy lube didn’t damage the screws, etc. I asked the manager if there’s any documentation so that maybe their insurance will cover if this has to be repaired. His response “I dunno....” so I’m going to have to call around to see what the procedure may be for a jiffy lube location in a case like this. Don’t want to drive off because then it becomes in dispute as to what happened.

Terrible terrible place. Do not go here unless you want to be ripped off. Had to pay a $107 to get a oil change. Never was consulted on what oil they wanted to put it. They just picked the most expensive oil and up charged me to hell. I’ve gone to jiffy lube for 10 years and this was the worst experience. DO NOT GO HERE. You have been warned.

Jamil and staff at the Jiffy Lube location (near the intersection of Clairmont and North Decatur roads) continue to impress with their knowledge, professionalism, and service skills.They have set the bar for the other locations to follow.

Knowledgeable and courteous staff quickly changed my oil and pointed out a few other issues that impacted the operation of my vehicle. No-one pressured me to have the services completed there; but simply advised of what could help. Great experience! I will definitely return.

I understand these mechanics not wearing a mask when working however these employees are going into the Publix next door and not wearing masks.I brought it up to the employees in the Publix which they did not care. Then, I went by Jiffy Lube to let the manager know that the employees are wearing a company shirt & representing Jiffy Lube in the store without masks which many people uncomfortable including the employees not the Publix.The manager explained that the masks werent needed for them as mechanics, I tried to explain that not wearing a mask while working has nothing to do with them not wearing a mask in the grocery store.Unfortunately, they did not understand.I will not be supportive of this location any longer.

NO MASKS!! Not safe during the pandemic. I went to Dads Emissions instead where they are taking all the necessary COVID precautions (plus its a small, local business, AND they are so nice and quick).

I made the mistake of going to the location at,1271 Clairmont Rd, Decatur, GA 30033. I have loved every Jiffy Lube location I’ve ever been to. This location, however, was the worst! The customer service was horrible, they claimed the coupons that I have used at every other Jiffy Lube are not accepted there. A coupon that I was given to me by a Jiffy Lube location. My “needs maintenance” message in the car was not reset and I’m not confident that I received the synthetic oil change for which I paid. The WORST jiffy lube ever, in my opinion.

This was my first time gong to a Jiffy Lube. Id heard from their ads that they get you in & out in a jiffy, but I didnt really r expect them to be any better than most other places. They changed my oil so quick, changed my air filter, vacuumed my front mat, and added radiator fluid all in about 10-15 minutes. I pulled into the parking lot and the tech came out before I even got out of the car. I will definitely be going here from now on. Very impressed! Granted, there were no other customers there, but Im thinking its because they got then in & out quickly too. Also, all 3 techs worked on it together.

I drive a Kia Forte and was told that Kia required Synthetic Oil at $30 more but truth is Kia required Conventional oil from online search

Checking my a/c took a total of 3 hours and thats with an appointment.

My experience at this particular location was INCREDIBLE.From the moment I was ushered from my car to the waiting area all of my needs were met.My car was treated as if I were their favorite customer and they treated my vehicle as if it were their GrandmothersJason is a standout at this location and even gives himself to the company by covering other locations when they find themselves shorthanded.Give him a pay increase.I will definitely be returning!!!!!!

David was incredible! I came in to check my engine oil level and despite not getting my oil changed there, he looked at it and replaced my oil. He also checked my car and added transmission fluid, washer fluid and coolant for no charge. I am not familiar with cars and could easily be taking advantage of but David was so kind and generous. I dont usually go to Jiffy Lube but I will now because of him. Its such a relief to trust somebody who is working on your car!

Friendly and fast service. The guys here are charismatic and nice to work with. They even vacuumed my car thoroughly as there was glass all over my car from a break in.

They told me I had a leak in my antifreeze when I didn’t. Other than that they’re fine.

If I could give them no stars I would. 09/10/19 I walked in for a oil change. It took longer then I thought it would. I got my oil change done and I left. Today I went to express lube and was informed that a spark plug was put in my drain plug. I will be contacting corporate to see what can be done about this. You shouldn’t work on people’s cars if you don’t want to do your job.

JL preys on people who are inexperienced with cars and exploits that by up charging services. They don’t care about your car or your safety. Sales rep tried to told me I was lying when referring the type of oil I use and how the price seems to increase every time I come. Will never go again.

Greg was extremely courteous and helpful. I just needed my fluids checked (per my husband’s suggestion) and he did that and more. I will definitely be back.

I had the best service on my recent oil change . I was literally in and out in less than 15min although there were several people ahead of me. I was very happy with the customer service overal .

Charged me $110 for an oil change without telling me the price first. They were not up front with how much it would be.Don’t have the kind of money to spend $110 on an oil change.

Called beforehand about emissions but when I arrived, they werent able to do it?!

I was trying to get my emissions test done. I called and asked if they could do one, they said yes. I went, the machine was broken. The next day I called to ask if the machine was fixed, they said yes. I went, and they said the machine was broken again. The next day, I just went to a different testing place.

Needs adequate parking and turn around space to leave after being served.

Great group of employees here. They get the job done fast and well, and I constantly heard them explaining to customers what each level of oil will do for your car and why it beneficial to give it the good stuff from time to time.

I had really great service yesterday. The attendant provided an act of kindness to a customer that did not go unnoticed. Very nice staff, and very quick service! Great oil change!

Was supposed to open up at 8 and didnt open until 830. Not a proper way to run a business. One employee there at 8 and not one else able to start until manager got there until 830. Bathroom was not clean and had trash from previous day.

Buyer Beware!!! I had a oil change completed at this Jiffy Lube. When I refueled, I decided to check the level.. It is over filled by almost a quart. I wish I saw the other reviews prior to stopping here. Avoid this place like the plague. Please dont let some marketing smuck convince you to take a chance!!!

They told me my brake pads & shoes were worn dangerously low to 2mm. I generally work on my own car, just pay to get oil changed/tires balanced/rotated. Bought brake pads on the way home (auto parts store out of brake shoes for my car). Took the tires off and lo and behold I have 1/4 inch of brake pads left. I dont think they ever even inspected my brakes.

Very honest and helpful. My car was overheating, and they had just closed, but stayed late to make sure I was straight. When I brought it back the next day, to fix the underlying issue, they were very upfront w what was going on, letting me know what the immediate problems were, and what I could hold off on. I know the company has a shady reputation, but the people at this location are wonderful. If you treat the people who are fixing your car, making your food, or assisting you in a store, with respect, youll be amazed at the great customer service you will receive.

None of the employees were wearing masks, even when interacting with customers or driving the customers cars. If I didnt have a Groupon I needed to use I would have left immediately. I was also left with greasy boot prints on my carpet floor pads. I will not be going back.

If I could give this place no stars I would. They don’t actually do the work that they charge you for. Plus they make up issues and will lie straight to your face. The “manager“ removed a break light and a turn signal light and replaced them without my consent. Upon asking why I was charged for two bulbs they told me that the lights were burned out. I know for 100% fact that my bulbs were not out. The manager continued to argue with me over it and told me he would just take his bulbs back if I didn’t want to pay for it. These guys are trash. Do not give them your business.

The first technician I met was very nice. Even opened the door for me. The second was rude, condescending and overall unhelpful. He suggested a brake fluid flush and, when asked how bad I needed it (for $99), he said it depends on whether I care about my brakes or not. Then he tried to charge me $100 for an oil change. I have NEVER paid that much for an oil change on my car and told him that. His response was to tell me that I’d never had an oil change there. Well, he was right about that. I’d always had substantially better service from Express Oil change. So that’s where I went. AFTER he told the technician to ‘get it out of here’ in reference to my car.

Great service. In and out. They will try to add on services and it adds up quickly. I never leave here with dropping at least $100.00.

Tried to charge me $170 for an oil change on my new car with low mileage after they had already started working on it without my consent lol. I have so many words about this place but I will just leave it at that.

They are extremely unprofessional and loud. It took an hour first thing in the AM, and they weren’t busy. There were about 5 men standing around. No issues with my car, but the customer service was terrible. A gentleman came inside and began soliciting to buff a scratch out of my car if I “threw him a tip”. Not sure of the type of customers they are trying to attract here, but I won’t be back.

Service was on point today. There were four cars ahead of me and they were all done pretty fast.I was out in about 30 minutes.The guys were great.

I had my oil changed here about 4000 miles ago and today decided to change it myself. The oil came out looking old and burnt. The filter looked as if it hadnt been changed in over a year. Im positive these techs never changed my oil or filter. I highly do not recommend going here.

This is the worst! The guys were rude and did a horrible job. Like how can you mess up an oil change!? They forgot to vacuum a section of my car, didn’t top off all my fluids and didn’t even wash the outside of my windows!!! Like how high do you have to be to forget to wash windows!?!? I’m so disappointed, if I could give a negative start then I would!!

Went to this location once and will never go back. I expect a chain lube place to upsell me - thats the nature of the business. But I dont expect them to FLAT OUT LIE when they do it. The technician at Jiffy Lube told me my radiator was empty. Never mind that, if that were true, my car never would have made it to the store to start with. But, perhaps he was just exaggerating a bit to make the sale? Nope. I declined the service, but I still thought it prudent to at least check the reservoir when I got home. And there it was, sitting solidly in between the max and min fill lines. It wasnt even low. The surest way to lose my business forever is to lie to me.

This shop is currently charging $47 for a basic oil change. Goodyear is just down the street and they are currently charging $19 for a basic pick change. Havoline isn’t that much further down the street and they offer an oil change, fluid check and top off, and tire pressure check for $29. I am truly confused as to why anyone would ever use this shop. Also, their emissions machine was down when I went in to inquire about price, so they wouldn’t have been able to do that part anyway. Don’t go here.

They told me it would cost $97 for an oil change AFTER they draining my existing oil. I expected around $30 tops. I wanted to take possession of my car immediately but they had to put an oil filter and cheap oil back in before I could leave. Lesson learned... always ask prior to getting out of the car! My mistake still cost me $49.

Just needed air in one tire that was low and asked how long the wait would be and one of the mechanics told me to just pull around back. After waiting 30 min someone else tells me they can’t do it cause they have one pump thanks for wasting my time

Complete scam artists, nothing more. I was told I had water in my oil. When I asked how that happened the reply was you used conventional oil last time, you need synthetic. I pointed out that the synthetic oil put in last time was at their recommendation. He got real quiet at that point and even mumbled a derogatory slur under his breath. When I asked what he said he just ignored my and walked away ACROSS the parking lot. Unless your goal is to get screwed, do NOT go to this crooked place.

Great experience about 20 mins before closing. Jameel was very professional and polite. Not sure why all the bad reviews, but my experience could not have been better. They topped off my radiator fluid and didnt try to push air filters, even saying that mine were in good shape. They also vacuumed out my floorboards for free which was a nice touch.

Went in for an oil change 40 minutes before they closed and they had me in and out in 20 minutes. Everyone was kind, respectful, and professional. I came in very frustrated after waiting an hour for no service at NTB in Decatur (terrible place!), but left Jiffy Lube in a much better frame of mind. Thanks, guys!

Great service. Went in for emissions testing and was in and out in 5 minutes! The $25 price tag did seem a bit much though.

It was busy when I got there at 6pm and with four cars in front of me they were still able to get my car serviced and I was out of there in under 45 minutes. The technician lied about saying my cars manufacturer requires me to get full synthetic oil. Im sure my dealer would have mentioned that to me if that were true, and not told me that I can go up to 7500 miles between oil changes on conventional oil. The employee did not have to lie about that because I was going to get synthetic oil anyways, but thats why I dropped the rating down from five to three stars.

Went for an emissions test. About 9:30 AM on a Friday. Staff was very polite and helpful. Test was completed and I was out in less than 20 mins.
