I highly recommend this body shop for any repairs you need. I was in an accident and so anxious about the repair process. Pollyyanne and Fred were both so helpful and kept me updated the whole time. They didn’t drag the process along for weeks like I know some other body shops do. Based on the damage to my car and everything being slow with the pandemic ..I was prepared to be without my car for 3-4 weeks, but they had it finished in 2 WEEKS! I am very happy with the results. I hope I don’t have any more accidents but if I do....I know who to call!!!! This place is great.

When my car was vandalized in Vermont last week and I drove 2 hours to have the repairs done specifically at their auto-body. There is also a rental car agency attached, making it an easy transaction to get me on my way quickly after dropping off my car. If I could give a negative I would!!! I highly advise against going to bridge street auto. I always give the benefit of the doubt so we went for a test drive. My husband and I test drove a 2008 Honda Pilot it had 103,000 they claimed it runs great, only had one owner and was well taken care of. Totally NOT the case. We had been driving it for all of 30 seconds before the engine started knocking. We drive 2 miles down the road and pulled into a parking lot. My husband is a mechanic so he looked under the hood and under the car itself. There was NO coolant. NONE. NOT EVEN A DROP. The bottom of the car was so rotted that if you touch it rust just falls off. He plugged his OBD scanner in and they cleared 3 codes before we test drive. They cancelled out the check engine lights so we wouldn’t know it. WAIT FOR IT, it gets better. When we go to restart the car, IT DOESN’T START. Are we serious?! We called the dealer 5 times and NO ONE ANSWERS. We had to call the West Roxbury police. 15 minutes later we finally hear back from the dealer and they came to get the car and bring us back to our car. Long story short, this dealer is shady and TERRIBLE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU SPEND YOUR MONEY ANYWHERE BUT HERE. Bridge Street Auto is nothing but scam artists.

I was a first time customer, will definitely be going back for future repairs. They took care of insurance information for me and helped me get set up for a rental car which is conveniently right next door. I didn’t even ask but they even cleaned my car inside and out. Great customer service!!!

These guys are thorough and clean. They do a great job and do it in a timely manner. You know when you walk in the office and every desk is clean, with files in organisers that this is not a slip-shod opperation.

This is the best body shop Ive ever been to. They are honest, upfront with you, and do amazing work! I was hit by a town of Walpole plow not long ago, and my whole left side and front of my vehicle needed to be repaired. FRED and TONY, (owners) have never let me down in the 5+ years I have used them. Big or Small they have your back. For as frustrated as I was with the situation, and the insurance company yanking my chain. They were able to make it a better experience. I trust them both completely, and I trust their work. What prompted me to do my first review ever, was I saw they received a 1 star from Maria Quintana. I have to say I believe this is false or embelished. Or quite frankly you reviewed the wrong body shop. Never a single negative experience and they treat all their customers like hold, and with RESPECT. My family of 4 all go to them.

It was a quick turn around, the bumper looked great and they cleaned the car. Great place to buy a used vehicle. They have a helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff. We will have 5 drivers in our family by the end of April and I wouldnt trust anyone else with the cars my teenagers drive. Tommy is the best! Replaced front bumper on my 2013 Toyota Camry. They were a pleasure to do business with. The owner/manager was courteous and professional. They had the car ready in 2 days and it looked good as new I had a similar repair job done 2 years ago at a well-known Toyota dealer in the area. The cost was 3x what Bridge Street Autobody charged me. I highly recommend Bridge Street.

Im lazy and dont bother to rate unless its one of two extremes. Unfortunately Ive had to bring my vehicle to the shop multiple times in recent years, and I havent been to many shops so I cant speak for others, but Im confident to say here that Bridge Street is as good as, if not better than, any other body shop. As far as my experiences went, they (Janie and everyone there) did everything in my best interest, and they provided the peace of mind thats the least I could ask for after numerous misfortunes to my vehicle. For once, I wish more customers would leave a feedback, but Im not surprised that its perfect at this point despite the low number of reviews - Id be surprised if your experience contradicted those of mine.

I had a great experience shopping for a used car at Bridge Street Auto. I was hunting for a used Toyota Prius and was lucky to find a 2013 here, as I am a long time Dedham resident. This was my first car buying experience entirely on my own, and I found the process extremely low stress, especially in comparison to what I have heard about the frenzied process of shopping at major dealerships. I was able to test drive the vehicle on my own time, with no pressure and no stress. The sales rep worked with me to find a great rate for my monthly loan payment. I was offered a warranty package and shown how it would affect my monthly payments, but it was not pushed on me aggressively. I noticed some corrosion on the brakes and Bridge Street Auto worked with my regular mechanic at Dedham Gas and Service to replace all 4 brakes, giving me peace of mind before purchasing this vehicle. They claim to make any repairs needed so that the buyer has at least 12 months of driving with no issues - and based on my experience they seem to honor that. Ive been driving the Prius for a couple of months now, put several thousand miles on it, and it runs great and has had no issues to speak of. I got a good price and a great loan rate, and like I said, very low stress experience overall. I would definitely recommend this establishment if you want to deal with normal people and not jump through hoops and dodge scams with the elite sales machines at major dealerships.

Very friendly staff, but the quality of the work was sub par. I had to have a few body panels replaced after an accident, and i was very disappointing with the result. When i went to pick up my car the door was not properly aligned and the metallic flakes in the paint were clustered in groups and not evenly distributed. This service was provided a few years ago, and now the body panels that were replaced are staring to rust. This car is only 4 year old, and should not be rusting. Its worth noting that only the panels that were replaced are rusting.

Bridge Street Autobody is the best repair shop Ive ever been to, and thats saying a lot! I destroyed the front right axle of my honda accord, and caused complicated mechanical damage to the rest of the car. I thought the repair process would take weeks but they stayed in touch with me over the 9 business day period. They also returned my car to me with the interior detailed, spotless, vacuumed, and all the scratches on the outside of the car, they buffed out and touched up to boot. I will always go back. Almost make me want to get in an accident again...Psyche!

My new car went in here and boy let me tell you I think it looked better with damage . The paint started to chip off, the area repairs looked lumpy it was terrible. The same day I went to get my car I said this is not a good job to where the guy said well thats how we repair . I was in shock . Now after all the complaints with the customers from my same insurance company they are no longer with them and Im glad I woulnt take it back to them even if they did it for free!

I brought my car in last year after someone backed into it. The other persons insurance company recommended and the reviews showed this place as being good.. I dropped the car off and a week later picked it up. Couple days after picking up the car and inspecting it closer, I noticed they didnt do a very good job.. The paint came out great but the body work not so much.. The bottom corner of my rear passenger door is bent in (probably did it so the door can open normally), the rear of the door sticks out a little(almost enough to put your finger tip in-between the lip of the rear door and the rear quarter panel). And the front part of the rear passenger door is pushed in little.. So the whole back door is no longer flat with the rest of the car, also the weather stripping on the rear door has come undone many times. I brought the car back for them to look at and I was told thats the best they could do, sadly if this was the best they could do then thats not good. Im guessing the whole door should have been replaced and instead they/maybe the insurance company opted for only the door skin.

This review is a bit over due, but I’m still fighting to have an unauthorized hard inquiry removed from my credit report because of this dealership! I spoke with a man named TOM GRIFFIN just once on the phone to inquire about a vehicle. He was so bubbly & so on (typical sales man), but totally disregarded the instructions I submitted with my application. Mind you I have never been to this place physically, all I did was have a conversation with this man ONCE on the phone & it turned out to be nightmarish dealing with him. I never went in this place to see the car in person (he didn’t even give me a chance) & he was already asking me to fill out a credit application etc online (stupid me I know, NEVER again though). I told him I would fill out the application & I was very specific about him not pulling my credit report until I went with my mechanic to see the vehicle & negotiate the price with his boss. This was at about 6pm one evening. Before I could even open both eyes the next morning he has requested credit from 2 banks!!! The 3 times I said DON’T PULL MY CREDIT REPORT YET went totally ignored! I told him on the phone, via email, & in the notes of my application DO NOT PULL MY CREDIT REPORT UNTIL I GO THERE WITH MY MECHANIC & I CAN NEGOTIATE THE PRICE! Turns out he got wayyyyy ahead of himself & a hard inquiry was made without my authorization. I’ve been on the phone with the bank many times, spoken even to a supervisor at Transunion Credit Bureau and because of the incompetent credit department at Rockland Federal Credit Union didn’t send the necessary documentation to me to submit to Transunion the hard inquiry is still lingering there on my credit report & my score dropped because of this desperate sales rep Tom Griffin not listening or reading my request not to pull my report until I saw the vehicle & negotiated the price. He was desperate to the point of illegally requesting credit from 2 banks! Thank God for Credit Karma, they immediately alerted me my Credit was being pulled & I was able to stop this man from inquiring further credit lines for a vehicle I hadn’t even seen in person, only via internet! Keep an eye out on your credit reports, monitor activity if you give your information to this dealer or just stay away & don’t give them any of your info before actually going there & being 120% you are making a purchase! I guess that was naive of me, but I learned a big lesson & they missed a $19,000 sale!(This Review May be Cross-Posted On Other Sites)

We purchased a Jeep in February. The person who we discussed buying the car with was not the person who we signed paperwork with, and the person who we signed paper work with left out our warranty paper work. Which meant that in 2 weeks when my truck broke down we had no warranty. We have replaced the alternator twice (the first one their shop replaced with faulty product but did refund us the money for), front struts and strut mounts, right outer tie rod, brake sensor, exhaust system, the fuse box, and we have had to have the transmission rebuilt. The information on the site was not what the truck was equipped with. We would have to pay additional to get what they listed as on the vehicle. We have probably put half of the cost of the car back in with all the repairs. Make sure you take the truck to be looked at by someone who is not associated with them and is someone you trust. I have never regretted a purchase so much as I regret this
