The only option for gelato if you cant go to Italy to get it. The gelato is perfection. The espresso and cappuccino are exceptional. And the random imported treats that bring me back to my childhood summers are the final piece to a perfect outing.

Amazing little hidden Italian gem! Had great selection of self-made smooth, decadent and refreshing gelatos and sorbets. Great selection of hot and cold coffee drinks as well. I so wish this place was closer to us. I also wish the owner would contact me so I can co-invest with him on a few other locations... there is a huge need for gelatos on certain areas of LI! Do not wait and pass this place by.

I am not one to write reviews for places in general, but I had to show love to my favorite coffee place of all time. I have tried a countless amount of coffee shops on the island and I must say that I am lucky my favorite one is the closest to me. Quite honestly, nothing else compares. I have been going here for about a year and I have never been disappointed. Love you guys!!

I finally had a chance to stop by today and wonder why it took this long. I got a medium limetta and it was better than I could have hoped. I have loved lime since I was a kid and couldn’t pass up the the flavor. I don’t care what anyone says, gelato is far superior to ice cream.

Fantastic cappuccino, good tiramisu, and the lady making/serving them is very nice and friendly. While we were there a guy came in who seemed to be the place owner.. and he didnt seem very nice. But I dont think he interacts with the customers.

BEST HOMEMADE FRESH GELATO! They have their signature flavors but they have fresh new flavors like today hade rainbow cookie gelato. They have the best tiramisu, biscotti and other great desserts. Cafe Italia is their own little Italy. Theres indoor and outdoor seating. I highly recommend trying them out if you havent already. Always friendly staff.

Cute little underrated cafè. It’s hard to find good Italian bakeries or coffee shops or supermarkets around but this cafe is pretty good. The espresso and gelato are a must have obviously and there are good imported coffee’s to buy :)

Excellent Gelato! Random stop here after a bit of House hunting. Small shop with 10 or 12 varieties of Gelato, we tried 5 different and all had great pure flavor, whether it was Hazelnut, Dark & Milk Choc. Etc.

Literally love this place. the man who served us (name unknown possibly tony) the cutest in the freaking world. we called to find out when they closed and this man WAITED for us to get there just for him to then serve us this DELICIOUS gelato, while also cracking jokes and being a absolute sweetie at the SAME TIME. also might i mention he is HUSTLING during a global pandemic. the world doesn’t deserve this place OR this spectacular man!! 10/10 will be back again

I love this place! Real, authentic Italian to die for Gelato! The best milkshakes and cappuccino! My fave is the affogato! The atmosphere is always warm, welcoming and friendly. The owner Michael makes you feel right at home. You can sit down and enjoy your cup of espresso or bakery items while listening to Italian music and feel like you are in a gelateria right in the heart of Italy. He imports all of his ingredients and merchandise straight from Italy as well so you know its the real deal! Highly recommended!

Authentic Italian coffee shop that’s very rare on the Island now!They have gelato, pastries, coffee, paninis, snacks and a tiny little grocery for imported Italian stuff. I tried a cappuccino and some gelato (Gianduia and Whiskey Cream) and both were delicious.Someone mentioned no mask-wearing in a prior review, everyone inside was wearing them properly when I went so idk.

Great gelato and affogato. I also had a slice of the rainbow cake and it was flavorful. I love that this place is open late and has the traditional italian-style treats and goodies for sale as well. Prices are fair and parking is always easy. No complaints at all, recommended!

The staff there are very friendly and made me feel so welcome like Im a regular customer. I had gone there last night to pick up pastries for a party, I got some homemade cannolis and some pastries from inside the glass case. The cannolis were actually fantastic, but the pastries were awful, they were dry, they have an aftertaste, they tasted old. Like someone sprayed them with hairspray. It was embarrassing at the party and I wouldnt recommend their pastries to anyone.The girl at the service counter, was actually very sweet and fantastic so no judgment on her.

Price found online (Doordash) was incorrectly lowered. The gelato was fantastic and they had a plethora of options. They also have many Italian snacks and cakes along with some lunch options, such as fresh cannoli and tirimisu.Staff was very friendly and made sure I was taken care of.

What a unique idea to open an authentic Italian gelato / pastry coffee shop centrally located in a town that has been primarily Italian for 60 plus years. DOH!!! Why the hell didnt I think of it. This place could be plopped in the middle of little Italy and people would flock to it. Not that there is much of little Italy left. Got there around 8:00 after a great dinner just down the street. Very small place a few tables along one wall and 2 small tables outside. 3 of us ordered coffee and gilatos and grabbed one of the outdoor tables. By the time we got half way through the line was literally out the door. Tried to take a picture but battery in my phone died as I hit the button. Many Italian speaking people, it reminded me of my aunt Sarahs kitchen when our big family was over for dinner. Dont know what to say except GO!!!!!
