He helped me find the right and best fix for my car and helped me find the best price for it!During the process, we talked alot about life and ourselves. We found out we got quite a bit in common and even grabbed a beer afterwards. I want preface this review by saying I was going into this experience dreadful of the traditional experience for buying a new car, to include pushy sales people and trying to force product onto you that you do not want. What I experienced was nothing short of an amazingly simple and easy process.Steven (Salesman) and Shawn (Manager) were incredibly easy to deal with and they answered all of my questions. When they didn’t know the answer, they researched and got me the answer instead of feeding me a line. Steven and Shawn were both very personable, honest, and most important - transparent. There were no hidden tricks, gimmicks, gotcha’s, or surprises. I truly felt they both went above and beyond to make this experience an extremely positive one.I came from 6 hours away because of a glowing recommendation about this dealership specifically, and I am very happy I made the trip. We knocked out a huge chunk of paperwork ahead of time and when I showed up, all we had to do was some final paperwork and we were out the door.I cannot recommend Steven, Shawn, and Toyota of DeKalb enough. Our salesman Steven was Awesome to work with. He made the buying experience of my wife’s Camry XLe super easy. Most of our communication was via text and the day of signing paperwork we were in and out in 40 minutes. Fastest in and out buying a car ever. Highly recommend working with Steven. Finance made it super easy as well.

A deal was done with the manager and the paper work was conducted and filled out and a deposit was left to return to pick it up the truck. The manager decided to sell it to someone else one day later, and I had all ready setup everything even with insurance. Never in my life had this happen before, when the paper sign meant a deal was form, unbelievable. The poor seller got this sell taken away from them, unacceptable that Toyota allows this dealer to represent them. I will never be returning to this dealer and will never recommend anyone to this dealer.

I purchased my Toyota Highlander used from another dealer. When it came time for an oil change, I took it to a local Toyota dealer. The car was 2 years old so it shouldnt have needed much. When I went to pick up the car, the Service Team gave me a 2 page print out of what needed to be done to the car. Total was in the thousands. I was so upset that I purchased a bad car. Instead I took that 2 page document and went to the Service Team at Toyota of DeKalb. Told them everything that the other dealer said and gave them the 2 pages. Adam, told me he would look it over and let me know. When I walked back in to pick up the car, Adam gave me the biggest smile and told me that I did not need anything done that was on that 2 page document. He did explain to me that yes in time, I would need some of them done but I had purchased a great car. Adam, has always been honest with all service that I had done on the Highlander. Thanks Adam in Service and Toyota of DeKalb for being honest and great to work with.

I was very surprised to be shown the vehicle I was interested no questions asked and no trying to talk me into something else. The entire process was smooth and efficient. Everyone was helpful but Tyrese went out of his way to help me get through the process quickly and to keep me informed as we moved through the buying process. Called another place closer to me first and was on hold forever so I hung up and called Dekalb Toyota and immediately spoke to human who answered my questions and scheduled service for my vehicle quickly. If I could do zero stars I would. I have had a pre-order for a sienna xse for over a month with a deposit down. Today I was supposed to pick it up and was told the day of that they could not sell it to me since I was going to pay CASH and not finance! I even have proof in a text that I was paying cash. The manager refuses to speak with me and Steven Gunty who I dealt with was of no help either. DO NOT PRE-ORDER ANYTHING WITH THIS DEALER. Highly unethical and wasted my time. Horrible Horrible experience and will be reporting this to BBB and Toyota corporate as this is just fraudulent.Edit to add that the below owners response is illogical as we had a deposit on an inbound vehicle months out. Strongly urge you to not do business with this toyota dealer. This would have been our third toyota. The dealers unethical practices have been forwarded to BBB, toyota financial, and toyota corporate. I anticipate reaching out to some media contacts as well.

I had located a vehicle I was interested in late in the night and woke up to an email from Joe. Joe texted me about the vehicle (after obtaining permission to text me, which many other dealers/salespeople do not do). Joe was straight forward with me after I explained to him what I wanted. When I arrived at the dealership the staff was friendly and immediately began helping my family. Joe was knowledgeable about the vehicle and took the time to listen to my rather verbose 12 year old son. There was no pressure to buy, no pushiness on extra services and straightforward financing.I was completely comfortable throughout the process, the price was fair, and I left happy with my vehicle. As long as Joe is there I will be buying all my vehicles from him.

Toyota of DeKalb is the best! Our salesperson, Adrian was a huge help. We were new to the leasing program and Toyota. Adrian explained all the features if the new 2021 Corolla with expertise. We could tell this dealership has a top rate training program. Even though Adrian is young and working his way through college, he is dedicated and extremely knowledgeable about Toyota’s. I would highly recommend Toyota of DeKalb for your next car and be sure to ask for Adrian! I should mention, we live in Rockford and did not hesitate to make the drive to DeKalb for the outstanding service.

I requested oil change and routine maintenance. I also requested another inspection of my 2019 RAV4 for fuel tank due to continuing problems with proper reading of fuel gauge. This dealership stated they had previously repaired this problem. The fuel gauge reads Empty with needle at E and then only takes 10 gallons of gas upon refill. The gas tank is advertised as holding 14.5 gallons. There is no reason for the car to need 4.5 gallons in reserve and the gauge is malfunctioning. The service writer states this is normal for the vehicle. There is a current recall which describes the exact problem but the service writer states the prior fix has been done and the vehicle is good. I informed him that I would be taking up the matter with Toyota.

I went to this Toyota dealer to look for a used car. We lucked into getting Steven G. to help us with the purchase. I already had a used Toyota which I had been taking to this dealer for a couple years and I knew they had a great service department. In looking into a new used car, I found that their sales people are just as good. Steven was knowledgeable and patient with my indecision as I checked out 4 different cars. I actually ended up buying a new car, with his help. He explained some of the differences between my new Prius and my older Corolla, made me feel good about the change(I normally hate to change cars!) He even hooked up my phone, since I am technologically challenged. Thank you to both the dealer and Steven for the great experience.

First time buying a vehicle in almost 12 years and everyone here was extremely helpful, especially my salesman Guillermo Zuniga. The truck I wanted wasnt available on the lot but he drove out of town personally the next day to get it for me. I was also right in the middle of a move and they helped me figure out the easiest way to handle the title, etc. Great service all around.

I never go to dealers for service because most of them are so scammy. But I had to take my car to a dealer for a Toyota safety recall repair. The service went fine. Then a couple of days later I get an email from Sirius XM saying I was signed up for a 3 month free trial. I never gave my permission to this dealer to share my info with Sirius XM, let along sign me up for a free trial. This is absolutely unacceptable! I immediately unsubscribed from all Sirius XM emails and I have a mind to report this to the BBB. Avoid this dealer at all costs!

Unfortunately my hometown did not have the Toyota Venza that I wanted on their lot. So I went through cars.com and located my dream vehicle in Dekalb. Fortunately only 2 hours north. Juan promptly reached out to me and provided me with the best offer. I was working with several other Toyota dealerships at that point to find a Venza. He was willing to take a deposit and hold the vehicle for me until the next day when I was able to drive to Dekalb which was so gracious of him. Juan was off the following day so I had the pleasure of working with Adrian. He was extremely professional and efficient. Stephen also helped me decide if there any warranty packages I wanted to add on and was such a gentleman. I can’t say enough positive things about my experience at Dekalb Toyota. TYRESE! The best salesman there.I had originally ordered a car through Carvana. They seemed easy and cool until they pushed my delivery date back SIX times. After 2and half weeks with out a car and the day when my car was Supposed to be delivered but was canceled I decided to walk in and check out cars here and to see if I could get a decent deal here. I’ve had terrible past experiences with other dealerships so I was nervous. But Tyrese was overly amazing. He worked with my budget and put me in a nicer, newer, and safer car than what I thought I could have and better than Carvana. He got me in and got me out so quickly. He didn’t push me with anything he genuinely wanted to help me. I almost felt sad leaving the dealership because everyone, especially Tyrese were so friendly and wonderful. This place is a ripoff. Dont take your car to be repaired here if you have any common sense. I had a vehicle looked at for a no start problem. They told me it would cost me almost $800 after parts and labor (parts about $130 and labor 600$, plus the tax). This was an absolutely ridiculous price for parts and unnecessary amounts of labor. I had it towed out of there and took it to a reputable mechanic closer to where I live, where he performed the exact same repair to fix it for about $265 total after parts, labor, and tax. Goes to show you how greedy dealerships are. I guess thats why they call them Stealerships

He was so personable, he went into great detail on the ins and outs of the car, and he was quick to respond to any follow up questions we had! Adrian Rodriguez was our salesman when we recently purchased a 2021 Corolla hybrid. We’ve bought cars from Toyota of Dekalb before and have always been happy with the experience. This time was no exception. We’re pleased with the car and the price we paid.

My car was totaled in August and in December I was still fighting with the prior dealership to release all the warranty information needed for my gap policy. I can in, explained my situation, and Tyrese helped me out as much as he possibly could! They did everything they could to get me in a reliable car at a really amazing price! And they even gave me advice on how to handle my current situation with the other dealership. Honestly they did more than just provide a car, they helped give me my life back. Definitly not your average salesman or dealership.
