Curbside pickup is really really bad here. Several times in the past have had large portions of my order not be picked and was told the items were not in stock yet I went into the store found them and bought them. Whats the point of curbside pickup when you have to shop yourself afterwards. This time I had scheduled a pick up, drove down to the store and got notified that my order was delayed. I tried calling the number posted at the curbside pick up but nobody answers. Called customer service and after getting shuffled around to several different people, I found out that delayed order meant they never picked the order. I was told that hopefully they would get to my order later today or maybe tomorrow. Again whats the point of putting in a curbside pickup order, when the pickup is a random time or might not even happen?Not happy.

They sold me a FILTHY, recently used toaster oven at full price. I was not aware until it was already in my home. A dirty FOOD appliance during COVID??? To top it off, one of the store managers - Erin - could not be less caring and dismissive when dealing with the issue. Save time and money going to Target where the managers actually finished 8th grade and learned a thing or two about customer service.

Only friendly person was cashier. All other employees did not even acknowledge me. Girl standing by exit for looked totally annoyed to have to be there did not even look at me as I left the store.

The most unfriendly, and un helpful employees. They push the customers out of their way to do their jobs. Like we are in there way and we keep the store operating with our business. I hate every trip to Walmart, and go as little as possible.

Tire repair wouldnt even take my tire off. My lug broke and i got a flat. I bought a tire and and they wouldnt even touch my car. I had to buy a jack and tools and do it behind there bay myself. Total unhelpful

Ran into this Walmart in particular because they have NIU apparel at decent prices & the boys/mens watches were great to choose from.

Used their auto center to get 4 new tires put on. The young lady I talked to about what I needed was awesome, as was the younger gentleman with black hair who got me checked in. Both were so kind, knowledgeable and friendly right off the bat - exactly who you want customer facing! However, the older man who wears very baggy clothes was very rude and short with every guest I saw him interact with. I took my car in on Wednesday and on Friday morning my tire pressue light had come on. I called to ask them if I could bring it in so they could make sure the tires they had just put on were okay and sure enough I got the older gentleman. His response was Its probably just from the cold weather. If you want to bring it in itll be several hours before we can help you. Im sure its fine. He said they had appointments until 3pm and I said Ill be in at 3 to which he replied Youre still going to wait. I asked what we do if the temperature outside is not the issue and he said I could just bring it in the next day and they can try again...I dont know, seems very unprofessional and very clear that finding the answer isnt top priority. I hope its just the cold weather, but I want to be sure before I continue driving the vehicle rather than just waiting to see. I called the Honda dealership in DeKalb and they told me to drop it off asap and theyll verify that thats just the issue for free...I guess its true you get what you pay for and will be sticking with the dealership from now on. Just stinks that some of your staff have such great potential to make your shop the go-to and one guy has to ruin it. Sounds like theyre busy enough that me not coming back wont matter, what is one person, I completely understand that, but some customer service skills really couldnt hurt.

I frequently go here, if you use self checkout its faster and easier. Be aware, they close one entrance at night to make you go to the other one. Unfortunately, the smell of rotting fruit and vegetables is atrocious when you walk in and are in that area and Ive never seen anyone clean those things out. They dont have enough registers open on a regular basis like its needed especially on food stamp days. For the amount of traffic they definitely need to have more cleaning done or constant cleaning.

Many products were out of stock. After waiting in line to self checkout I was told that the machines dont take cash. Thanks you should have told me before I waited in line. In the future I am going to Meijer or Jewel.

Endcaps were price pointed incorrectly. Shelves were empty or in the wrong place. Didnt really know what price was for what item. Lack of associate 10 ft rule. Associates with vests on but on phone. 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️. Im confused. Just disappointed on the quality of this company over the years.

I always do online pickup for this exact reason! Sat in line for 30 minutes to check out! Literally took longer to checkout than to shop! 3 isles open with lines to the clothing! Losing my business! Slowest checkout ever!

Will not shop here again. My husband went in to buy a bottle of Knob Creek and the lady refused to sell it to him because I wouldnt provide her with my ID. My husband provided his ID. I asked her: So, if I wasnt here youd still require him to find me so you could have mine too? To which she said yes. Let me see if I get this right.... anyone that comes in to buy alcohol has to provide ID for their significant other even if they arent there with them. To which she also said yes . Bye Bye Walmart. Your shelves are always bare and the majority of your employees are rude. This instance was the final straw.

If I could give zero stars I would. Took over 20 min and three phone calls to get an associate to come open one of the cases so we could purchase what we wanted. Every time I come here I remember why I dont.

Walmart in Dekalb is a complete disaster. The staff if you could find anyone who works there, is crazy rude and unbelievably lazy. I have to blame Walmart for creating this environment. They are constantly under stocked with basic items. The customers frustration comes out too. So you have a useless work force with angry customers. A true recipe for disaster and you will find it at the Dekalb Walmart. I thank God Target is across the street. Oh and by the way the store is dirty and some parts like produce section smell like rotten produce. This place is a joke and if you want entertainment here you go.

When I got home after picking up a curbside order yesterday I smelled something bad and saw the wet cat food I ordered was contaminated with MAGGOTS. I guess some of the packages were slightly opened and went bad. It was not just one, there were at least 3 packages that the maggots were all over. And I had to assume the rest of the items in the bag were contaminated from the contact.It is nearly impossible to talk to a live customer service person because its all automated but once I finally got one on the phone she was in a real rush to get off the phone with me. She didnt even wait for me to get a refund confirmation, and I still havent gotten one. Wish I could actually talk to someone who would take this situation seriously! Contaminated groceries are a serious issue and our cat or us could have gotten sick.

Being the county jail is down the road, there are few supplies for inmates.. Like No thermals and very limited, cheaply made, and expensive white boxers. No white boxer briefs. Very Limited plus size. Had to wait 1 hr to return cell phone.

Always come in here because i still remember where everything is when i worked overnight as support manager. Glad its under new management but i was definitely black balled big time for rehiring.

Terrible customer service. Pick up and delivery orders are not made with any regard for quality anymore. They dont look at produce before grabbing it and they no longer get replacements anymore when reasonable. Getting groceries yourself is difficult for big families due to only 2 checkout lines and having to checkout yourself without a conveyor belt as they are often off or full. Lose lose situation.

Clothing area a huge mess. No frozen vegetables. No Coke on the 12oz bottles. Yarn selection, oh yeah there is isnt any. Store has really gone down.

Excellent customer service experience.

Sometimes we have no choice but to go to Walmart. This location is always packed with several college kids that walk around with their hands inside their shorts. I dont understand the new trend but I did embarrass a young man in front of his friends. They were offended but did take their hands out of their pants. I wont be purchasing anything besides frozen food from this location. I was disgusted with this new ghetto trend.

This is a fairly standard Walmart. There is not much else to be said about it, and the only complaint I have is their soda aisle always seems to be a bit lacking in variety, but they have all the common brands.

Other than the prices, this place is a joke the lines are always ridiculously long. There never seems to be a cashier working just the self checkouts and one person working the 15 registers on there side

Live about 28 miles plus one way from them. Looking for a beverage cooler and it said quantity unknown, I called and explained Id be coming from so far away could they double check to make sure they had one in stock, the woman over the phone at customer service said she couldnt check, no one on the floor could check and she couldnt transfer me to a department because no one was on the floor. Absolutely ridiculous, fairly certain more than one employee runs that whole store.

Good place to get what I needed for last minute Christmas gifts. Also, it is fairly clean but it could always be better. The staff is fairly friendly but it would have been nice to at least be asked if there was anything I needed help with.

I was at the deli to get meat. I told the deli guy what I would like. He said he had to wait for the slicer. So I was watching him play with his mask and adjust his clothes. He then ask how I would like my meat slice. He NEVER put on new gloves. I told him I had to go. I never got the meat. Please please please change gloves.

Its Wal-Mart so its generally an ok store. They have a little bit of ever and during the pandemic theyve done an amazing job of keeping the store as clean and as stocked as best they can. The bathrooms could be cleaner but thats not necessarily the stores or employees faults, they can only do so much with the amount of people coming in and out throughout the day. Its more the people/customers that ruin the experience here. There are often rude, crude and sometimes crazily dressed customers.

Isles after isle is empty on my routine weekly visits. I contacted Walmart corporate with my complaint letting them know that I have pictures of many of the empty isles. Corporate e-mailed me that the Manager of this Walmart would contact me, several weeks later I have not heard from the manager.

Products and produce are usually of decent quality if you get there at the right time. By the end of the week the selection is close to nothing. A lot of the employees do not wear their masks correctly, and they arent very vigilant about making sure customers follow covid regulations.Obviously walmart is known for its affordability, but enter at your own risk.

Run out of most things I need but at times have things I cant find anywhere else.

Customer service at the Dekalb Walmart is HORRIBLE!!! I will admit that they keep great stock but the cashiers and workers walking/talking and mingling have careless attitudes.But look at the crab legs.. I didn’t buy them because it’s only 1Ib.

The customer service lady told us that we have to have our mask on because it was mandated not too happy about that
