The process went by very smoothly. I asked about a quote on Saturday and heard back first thing Monday Morning. They talked me through the price of my contacts with my insurance and any discount that I was able to get and I was able to pay for them quickly after that. Shipping took about 3-4 days. All in all I would recommend this company. Especially given that I was able to do it all online in this time of Covid 19.

I’m really happy I found this place. I was a little nervous because they seem to be fairly new. However, the price for a years worth of contacts was the best I could find and they were able to apply my vision benefits. I placed my order around lunch time and the contacts were outside my door when I woke up the next day. They even found me a $50 rebate to send off for through Acuvue. Pretty psyched.

I cannot recommend Insurance Optical enough. First of all, they have a great selection at a great price and they accept most insurance. They even calculate your benefit at check out, so there’s no paperwork to send in and no waiting for reimbursement.Unfortunately, my contacts were lost in transit by the USPS. I emailed Jene’ in Customer Support and received an immediate reply. She researched the problem and had a replacement order in the mail the next day. The high level of service I received was unparalleled. I will definitely continue to order my contacts from Insurance Optical and recommended them to all of my friends and family.

I found them online as one of the few websites that would let me order using my insurance benefits (I have VSP). I opted to get text messages as the main source of communication since I find that to be easier than email. The rep that helped me was, Josefina, and she was beyond helpful and explained how everything worked and also quoted me how much I would have to pay out of pocket with different types of contact lens brands and amounts. When I finally decided on a brand and amount, she gave me the exact amount I would be paying out of pocket (after the ins coverage) and sent over a detailed email with a link for me to confirm my purchase. I ordered my contacts on Tuesday and received them on Thursday that same week. They next day aired my contacts at no extra cost. Bottom line is I would highly recommend going through them whether you have vision ins or not. They have outstanding customer service.

Had a wonderful experience with insurance optical, I requested a quote by entering my personal information and a copy of my prescription on their website, and received a full quote the next day. They gathered my insurance information without any work from me and was able to easily include my benefits to my order along with giving me a discount and free shipping. I received my order within two days of initiating my request, which is something I have NEVER experienced when ordering contacts. I don’t wear contacts that often so it will be a while before I need more, but when I do order I will definitely be going through insurance optical.
