Super flavorful and creamy icecream and NON-DAIRY icecream! The cinnamon non-dairy was excellent in texture and taste. I will definitely be going back to try other flavors soon. My only suggestion would be for them to offer non-dairy whipped cream and hot fudge.

Interesting flavors, great ice cream, and the sundaes and specials are fun. Even bought some cookies and they were top notch. Go with multiple flavors in mind because there is limited quantity or inconsistent is with what you see on Instagram and what’s available in the store at time. I’ve run into this issue twice, but gotten something else and been happy. A must try for all!

Tried the Pistachio and Caramelized Fig, single scoop in a waffle cone. I also took a what I belive to have been a Biscoff Cookie Cheesecake with me to go, which was quite tasty. Unfortunately, I had a tough time tasting the Pistachio and only had a couple bits of beautiful fig flavor. It seemed to be maybe a caramel flavored ice cream as the base and sort of masked the flavors. The quality was good though and despite not being what I pictured, it still tasted delicious. I will definitely return to try some other flavors Iike Horchata and the Guanabana Sorbet

I like the uniqueness of the flavors but the prices here are outrageous! Yes I know they make their own ice cream, but I have found that even making my own unique ice cream is cheaper than going out to buy some.

Lots of different and unique flavors of both ice cream and cones. Prices are a little higher than you might expect for ice cream, but once you taste it, youll realize that a lot of heart was put into making it. Service is great... the owner was very welcoming and even showed our little one where the ice cream sleeps at night. Definitely worth checking out!

I didnt realize the flavor I ordered was plant based and it wasnt easily marked on the menu. The consistency was off and I didnt love it, and the nonpareil sprinkles arent my favorite and all have you crunching all night. Also they give paper straws for milkshake and the straw gets floppy before youre even halfway done. I wish I liked it more, real neat spot.

So many flavors. Yummy. Let me start by saying that this is the right way to make ice cream. I believe the ice cream is made in house. Every flavor weve tried is delicious. There are a bunch of single flavors or combinations on the menu already, but you can make your own combination. My favorite is the pistachio with caramelized fig. Yum. You can also buy any flavor in pint size to go too. Cant wait to come back and try some more!

This place is amazing. The flavors are done with an amazing hand that balance the sweet and the salt perfectly. It can sit in the freezer and it still serves easily with a spoon. The sweet corn and blueberry was subtle and sweet while the cinnamon just hits you hard. Everything I’ve had from this place is amazing and I can’t wait to try it all. The price is 100% appropriate for the quality. I will be back and I can’t wait to sit out in the Florida heat enjoying a literally perfect cone of ice cream

The ice cream flavors are original and the idea of homemade ice cream is great, but the flavors were super sweet. Yes, its ice cream and supposed to be sweet, but the sweetness overpowered the actual flavors and special ingredients they used. Service was terrible. The workers were teenagers who would rather socialize with one another than help the group of customers that just walked in. The manager seemed more interested in closing the store for the day than helping his staff and customers. Overall, not a great experience. Thumbs down!

I would have posted a picture but I ate my ice cream way too fast. The butterscotch brownie and chocolate honeycomb was super delicious! I definitely would get ice cream here again!

Honestly, I came thinking I was going to get an ice cream way better than Dairy Queen and instead I left disappointed and with a huge bill. 3 little cups of ice cream for 25 dollars.... I could of bought me way better tasting ice cream from Dairy Queen and for a lot less. Not impressed and not coming back. I can say I tried it, but would not recommend it.

Creative flavors and friendly staff. Some of the flavors come in and out of season, so if something catches your eye online, it may not be in store at the moment. Only complaint is that the ice cream is a tad too sweet for my taste. Their ice cream needs to balance out the sweet n savory meter. But I drop by and buy a pint every once in a while.

I want to leave a good review but it would be a lie. They served me my brownie sundae in a cardboard to-go container, charged me $30 for a cone+cup+sundae (atlantic ave prices!) AND the only ice cream parlor on planet earth that has no cherries as a topping. Like ever. Never again... 👎👎

This was a interesting place. I came here during Spring Break and had already had ice somewhere else in the week. Anywho we came here and the location straight up does not match the business model. We walked in and the place is very well set up and I liked the lights and the menu. The workers were friendly and we got our ice cream. This is where things took and turn for the worst. The ice cream was overly sweet, way way overly sweet. My cone broke the second the lady gave me the ice cream. I walked back and as I ate the icecream the cone seemed to break into 1000 pieces. I eventually threw out the ice cream and went home. That’s what 30$ for 3 cones gets you here. The previously mentioned other ice cream place was half the price and tasted barely worse.( arguably better)

Up from NYC and stopped into this very cool vibe ice cream shop after lunch with friends.. Had to try at least 3 flavors of my favorite flavors..Blueberry muffin, coconut chip and strawberry shortcake.. INSANE! large chunks of homemade cookies, cake, muffin.. and more.. all combined with delicious homemade ice cream.. All natural freshly made.. If youre in the area I would definitely stop in.. besides the great ice cream, brownies and fresh waffle cones, the decor is pretty cool and funky.. would give it a 10 if I could! Sorry no pic of our ice cream since I didnt think of it before digging in..lol but we loved our new Proper trucker hats.. also a cool design and a fun memory of a fun time.. will def visit again when in the area!Btw.. saw the other reviews after I posted and I have to say Im surprised! Yes I do agree the price is a bit higher, not much, than other places but those other places are serving machine made air with tons of stuff you cant pronounce in them.. here youre going for quality ice cream not processed.. Im a total junk food foodie.. but like it to be quality! if that makes sense..This is no half air processed stuff..you pretty much pay for what you get.. Similar to chocolate or wines.. I love ice cream! I try to stay away from it...but sometimes it calls me. So I tried Proper Ice Cream today. Creative flavors and top notch ingredients -- I had a crunchy waffle cone filled with coffee ice cream mixed with chocolate bits and peanut butter. Yummmm. It was hard to pick a flavor, so Ill have to return to try the rest of the menu. They also have toppings to add to your treat. And they offer old fashioned milkshakes. So decadent! I should add that I went to the Congress Ave location (Boynton Beach just north of the Delray line). Parking is right outside the store. Easy.

Some of the best ice cream I have ever had! We are in town being tourists and wanted some dessert after dinner. We will be back when we are back in town!

The best kept secret is the flight. 5 scoops of ice cream on a plate. They have a standard one but if they arent busy and you sweet talk them, theyll substitute flavors for you. Every flavor Ive tried is incredibly delicious. They have new takes on old standards and unusual combinations that somehow work well. The place is cool and clean and the staff is excellent. Its maybe the best ice cream around but for sure its in the top 5. We are ice cream lovers so we make the rounds and this is definitely in the regular rotation. Try the banana pound cake, chocolate malt, ginger snap or any of the spicy ones. I love cinnamon chocolate and chili chocolate too. Oh yeah, they let you try them, too. Go there, your taste buds will thank you!

Some people knock this place and I don’t understand why. This isn’t your dads ice cream shop.The flavors are very creative and exciting to try. One of the best brownie Sunday’s I’ve had (get it with “deez nuts”).

Sweet spot for unique Ice cream. Homemade, tons of flavors for the ice cream and cones. A bit pricey but understandable for the quality your getting. I ordered one scoop in a cone and it was huge! Coffee and donuts flavor was delicious! Happy hour between 5-7 on weekdays. No indoor seating, only outdoor tables. Staff was nice and will let you try flavors before purchasing. Would go again for sure!

If you are in Delray Beach... Proper Ice Cream is by far the best ice cream I have had. The Carrot Cake is great. Its the type of ice cream a person salivates when thinking of it. Its that good.

Amazing flavors. You must stop there to enjoy some very interesting ice cream from people who take the time to prepare delicious ice-cream. Get a quick glance at their kitchen where all the magic is happening. See the ingredients such as quince jam imported from France on the shelves...The pistachio-fig I enjoyed was so good because the flavors were so real.

The Vanilla Rocky Road is creative but it was full of soggy pretzel pieces (perhaps dipping the pretzel in chocolate?). The smallest size is $6.50 for one scoop, over $7 in a cone, and it goes all the way up to $12.50 for 3. When I asked what made it command those prices, I was told big scoops... It was a regular scoop. A family of 6 came in, looked at the prices, and quietly left. My chocoholic son son tried 3 different chocolate flavors and turned down ice cream...unheard of from my 6 year old.

I love ice cream and this is by far the best ice cream Ive ever had in my entire life. If youre in the area and have the opportunity to stop by I highly suggest it. If youre a local and you havent been yet, you have no idea what youre missing.

Ordered hot fudge sundae, it had ice cream and choc sauce only. No whip cream or cherries or fudge. Plus for 2 sundaes it was $22 plus. Ice cream wasnt even good. Would have been better off going to Publix and buying blue Bell hot fudge whip cream and a cherry and saved half my $22+

Amazing ice cream! So many flavors Ill have to come back again soon. The vegan options were delicious, I had pistachio and cookies and cream. The non- vegans I was with enjoyed the traditional ice cream as well (strawberry, deep chocolate, and some peanut butter/ coffee/ chocolate thing). They also have cold brew coffee on tap to help fend off the sugar crash. Oh, and the cones! Fun colors and flavors of waffle cones.

WARNING: Eating here, just once, will make you addicted!!!!! :-). Ice cream is PHENOMENAL!!!! So many interesting and different flavors that taste incredible, in addition to some more common flavors. Not only is the ice cream phenomenal, but so are the cones and toppings. The rain was our friend last night. Instead of walking down Atlantic and going for the usual, we hopped in the car and based on YELP reviews went to Proper. Not only do they have innovative flavors done beautifully, their classics convey their dedication to quality. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I HIGHLY recommend them.

Im not sure what all the hype is for this place. We were no offered samples. There are a few high top seats inside, otherwise there are picnic tables in the parking lot. You read the flavors from the menu board and can not see them. All the flavors are in a back room. They serve the ice cream in a paper cup with plastic spoons. For the price, it should be served with real spoons and a glass dish which improves the flavor.It is $9 for two scoops. (No cone) we had the brownie Butterscotch and the butter cake. The ice cream was not creamy and had cryStals in it. The brownie butterscotch had small pieces of brownie. I like the mix with the butterscotch flavor.The girl taking my order did not smile, did not seem happy to be at work, was able to answer my questions, did not make suggestions.You can get pints to go for $10.Overall, I was not impressed and will not return when there are many better options in south Florida for homemade ice cream.

Proper Ice Cream made my wedding so special they let me order 20 pints of ice cream and everyone loved it! Having specialty ice cream for dessert added such a nice little touch. Thank you Shaya and Liz for all of your help it was appreciated.

This place is off the charts delicious. With so many options for ice cream in South Florida, this is hands down the best. You can tell a lot of thought and time went into the production of each flavor. A must try for everyone, because you will be coming back for more.

This place is quite the little hidden gem. They make all their ice cream and toppings in house and it is all fantastic. My personal favorite is the vanilla rocky road with the peanut butter crunch topping.

Really good ice cream. Ive never been a Rocky Road type of person but their spin on it is really good. Neat little ice cream shop. Have only bought their pints so far but look forward to eating in some time.

I had the blueberry shortcake in a coconut cone. The ice cream was very good. Could not taste the coconut in the cone (maybe the ice cream flavor was too strong). Very pricey. Very limited hours Thursday thru Sunday. Too hot to sit outside and no indoor seating.

Visited last night. Gentleman behind counter very pleasant. I ordered pistachio with caramelized fig and my husband ordered dark coffee with peanut butter crunch. Both had no flavor and not creamy. Each had topping and one scoop cost $16 .I did not eat mine. There are 3 seats inside but were occupied by the workers friends. We will not be returning.

I work close by so I tried the rum and raisin flavor today and I was so unhappy with it because it had a lot of freezer burn and it just Tasted horrible. To add it was so overpriced I could have went to Publix and got their rum and raisin and it would taste much fresher and more authentic, the only ice cream spot I have been able to go and get good fresh authentic ice cream is Jacksons Ice Cream in Dania Beach fl.

I thought I chose the location near Atlantic Ave but wow I am so happy we ended uo coming here instead! Everyone was so nice and welcoming. Live that they have GLUTEN FREE macaroons and they are gigantic! They made my mom a cookie sandwhich out of them! It made her whole night! I got their butterscoth brownie with italian toasted meringue on top! Ive done this with their blueberry muffin too which was also delicious! I come here for the meringue alone! So worth it. I hated going before because parking was a pain but we dont have to deal with that at this specific location and they have more flavors on their menu! This is our new spot for sure ❣ if youre into trying some wild flavors (like sweet corn blueberry or rosemary olive oil ice cream this is the place for you!!

After hearing Proper Ice Cream several times recently, a mini-road trip to Delray from Jupiter was called for - I needed to know what the buzz about South Floridas newest Ice Cream palace was all about - I will drive for Ice Cream. Tastebuds were ticked with flavors of Blueberry Muffin, Pistachio & Caramelized Fig, Black Sesame Seed (oh yes!), Hot Chocolate & Cayenne (sweet heat!), CORN with Blueberries and Turmeric. Be sure to add the HoneyComb topping. This was such a treat! Rickey & the staff were amazing, full of smiles, on-point recommendations and laughs. Ill be back for sure and will be sending adoring fans from Jupiter!

Went in yesterday with my son to try them out, since they just opened and literally it was the best ice cream I have ever had. We got a couple pints to go, because I wanted my wife to try it and she said the same exact thing. You gotta try this place and the staff/owners were awesome too.
