I needed a transmission rebuild and started looking for a shop online. I came across AutoPro and saw they had a 5 our of 5 rating on Google. So I called and talked to Jose and was convinced he was who I wanted to take my truck to. His price was fair and in line with what others were estimating. He told me he had a couple vehicles ahead of me but asked me to drop it off on Tuesday and he would get to it Wednesday or Thursday and told me it was a 3 day job. Jose called me on Friday explaining what he needed to do and we agreed. He called me tat evening around 6:30 to tell me it was done and ready to be picked up. I could not believe how fast he was. I picked it up and have been driving it for a week and it is shifting smoother than it has since I owned it. I highly recommend this place.

Jose is as honest as a mechanic can get. And I’ve been through a few in 35 years of driving. I usually work on my own vehicles but his fair pricing led me here twice in 2 months for differential and front end suspension work on my 4x4 Dakota and I’ll be back. Their work is exceptional.

Jose has a very good attitude, he always seems happy, he is polite, and most of all he is honest. Its very rare to find an honest hard working auto repair man that loves his job and has a passion for doing honest work. Ill definitely take my truck to his repair shop for all my repair needs! I took my Dodge Ram 2500 6.4 hemi (gas) truck to get it diagnosed and fixed. My truck was throwing lean codes P0171 and P0174. After he checked the fuel pump, vacuum system, and other things. He found my oxygen sensors to be burnt. He replaced those and now my engine has much more power and it doesnt sound like its chugging gas! I brought it to him because it would sometimes stall while driving, had lost lots of power, and wouldnt pick up and go like it used to. It now runs like it did when I first bought it. He did tell me that my truck failed a vacuum leak test and could not find the leak externally. He believes I may have an internal leak, and the oxygen sensors will help for a while. Ill save money so that I can take it back to him and get my engine looked at to see what internal issue it may have. I had originally taken my truck to a Dodge Dealership before taking it to him. The Dodge Dealership told me it would cost thousands of dollars to fix and they didnt catch the oxygen sensor issue! The Dodge Dealership said the same thing about an internal issue, but they didnt tell me why they thought it was internal. Jose was honest with me on why he believes it to be internal due to the vacuum leak test. Ill take it back to Jose sometime to have him look internally in my engine and see what maybe causing the vacuum leak. Jose gave me details that the Dodge Dealership did not want to tell me. I fully trust Jose to fix my truck and I highly recommend him to everyone I know!

Jose was great! I needed the alternator swapped out in my truck. The battery died on me a few blocks away and I had to get a ride to his shop.He gave me his portable charger cables to get my truck there. When I pulled in, he had my truck fixed up and ready to go in about 20 min.

I really hate taking my car to the shop. The employees are usually condescending and slimy. Theyll take you for everything youve got.BUT THIS SHOP, offered by far the cheapest estimate, and stuck to it without me even saying anything.They allow you to bring your own parts, and they are incredibly friendly and hardworking.I will never go to any other shop again.I love this place. ❤Update: I called today for an oil change, which they dont do. BUT they recommended me to another shop and even told me to avoid walmart. Astounding customer service.

We had a great experience using AutoPro. They were professional and finished the work when they said they would. They charged is a fair price and did not try to add on more fees. Came by needing a new transmission for my car. Talked with the owner letting him know I needed the car for work and school. We were able to work some things out and he had it done in less than a week. Great family owned business with amazing customer service. My experience at this mechanic shop has been amazing!! I have just graduated college and have been going to them for about a year now. I was referred by a friend. As a woman many mechanics try and overcharge and tack on extra issues, but not with this shop!! The first time I came here I had already changed my spark plugs twice (around $200+ each) and each time they would malfunction within a month or two. The last time I got them changed I went to AutoPro about a year ago and they have been great since! They work fast and have great prices!My second time was bc my alternator went out and even though Jose, one of the mechanics, was on vacation he helped me get my car towed and fixed within days! They have great customer service and are very professional! If you are looking for trustworthy mechanics who ACTUALLY FIX THE PROBLEM please go here!! I had the best experience ever. I have a 2013 Chevy Silverado with 163k miles. My transmission was not shifting correctly and there was a noice coming from the bottom of my truck. Jose looked at it and gave me a diagnostic super fast. I could tell he had experience with this transmissions and explained to me with details what was happening on my vehicle. I don’t know anything about cars, and I totally understood what he was explaining. I had called other shops around and they wanted me to pay for diagnostic a lot of money. Jose was the best by far, and rebuilt my transmission at a reasonable price. The price he told me before working on my transmission was they price he charged me at the end. I never felt overcharged or anything. He did told me that he didn’t think I was going to need the computer for the transmission, but in case it was bad, it was going to be extra for the parts. But I am glad Mu vehicle did not needed. My vehicle it’s back in the road and it’s working great. That’s AutoPro Repair.

Jose is the man! I almost hugged him at the end. Gave me several options to replace my tranny. Since my Honda Pilot is already a beater, I chose the cheapest option. I called a dozen other shops who all gave me one option that was 3-4K. He had the old one out within hours, knew about flushing the lines before the new one went in, replaced the line filter, and had the new one in as soon as it showed up. When I paid him it was the exact amount he told me days earlier, no nickel and diming me like all shops do. Id call him before I have any work done if I lived in Denton.
