Carr is a family run operation that is always quick and provides great service! The prices are reasonable and it’s a great way to support local businesses. I would definitely give them a shot next time you need help with your vehicle!

I have only been to Carr auto once- but the experience was excellent.35 years ago I was a mechanic myself, so I know when a repair shop is attempting to sell me what I dont need or over charge me excessively. I still do some of my own work myself when I have time, (which is rare) but I feel good about having a place to go where I feel I am being treated fairly and charged very fairly for the work that is done. I highly recommend Carr.

These guys are THE BEST IN DENTON! It is a family-owned and run business, and they are always fast, affordable, and honest. Doug even took me back into the shop to show me what he found on our 2005 Honda Civic when he pulled the bumper off to fix the radiator. PLUS they have the most adorable chihuahua named Sparky running around the office...definite bonus!

I used to get good and fast service there but I have been waiting for a week just for a estimate for repairs I need. I know they are a family garage but they need more office personnel to accommodate potential new customers. Im just thankful that there are other garages to choose from . Sincerely disappointed!!!

Recommended by a friend, we will return because of the service.We had a vehicle that required major engine work. The dealership was giving us a high quote. We went to Carr for a second opinion and costing.Within 24 hours they confirmed the issue, and we asked for their cost to do the work. They provided a better value for less money. We had parts being purchased from salvage. When Carr received the first shipment, they told us that it didnt match in terms in quality, so they returned it to find a better part. We were please as it showed they valued the job they did for the customer. Every financial transaction, we had a receipt (via email when over the phone) right away. They used SMS/text to keep us informed. Once the job was done, it looked and drove like new. If had I one recommendation, it would be for them to find a way to schedule or automatically send status updates. We had to follow-up several times as they had the vehicle for over a week. However, their service was great.

These great people were able to fix all the problems my last mechanic failed to do. They are honest people, who try to provide the best quility service they can. What i liked was the constant updates to let you know how the repairs where coming along. Highly recommend them.

Got my hybrid Prius air conditioner repaired here and it has been blowing cold all summer long. They even used the correct special oil ND-OIL 11 for this Toyota compressor/ condenser system.

Doug is very good at diagnosing your cars problem and finding a solution. His rates are very reasonable and he doesnt upsell you. If he says you need to do something, rest assured it is necessary.I strongly suggest you bring your car into Doug.

Most honest and trustworthy mechanic shop in Denton hands down. My company I work for even takes the company trucks here. They are all so nice and dont try to up sell you and tell you that you need all this stuff you dont actually need. I will never go anywhere else in Denton but here. Very reasonably priced and just nice people all the way around.

Friendliest people Ive ever met! I got a flat tire right by their business and went in to ask if by any chance they sold tires. They politely told me they didnt but told me there was a place that did right up the street. They then offered to take me and my 2 yo to check it out. I grew up doing all my own automotive repair work and still do quite a bit myself, but in the last few years Ive started sending them to Carr when things get busy or more complicated. Doug has always taken care of issues quickly and honestly. Most recently I brought him an F250 which I thought had a leaking rear main seal. He found a blown HPOP hose and fixed the truck in 2-days for a quarter of what I was expecting. He really seems to care about finding the right solution to problems. This is how I do business and I know its not always the easiest way to work so I appreciate the extra effort.
