I went to this place thinking that I was gonna be out a whole bunch of money from what I was told at different places. In 5 minutes he came back and told me it would be a simple fix. He also said it would only cost about $70.00. These guys are honest. You do not find many honest people in this world anymore. They are very reasonable with their pricing. I would recommend these guys for sure.

Darren is the man! Ive been taking my vehicles (I own a small fleet truck dealership) to him for years. Always consistent with the work he does, and always on time!

Service performed was mediocre. Had them remove vehicles existing muffler and install a straight pipe. The welds leaked badly and I had to take It back. Same person tried to fix the welds and exhaust continued to leak. Had to take back to another muffler shop since this one was unable to handle this simple task. Excalibur is cheaper then most muffler shops but the quality shows. Payed $130 for another muffler shop to rip out what they did and install a new straight pipe and this time It was welded on correctly.

I would recommend this shop to others. They have reasonable prices and good service.

Excalibur is the best experience to have your vehicle worked on and offers great pricing. Excalibur installed a new flowmaster super 44 muffler and twin exhaust with chrome angled tips on my 2013 Ford King Ranch F150. They did a excellent job and had me smiling from ear to ear when I seen and heard it rumble. These guys went well above expectations in getting my Bronco down pipes they fabricated to hooked back up to existing manifolds and dual pipes. I will go there for any future exhaust work.

I took my 96v6Mustang to have a dual exhaust kit finished putting in since the mechanic I use wasnt zoned to weld where he currently works out of and the job was done so great. It sounds awesome! The price was way cheaper than I had originally thought. It took a couple of days and that was due to a few modifications and he explained in detail over the phone. Highly recommend.

I had 2 Roush mufflers put on my mustang. The mufflers were the incorrect size for my exhaust pipes (that’s my fault) and Excalibur was able to weld it on properly and at a very affordable price ($80 all together). Can’t recommend this shop enough. Professional, honest, affordable.

Great place for modified cars. Welds in mufflers and resonators for very cheap and does a good job. The price I was told on the phone was the price out the door. No funny shop charges or anything.

I went to Darrin to look at my muffler. He replaced it. The price was very reasonable. I couldnt believe it. I have gone and called around to 3 or more muffler shop and the price were $185 and up. Darrin price were least than $100. Thanks Darrin, he is a very pleasant person.

Took my Infinity to have two hangers replaced and found out my flex pipes were busted! Darren was straight forward with exactly what the car needed and completed the job to my satisfaction. The car runs perfect and Im very pleased with the result.

Had exhaust work done here a couple weeks ago on my Genesis Coupe. Already had an aftermarket setup but wanted something a little different. He was able to make it happen and did a Fantastic job!!! I took my 2017 ss2 Camaro to this gentleman and all of my previous vehicles, he does stellar and honest work! I just had my headers installed and the shop that did them messed up my spark plugs and installation of my mufflers, he got me the right muffler and fixed bad welds! He is not out for a quick buck and will deliver on work promised! His prices are phenomenal aswell. Seriously as someone who has a lot of work done on his cars you will want to bring yours to his shop.

Excalibur exhaust is by far the best shop Ive been to. Great pricing, fast, and painless. I had to get a new catalytic converter, and decided to do a muffler delete as well.You can tell Darren knows what hes doing, and he will do whatever he possibly can to make your car sound/run better than it did before. The cuts were flawless, and the welds just the same. When he bent the piping, he made sure it would be exactly the same as if the mufflers were there. I would recommend Excalibur to anyone who asked where to get their exhaust work done.

Had my first experience there today. Owner Darren is great. I had an exhaust issue and was expecting the possibility of paying lots of money to get it fixed. Turns out it was a very small issue and he was honest about it and charged me next to nothing to fix it!!!! After being duped/gauged/lied to by mechanic shops in the past, was refreshing to deal with someone honest and reasonable!!! Will be back for my auto service needs in the future.

As the owner of Excalibur Muffler and Automotive, regarding the one star review, I was not able to find his record of visit so Im not sure when that was. Nevertheless, I always try to make sure all work is done well and would rather re-do a repair for free, if ever needed, rather than have someone dissatisfied with anything done here. Im not sure anyone could have paid 500 dollars, somewhere else, to repair 2 welds when the original cost for everything, parts included, was only 200. If anything that I do were to not be to the customers liking, I would do my best to make it right.

Had him do some exhaust work on my truck a few times and on different vehicles. This man knows what he is doing. Most dont know he can do other repairs too. Ive been in the auto business before and yeah there are some bad ones that want to make their weeks pay off of 1 or 3 cars. Not this guy. Last time I was there I went to pay the bill and added a little extra for his work ethics, speed, and quality but he would not except it. Also tried to give extra since I new what he did was well under flat rate time.

I first went to Excalibur muffler almost a year ago. I had a leaking header gasket due to longtubes I put on my mustang. I would estimate he tried to fix it probably 4 times and it is a long job getting those gaskets off and reinstalling them. In the end the leak couldnt be fixed so he gave me my money back which was hard for me to accept. A few weeks ago I got a full cat back installed on a dodge challenger, and an exhaust hanger was rubbing making a vibration and sound. I took it back to him and he fixed it free of charge. For anyone needing exhaust work in the DFW area I would look no where else. There isn’t many honest people like Darren in the automotive field.

Bought a V8 F150 and wanted it to sound like a V8. Installed a Borla at a great price and havent had a single issue. Love it!

Fast, efficient and fair pricing. My friend and I were thinking of taking on my 4 bad catalytic converters. They made my truck run real bad and were gonna be an epic fail come inspection. Our estimated cost was about a hundred dollars more than what Darrin at Excalibur did it for. My truck sounds and runs great. It took him only two hours. Inspection will not be an epic fail! Darrin solved the problem by building a custom system with only two cats instead of the 4 that I had on my truck.

He asked if I could wait while he fitted a new muffler in-between scheduled appointments. Whatta guy. Friendly guy, but does shoddy work. I had him replace a catalytic converter on my truck; got a check engine light afterwards. My mechanic said it was related to the converter and I should take it back. When I brought it back to Excalibur, he said he doesnt do engine diagnostics and couldnt help me. After another mechanic visit, I had to take it to a welder to redo the welds on the catalytic converter Excalibur installed, it was leaking on both sides of the part. Worst welds Ive seen in probably 5 years, to quote the welder.Bottom Line: I spent $200 on this guys work, and another $500 to fix it. Avoid.

I called around to a couple places (including a Meineke less than a mile from my home). I was looking to have a new Roush axel-back exhaust put on my mustang, but I am very particular about having work done on my car. I found Excalibur online and the reviews were stellar. I spoke with Darren, who gave me a quote much lower than everyone else. I will admit that I had my reservations when I arrived, as it is a really small shop, not what I am accustomed to. Darren was polite and started working on my car immediately. He took the time to answer all my questions and didnt have an issue with just how anal-retentive I was about the exhausts needing to be symmetrical. He worked quickly, went the extra mile to exceed how I wanted everything to be done and honored his exact price quote. I could not be happier with the end result. If I ever need any exhaust work don in the future, I will be going back to Excalibur without hesitation.
